Weird Window Cleaning

I called a few window cleaning services, noting that I had a near-​term, tight deadline for cleaning exterior windows with a hard stop. Some companies said they could accommodate it, some said they could not. Weird Window Cleaning said no problem, «our tech will be by around 2pm.» He showed up at 5pm, clearly exhausted from a full day of work, and I actually felt bad for the guy seeing how tired he looked. Within 30 minutes of when he started on a window and he became ill, probably from mild heat stroke, and almost passed out. We gave him water, let him rest inside our house, and told him not to worry about it– we could just resume tomorrow.
The next morning we were supposed to start between 6−7am, per a phone call with the manager (to catch up on time and work when it was cooler out). The gentleman showed up after 9am, which is a normal start time (especially after being so ill), but I was at home waiting during the window the manager stated. Clearly a miscommunication. I also was hoping they would have sent a different gentlemen to let this one rest, as he clearly needed it.
He cleaned the exterior as quickly and thoroughly as he could (and it looked nice), but by the afternoon on the second day we are several hours past the agreed completion time, so I concluded the job. He did not have time to complete the interior sides of the windows, but the manager still charged full window clean price.
This review has nothing to do with the tech, as he was a very kind, hard working individual. I really liked him and would use him again. This is about the manager/​owner. Overall, I think the manager needs to be much more realistic with scheduling. If you say you CAN do the job, then do it– you’re on the hook at that point. If you are unsure, do not say you can just to try to win business. Setting the appropriate expectations of timing (for both arrival and completion) will go a long way in customer happiness. Joseph just left the house after doing all our windows inside and out and the screens as well. He was on time, very courteous and respectful of our property. He worked diligently the entire time he was here and finished the job in the amount of time he had estimated. The windows are sparkling, awesome! Our dogs loved him too!

As a long time Austinite I thought I would give Weird Window cleaning a try. Great name and great service. Joseph gave me an estimate and Rudy came out to do the work. Rudy is very proficient at window cleaning and two story homes pose no challenge for him. He worked quickly and efficiently. I’m very pleased and my home looks so much brighter. No doubt will use their service again in the future.

Joseph came to my home to give me a quote — I thought it was quite competitive. We scheduled a time for him to come clean my windows. He did a very thorough job — the windows looked great — inside & out. He cleaned out my window seals from the inside (wasn’t expecting that) and returned my furniture near the windows he cleaned. Overall, he did a great job — in the end, his quote was what I paid. I’ll definitely use Joseph again & have already recommend him to my neighbors.

This is the second time I used Weird Window Cleaning to clean the interior and exterior windows of my home. Windows turned out beautiful! Clean, shiny and sparkling. Joseph was friendly, punctual, and reasonably priced considering the number of windows involved and the time it took to complete the job.

Joseph has cleaned our windows twice now and has done an excellent job both times. He cleans the windows, inside and out, and all the window screens with excellent attention to detail.
