Established in 2014.

Garage Door Studio’s collaborative concept was started by 4 local artists and friends in Avondale Estates. Each has their own unique gift and talent to share. Together, they have united their expertise and are excited to share their creativity with the community.

Lou, Patty, Rachel, Jen S.

Business Owner

Lou Callaway is a goldsmith and jeweler by trade, but had a desire to unleash her own creative ideas. Skipping Daisies Designs came to life in hopes of making jewelry design fun while putting a smiles on the faces that wear her creations.

With a love for all things old and vintage, Rachel Herzog hunts thrift stores to find discarded cashmere and wool sweaters to create one-​of-​a-​kind creations., Using the felting process, she taps in to her sewing talents to create unique pieces adorned by old buttons and keys.

After a trip to Thailand where she was given Buddhist prayer beads, or mala, Patty Rollins was inspired to launch her company, Bliss108. She calls them Love Beads-​colorful necklaces made of 108 beads containing all seven colors representing our energy chakras.

Owner of Jen Singh Creatively, Jen has worked as a commercial illustrator and graphic designer over 20 years. Her mixed media paintings and watercolor works have been featured in numerous publications and galleries.
