Business Owner

Wes was born on a thunderous night in Frankfurt, Germany many moons ago. A military brat, he had the opportunity to travel a wide range of places, which allowed him to develop an appreciation for different cultures (and an insatiable craving for bratwurst). Wes became increasingly involved in the performing arts, hosting the International Film Channel Trivia game show, performing alongside the Chinese acrobats at the California State Fair, and writing and producing several plays. After receiving his BA, his band signed a recording deal with Warner Brothers and he returned to Europe to record, tour, and practice his not-​very-​convincing English accent.

Bringing together his multitude of diverse experience, Wesley believes finding a home is one of the most crucial and defining moments in an individual or growing family’s life and is honored to help others find the perfect nest to start the next phase of their life.

If you’re looking for a place in Austin, Wesley Steck is the guy you want helping you find it. He is prompt, versatile, and works with to get you the place you want in the location you want it within your set budget. Almost immediately after contacting him, he had prices, available locations and dates ready for me to look over and narrow the choices down. We did this via text and email and I never had to work hard to reach him. Once my boyfriend and I were ready to make the 4 hour drive to see some apartments, it was easy to schedule a time with him that worked for us. He took us to each place and offered his professional opinions and made sure to ask the questions that we, as renters, often forget to ask. He took us to MANY apartments, as I’m a bit picky, all the while making us feel welcome and keeping us entertained with genuine, clever conversation. I never felt as though we were being pressured or that he was attempting to sell us on something we didn’t want. We finally found the one we loved and are loving it still! I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to relocate around the area. It was a great experience and the most welcoming introduction to the area!!!

Wesley is simply the best realtor I’ve ever had.
My situation is a little different — I own a pitbull, and up until I worked with Wesley, I was settling for living in very sub-​par apartments, because they were the only place that would allow my dog to live with me. I was tired of living the apartment life and wanted a house where my dog could play in the yard. Wesley was quick to get me a list of houses in my budget and preferred area, AND went the extra mile by getting in touch with each of the properties I was interested in to see if they would allow me to rent with an «aggressive» breed dog.
Less than one week later, I was signing my lease and was set to move in with no hassle at all.
Wesley is not only quick to work with you, he is an excellent communicator and provides you with plenty of great options within your budget and in the area you want. He is incredibly flexible (he met with us on a Sunday afternoon to show us houses), and really cares about helping you find your perfect place.
I absolutely recommend him 100%, every time.

This guy was amazing– as soon as I told him we were looking for a place, he had a list of things in our price range to go look at. We weren’t ready to look, so he just periodically sent me lists. He wasn’t pushy, just genuinely helpful. When we were ready, he helped us find exactly what we were looking for, and under budget! We will recommend him to any of our friends, and definitely to the whole Unilocal community!

Wesley is AWESOME! He is very attentive, professional, and on-​point. I have some special needs with my moving situation and he has gone above and beyond to link me up with the right place. If something needs urgent attention, he’ll send me a text to let me know information has been emailed, which is great for me because I’m in sales to I rarely check my personal account and I’m on the phone a lot. He works tirelessly for his clients. I’ve never been treated this well. Relationships are very important to me and Wesley is a pro at cultivating them. Call him today!

I found myself in a pickle. I had couple of weeks to move out and had to find a very specific kind of property that will allow me to work in music. Wes was great and in a week I was signing a new lease in a great place for me. I doubt I could have found the level of service and effectiveness elsewhere. Plus he is always cordial and nice. This was my first experience with JB Goodwin and I did not realize how many agents there were to choose from. Among the many, Wesley Steck just immediately stood out to me. He has an awesome personality and I noticed it from his bio on the site. When I contacted him later that day, his response was immediate and I told him what I was looking for. As I was preparing to retire from the Army and move from Georgia back to Texas, I had no idea where I would live. Wesley was very helpful in getting a list of potential places put together matching our desired size and amenities. He even made an effort to update the list every few days without prompting.
I wasn’t able to look at any places before I moved, so Wesley met with my brother instead and showed him around different places.
For being in such a weird situation and being unsure of a lot of aspects of the move, it was very reassuring to have someone as helpful and dedicated as Wesley.
