We decided to dine at Savage Pizza because we wanted whole wheat crust. It was a really great meal. Our server Katherine was friendly and helpful. She was often available and kept our drinks filled. I had the Sav-Veg pizza. He had the Greek pizza. Both pizzas were delicious with generous toppings. The crusts were perfectly cooked. I dont usually eat pizza crust. I ate this crust. I found myself wondering why I had not been to Savage Pizza for many years. The seating was comfortable and spacious. The Marvel Comics theme was well done and included hard covered books for customers to browse. I’ll be coming here on a more regular basis, since I pass here on my weekly visits to Dekalb Farmers Market. I forgot to check the health department score or the bathroom. But the place seemed very clean.

I have passed by here countless times, but finally decided to give it a try about 2 weeks ago as I was coming home from Secondlife Atlanta(around the corner) the other night. Was thinking as a first-timer, I did not want to be too adventurous with a selection, so I ordered a regular cheese pizza with bacon to go and it didn’t take too long for it to be ready. The staff member who was making the pizza that night was super friendly and can I just say I love the superhero-themed interior? The pizza was very tasty and the crust is on the thinner side. Though I do think it is just a hair pricier for the size, I definitely would like to go back someday to try other pizzas.

This is our go-to-carry-out pizza location but as of this evening not anymore. Usually the pizza here is on point but tonight, pizza from Pizza Hut would have tasted better and would have been a lot more affordable. Not only was the center of the pie still raw it was cold too. It was drenched in sauce with very little cheese and collapsed in your hands like rolled out play dough. Tonight they were off their game and because of this I’m nervous to give them another chance considering the cost of my cold, raw, crappy pizza! I’m giving them 2 stars because I have been a long time customer and they were so good in the past but had I not been here before they would get 1 star for sure! What happen to this place???

Great dough, good salads, family friendly. My family has been eating at Savage Pizza for years and the restaurant remains consistent and pleasing to frequent. Vegetarians will rejoice in pies which are not soggy. People of the meat eating persuasion will likewise find fresh local meats used. Service is always good.

I drive past here constantly on my way to the Dekalb Farmers Market. I was starving the other day & decided to stop in for a bite to avoid over shopping. I got the Mexican supreme pizza and added jalapeños. The first slice I had was very disappointing, basically only tasted like beans, nothing else had flavor. Then the cook informed me she forgot to put the jalapeños on it, so we threw a few across top of the remaining slices. This gave the pizza flavor, but it was still only beans with a jalapeño kick. The vegetables, cilantro & ground beef had no flavors of their own unfortunately. The crust was good. Thin, not over or under cooked, but I wanted the Mexican flavors to pop…

We live literally down the road from Savage, so anytime we went pizza we go here. Or should I say, we get delivery from here ;) The pizza is always on point. The crust is a perfect combination of soft, chewy, and crispy. You cannot go wrong with any of their specialty pizzas. Our favorites are: — white on white — Greek — no-brainer — chicken cordon bleu The calzone is okay. I got mine stuffed with an abundance of mushrooms(I asked for a triple order of mushrooms) and it still was not mushroom-y enough. The Greek salad deluxe is tasty, so are the breadsticks. The only pizza I don’t like here is the Mexican one. The beans dry it out, and the sour cream doesn’t make up for its lack of sauce and flavor. Great pizza. Great delivery.

Beware! I’ve only eaten there once, but they charged my debit card 2x and took more than a week to right the problem. Turns out they charged EVERYONE who ate there that day 2x. Never once offered a free meal or a discount for my troubles. And the food was only so-so.

Great pizza specials. Whole wheat crust is very good, fairly light and not overbearing. Very efficient service.

Thank you savage for saving my stomach from the hunger craze at least twice a month. They have other options than just pizza and when I can’t break away from the office they deliver it to me and I can live another day without being arrested for murders caused by hanger. The food is wonderful and unique. Mexican pizza?! Yeah. It’s good. I also love the subs. Thanks savage!

Really cool atmosphere if you like super heroes. I always have to sit at the wonder woman table just because. The pizza is good but a little sweet for my taste. But the bread knots were great.

Savage is a kinda goto place for me and the wife when we need a good pie… I like the atmosphere of this place and I always get a B+ to A+ pie. I taken my family From Copenhagen here and had as many as 5 large pies of different types. Pizza: I really like the crust and I usually get the Buttafuoco with my additions. The veggies are always fresh and the pies come out in a timely fashion. The key to getting good pizza is knowing how to order it to your taste. Especially since Savage gives you the option build your own from the ground up. My wife and I kinda got it down to where we are rarely disappointed. We have had one that was missing something… but that has been out of the norm. Service: I found the service to be good, not over bearing(which I prefer) but not leaving you drifting in the wind. I am a regular so I tend to know what to expect.

Very fun atmosphere and décor. We went here on a Monday. There were only a few other groups. We ordered the no brainer, garlic knots, and a Caesar salad. Garlic knots were mediocre, salad was good, pizza was great. My husband got a call one and it was amaze balls. Very cool fun place!

Love this place! So many pizza options… the Greek and white pizzas are my favorites! The hot turkey club(I had a bite) was awesome! Service can be slow… but the pizza, suns and calzone(try the Mexican Deluxe) is SO good!

I love Marvel Comics. My husband thinks I am crazy and quite possibly a larger comic book character need than him… well, I am… but with the recent uptick in Marvel movies, I can’t help it. So I love Marvel Comics = I love the décor at Savage Pizza. The one thing I look for in a pizza place is their Greek salad. Don’t ask why but I do. Mellow Mushroom has a great Greek salad. Savage Pizza has an amazing Greek salad. Their lettuce is crisper, I think. The pizza is quite good. No complaints!

I felt regular to good about Savage until I learned they deliver FOOD to my HOUSE so now I feel good to great! The only other places who come over here are either the Hut or Domino’s and those both make me very sad. After a busy weekend of watching my husband do things around the house, we didn’t feel like cooking today. We called Savage up and got a Cajun pizza, a Greek salad, and a piece of cake. All items arrived at their proper temperatures, and they were all deeeeelicious. I’m already contemplating calling up and asking if they’ll just bring me a piece of this damn cake again. Maybe some garlic bread. The total was like $ 30 and that’s about how much it costs for a shitty pizza to get driven to my house, too, so I’m not even upset about it. I think they’ll be getting sick of our number on their Caller ID because this is a real game-changer.
