I have never dealt with such a professional, courteous and talented group of artisans. Miguel and his crew took our design and made it even better than we had hoped for. He was honest and and attended to every detail and concern we had. He and his masons put in a fairly complicated garden design. We were so pleased that we asked them to also put in our outdoor kitchen. (as you will see in the picture, we are to add the doors.). His pricing was extremely fair for the work they did. They were very concerned for our neighbors and made sure the sight was cleaned up every day before they left. I highly recommend Austin Yardbuilders and am so thankful to have found them.

Miguel and his team did a great job on our outdoor patio. His crew was punctual everyday and worked very hard to give us a great flagstone patio and stained pergola. My wife and I love the outcome. His crew worked hard everyday and are true craftsman. I would recommend Miguel to anyone needing any work done to their outdoors. We are going to be using him again in the future for our outdoor kitchen. Thank you Miguel for all your hard work.

My wife drove my car and ran into the middle pole of our garage door. At the beginning I thought it is not a big task to replace those broken bricks. But when I saw Miguel and his masons worked on that, it is really a meticulous work and needs high professional skills. When I showed the result to my friends, many of them asked for Miguel’s contact (If someones are calling you recently, they are my reference^_^). I strongly recommend Miguel to everybody, and want to thank you and your masons again for your guys hard work in that hot day!

Miguel and his men did a great job on our front path, which had previously had a botched repair to the concrete. I asked him to match some bricks which had been laid in another part of the yard and the finished job looks as though it has always belonged there, beautifully enhancing the front of our home. Miguel was prompt with his bid, which was fair, and kept me updated as to when he would be able to start work. His crew were quick and friendly and cleared up the yard before leaving.

We hired Miguel to build a patio with a fireplace for our backyard. He did not disappoint! The entire project took about two weeks. The outcome was way better than we expected. The fireplace is beautiful! We can’t wait for the weather to get colder so we can use it. The patio looks amazing as well. His workers spent long hours at our house and when the project was completed they came back and cleaned up our yard. If you watch enough HGTV, you will know hiring someone to do such a big job can be tricky. We can’t say enough good things about Miguel. He and his team did an amazing job! We would recommend him to our friends and family.

I called Austin Yard Builder because of it’s reviews on Unilocal.Thank you Unilocal for providing and avenue for people like me to find someone like Miguel! I had some stones that were not being used… enough to build a fire pit. I asked a couple of people I knew if they could build a fir pit for me out of the materials I already had. They both said no. So, I ended up on Unilocal and found Miguel. He looked at the pictures of the stones I sent him, set an appointment with me, and gave me a very fair quote to not only build the fire pit, but take out a concrete slab that was an eye sore in our backyard and add on to our existing porch. His crew showed up at 7:45AM both mornings ready to work and finished the job in two days! I was on a tight schedule, as this was a surprise for my husband, and he worked around my schedule and gave me exactly what I wanted! Very professional and great work. My husband was beside himself when he got home!

Miguel and his crew just completed a large outdoor kitchen project for my wife and I. From the first time he came out to bid the job, I got the feeling that he would work hard on our project and give us a fair price. He never let me down.
They installed around 1,000 SF of all natural stone that we had collected and stacked on our property over the last few years. The results were incredible. They are true artists with stone.
I would not hesitate to recommend Miguel for any project that needs quality masonry at reasonable prices.

Am new to area so depended on Unilocal to steer me to good contractors. I needed a new flagstone patio to replace the tiny concrete slab that existed. Miguel was everything I hoped for. First and foremost, he is trustworthy. This is important to me as a 73 year old retired woman. He did what he said he would and did it when he said he would. He also suggested a stairstep approach, which greatly enhanced the eye appeal of the patio and did not add to the price. I contacted two other contractors, and Miguel’s price was the best by far. The workman who cut the flagstone was a marvel to watch — such workmanship! After the patio was laid, Miguel came back several weeks later to seal the flagstone, just like he said he would. I highly recommend him and his team, especially if you want to trust your contractor to do right by you.

We contacted Miguel as well as several other companies to extend our patio and add a pergola. A few didn’t even bother to call me back. Miguel was quick to respond, provided a quick turnaround time with his estimate and was willing to work with us regarding our budget.
Once we agreed on the price he was able to start in a few days, he and his crew always showed up as promised, worked from about 7:30 AM to 6ish PM every day and his communication was outstanding.
The finished product was amazing! He ended up doing more detail and effort then I thought of. His ideas were exactly what we had in mind and now that the project is over we could not thing of one single complaint.
We highly recommend Miguel and his crew for any masonry and pergola work as we could not have asked for a better product combined with his competitive pricing.

Called Miguel to see about some landscaping on my front yard. He was very prompt in coming out to look at it and give me a bid. The work entailed removing a lot of ground cover and bushes and putting mulch, stone and stonework border and his bid was fair. He had to delay the work by a couple of days but was very good about texting and giving me a new date. He and his workers showed up on the day promised and completed the work in two days. The stonework/​mulch looks awesome and I’m really pleased with the results!
