I’d typically not bother writing a review abut a liquor store bc what’s the point. They sell booze. Got it. However, this place most definitely deserves a shout out. These guys know their booze. They hooked me up with a 1st batch spiced whiskey from 38 North that was unreal. A little hot water and a squeeze of lemon and you’ve got the perfect hot toddy.
On top of that, they had a secret stash of a beer that shall go unnamed as it’s incredibly hard to find.
If you find yourself in the Vail area this place is a must. Booze, booze and more booze.

Great selections of wine and beer and liquors. Lots of options with Local brands! Staff is always great. Only wish they had an option for mix and match individual beer for tasting all the great ones out there! Most reasonably priced place in the valley too!

I like that the staff remembers you and what you like. They are always busy and adequately stocked! Great beer selection and have knowledgeable staff on hand. I go for all my needs. They always have great recommendations for gifts or parties. Parking lot kinda sucks but most people are in and out.

I am surprised there weren’t more ratings. This store has a phenomenal selection of wines and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. If you are into wine you’ll appreciate the selection and service. We always stop here when we stay in the area.

The staff are all cool as shit and most know their stuff intensely. Broad selection with many local and niche brews. Sommelier on staff during peak times and you can get it all from Boone’s Farm to $ 8000 Grand Cru. They take their wine seriously, and are happy to take time to ensure you walk out with the perfect bottle in your budget. Tastings on Thursdays, with 15% off the wines or beers being tasted. Love this place, visit all too frequently.

I was in Avon for a family trip in July and down the street from our hotel was Avon Liquors. The last night of our trip we walked in and were pleasantly surprised. Not only did they have a pretty good beer selection, they also had an excellent wine selection. If we had found it sooner, we would have utilized their wine tastings. Prices were reasonable for a mountain town and this place is definitely on my recommendation list.

I’ve been to Beaver, Joe’s and our hotel valet parker (from Piedmont, CA) recommended that we hit up Avon Liquors for the best deal so of course we did.
36 pack of beer, handle of Vodka, a couple mixers… or was it QTY 2 36 packs of beer?!? I dont’ remember… and we were off to the pool at Osprey aka Club Rehab.

Of the many places to buy wine, spirits, and beer in the Vail area, I think that the guys at Avon Liquors are the friendliest and most helpful. Kevin knows wines extremely well, and the staff all seem to be knowledgeable. There are wine and beer tastings each week and a system where points are accumulated and redeemable. I don’t drink a lot but when I am in need, this is my top choice.
