Established in 2009.

After almost 18 years working with commercial real estate, I finally fulfilled my personal dream of owning and operating a landscape company. All of those years hiring and firing landscaping companies have given me incredibly valuable insight into what is required and truly important of a landscape company. I have worked very hard to incorporate all I have learned into Wellspring and look forward to having the opportunity to be as passionate about your personal landscaping as I am for my own. — Kirk M. At Wellspring we know how important landscaping is to the value of a property. Nothing affects the appearance of a property more than a great looking landscape.

As a landscape maintenance company, the services provided by Wellspring include general maintenance such as weekly mowing, weedeating, pruning, blowing, and debris removal. We will also expertly perform upgrades to your existing landscape as well as installations for new construction.

I am so blessed to have a company that allows me to serve others and make them happy. My goal is to provide not just excellent services but to be known as providing superior customer service. At Wellspring Landscape Services every employee is trained so they provide excellent communication skills in addition to expert services. I hope if nothing else people describe me as honest. I am not perfect but do strive for perfection. I stand behind our work and will go to almost any length to make sure each client is totally satisfied.

Wellspring did an amazing job on my landscaping. They provided all healthy and well-​watered plants for my extensive landscape design (Double B Land Design). I saw some folks complaining about the growth of the company. First, they are growing because they are great. Second, I know that they have implemented a lot of technology last year to keep up with all the work. there will always be hiccups in that. For my project, work was performed on time and on budget. They are an honest and trustworthy company and it all starts at the top with Kirk the owner. They will do my next development project I hope.

The person who handled my contract put extra items on my contract. I only wanted my yard mowed. I asked about the items and informed I wasn’t ready. He assured we could discuss at a later date when I was ready. I didn’t have to do it then. I signed the contract and he went ahead and did the extra work then took from my account w/​out any further discussion. He said they did the work and took the money. Just be careful what you sign. He didn’t care that the amount wasn’t in my budget but he got me to Sign trusting we could decide when to do the work later.

AJ and Ben were excellent. They arrived when scheduled, were clean cut and professional, and were prepared with all types of equipment. They removed old shrubs and some overgrown prickly succulents. They reworked the bedding and mulch to make it look like nothing had been taken out.
I felt like I was working with a team who was as invested in the look of my landscape as I was. Rather than removing one of the plants I requested, they trimmed and cleaned it up to see if I liked it better. It was perfect, looked like a new plant and I’m really glad they didn’t just rip it out.
When they finished the work I had planned, they went further to weed a walkway, pick up leaves and do general cleaning in order to fill the time I had paid them for. Before they departed, they cleaned the area with a leaf blower and checked in to make sure I was satisfied. I could have not been more pleased and I highly recommend this company.

since moving from Houston we have had a difficult time finding a good lawn service that does more than mow and blow. Kirk and his team pays attention to details and does a lot more for your yard and landscape than every landscaping service we have found here in Lakeway. We have been thrilled to have a competent and knowledgeable team to service our rather complex landscape and yard. He was highly recommended to us by Angie’s List.

I like the owner and I like the service, but oh my has the company changed.
It’s grown fast so it’s not as easy as it was in the past to schedule service. That’s fine. It’s great to see a local company do well.
With that growth have come problems. I was double-​billed for leaf-​cleaning, once for $ 40 and again for $ 65 for the same service on the same day. I’ve had my gates left open on several occasions. Leaf collection was increasingly spotty. Unwanted services were performed — like having the lawn mowed instead of the leaves collected, for example. It can also take them a couple of months to bill your card.
They used to do such a spectacular job that I raved about them to my neighbors and friends. I guess I should have kept my mouth shut to keep them doing the same great job.
To their credit, the owner is a great guy and very concerned about quality service. However, as they’ve grown and hired more people, the service has declined.
The final interaction I had with them was taking them up on a «special offer» to aerate and fertilize my miniscule lawn. The initial bid was impossible to decipher so I had them send another. I accepted and they never did the work after a few weeks so I did it myself and cancelled that service ($ 300).
Right after I got an email from the owner essentially firing me as a client as they now want to focus on weekly clients.
That’s fine and dandy but I don’t get the point of offering a «special offer» if there’s not the capacity to fulfill the promised service.
I really liked this company and hope to have them back again. Let’s see. I have a lot of confidence in the owner to fix things.

We went through a long selection process for both major landscaping work and weekly maintenance. We chose Wellspring for both, and I’m happy we did.
The maintenance has been great with affordable pricing and reliable and very fast service.
The main things I liked about Kirk for the landscaping were his reasonable price and his apparent knowledge about what we needed to do and how to make it work best for us. But perhaps the most important was that he was responsive and reliable.
They just finished the work yesterday and it looks fantastic. His crew was very respectful and friendly, and he kept me up to date on weather delays, etc. Kirk also took care of some little things that were not specified in the bid but he likely felt were part of the process of improving the yard.
Overall we are very pleased with the work and will recommend Wellspring to our friends and neighbors.

I use wellspring for all my landscaping needs. They get the job done fast and the owner Kirk is very easy to deal with. I just came home to a fresh cut lawn that has been neglected for a few weeks. I am thinking about joining one of wellsprings plans.

I have been using Wellspring for several months now. They do a great job with the basics– mowing, edging, blowing. In addition, they helped replant some flower beds in my yard and also they have done tree trimming. The owner is very nice and really wants to make the customer happy. Very nice people to work with.
My only complaint, which is little, is that sometimes it can take a while for them to do their book keeping. (ex: sometimes they won’t charge your credit card until 2 – 3 weeks later and then you’ll have 2 – 3 weeks worth of charges all at once.) It’s not a huge deal though, and it won’t keep me from using their services.
