This place is a decent fast food place with tables and no server service. You need a kosher quick bite? This could be the place… Their shawarma is quite good, they also have salads that go with it… They could be better. The place does not look very clean and in need of a make-up…

The Shawarma is over price 10 $ !! I couldn’t eat the shawarma. It was disgusting Turkey shawarma. The taste of the humus is good. The Falafel is less than average. All I can say there is no taste in the food. If you really want to eat shawarma and Falafel, you must go to Arabian place.

Stay far far away from this place. After being victim of the attitude there, in my opinion, they do not care at all about the customer. They wanted the money not matter how disgusted I was.

Small portions and rude customer service. Not going back.

Authentic, slightly over-priced Glatt Kosher pita shop in an Aventura strip mall, good for families, and slightly shabby, too, Pita Plus fulfills that certain need for a fast pita or a felafel. As close as you will get to the land of milk and honey from Miami, Pita Plus is the real pita shop deal – not so clean and not so warm, but filling and fresh.

To call their food solid, doesn’t even do it justice. To top it off, it’s glatt… and you can’t tell by the food. The owners, Moshe and his brother, are the salt of the earth. Young chicken… beef kabob… schwarma…falafel…hummus…I could eat till I burst… and I can eat

Always passed by this place and today we decided to go in. My wife and I ordered the shawarma plate. I have to say the price was a little high, but when we took the first bite it was so worth it. The veggies and meat were on point. The pita bread just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended to come alone or with family.

Good-enough food is the best way to describe Pita Plus. Place is ok; I’m vegetarian and they didn’t have many non-meat options. I chose a tuna pita given the dearth of options and was slightly disappointed they didn’t have any snack(potato chips, dessert food) to add-on at checkout. Nice little spot to grab a quick bite, but definitely not a destination spot.

Well, I’ve tried lots of Pita/Shawarma all over the world. My experience here, maybe was the worst I had. Bread was cold, and meat has not a good flavor. Definitely I won’t come back.

Excellent shawarma and salad bar, great service. Better than all the other Israeli spots in Aventura(and I’ve tried them all). You really feel like you’re in little Israel there. The reviews speak for themselves. I will definitely be back for more!

Shawarma pita and fries are amazing. They deserve nothing less than 5 stars. Walked in today at around 1pm and it was packed. I managed to get my food in about a minute. So that is a plus. Plenty of indoor seating and I did see outdoor seating also.

#63 This place was absolutely amazing. As I walked into Pita Plus the man behind the counter greeted me in Hebrew. I heard this place was authentic Israeli – welcome to Aventura Stephani ;) The menu was broad and everything looked delicious. There is a long counter replete with delicious, freshly prepared foods behind that you can choose from as you make your way to the end. I was really dying for falafel and tahini so this is where I began. I was able to order my food exactly how I wanted it to be prepared. Cucumber salad with hot sauce, eggplant, hummus, cabbage type slaw… yummy! Also, schnitzel with chips, lamb shwarma, hummus with pita, some delicious fruit soda… oy veh! What will be first? There is outside seating on the walkway, as well as a large inside dining area, but the weather is too perfect, I simply cannot waste my life sitting inside. After eating most of my food, I simply could not finish the HUGE portions of the delicious foods I was served, I made my way out to the car with my companions. I would give anything for a spot like this near my house. Stephani Smiles for Pita Plus ;)

I have never had Israeli food before, so this was a unique experience for me. It was very good! I loved the taste; full of flavor! And the falafel sandwich didn’t look very large, but it was dense(with goodies), so by the end I had filled myself quite well. The food here is fresh, with high quality ingredients, and exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. They let me try a bit of shawarma and falafel just because I told them it was my first time. I will definitely return, and try more Israeli deliciousness!

I was looking for somewhat healthy to eat in Aventura while shopping at Off Saks Fifth. I found this place on Unilocal.Came in, long line but moved pretty fast. Lots of veggie apps and good selection of pita sandwiches made to order. I got Chicken Shishkabab pita with all the veggie fixins and sauces. Also had side order of Falafel balls. My pita sandwich was overflowing with fresh ingredients. The pita itself got drenched and wasn’t able to hold the fillings half way thru. The Falafel balls were also fresh but I can’t say they were the healthiest option cause they were deep fried. But they were surely delicious :) This place get’s really crowded so be patient while waiting in line. The servers behind the counter may not the friendliest but they get the job done. Food portions are great and prices reasonable.

Decided to try this place for the first time after reading some of the reviews. The service was great, but I went when it was not crowded. I ordered the steak pita and it was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but it was great for the price and for how quickly it was made. The only negative thing was that when I ordered the appetizer hummus, they told me that it was only«for here» and I had wanted it «to go». Instead I had to order a ½ pound of hummus and they do not provide anything to eat it with so it is sitting in a refrigerator until I can go and buy some pita or chips at the store. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for some good, quick food.

Fast, fresh, tasty, distinguished Israeli food. There’s no better place to find it than Aventura. Pita Plus gets it done quick with no BS. They’re nice and get you in and out. I had a falafel pita with everything. Delicious and not unreasonably priced. I do have to say that«Falafel Benny’s» falafel is better, but Pita Plus has the efficient setup and a slightly preferable ingredient spread. As a side note, the fries are the flimsy, soft Israeli kind… Don’t expect any crisp.

NPS = 7 An alright place. I wasn’t turned off but I was not blown away either. Maybe I should have ordered something different. I found this place through Unilocal because I wanted to try something different in the Aventura area. And by different I mean something that I do not try everyday, not something different than what is found in Aventura. I feel like Aventura is loaded with Kosher restaurants so it would not really be something different. Anyway, I walk in and its a simple little place. 3 – 4 guys working behind the counter tirelessly because its lunch hour. When you start the queue to order, you’ll notice trays in the beginning LOADED with what looks to be pickled vegetables. They are free. Serve yourself. I ordered the chicken shawarma. And it was just that. A chicken Shawarma. Nothing fancy. Nothing that«popped». It was chicken. Pita bread. And some fixins’. It tasted good and the price was fair. They’ll get you with the drinks though. $ 1.25 for a 12oz bottle of water. It wasn’t even the 20oz bigger Zephyrhills ones. All in all, lunch was about $ 10 and change.

This place is known to have the best Falafel pitas in town and I must say that they do. The food-really good. The service– it’s ok, they need to order more wheat pitas and the older dude making the food could be mean at times. The prices-are some what fair. **Note: This place is good for a 2nd and 3rd date night! You know, someone that you kinda like and someone that’s down to try new things. So, I ordered a Falafel pita on wheat, which was really good. I also tried their Israel-imported drinks, which were pretty tasty. Their fries were just ok and needed a lot of salt-some kosher salt would have been nice!!! The hummus was really good too. I would come back more but they seem to be pretty careless when it comes having wheat pitas daily and they don’t answer their phone when I call to pre-order. ***Get it together Pita Plus, if you want 4 stars!
