VOM FASS is the premier specialty retailer of the world’s finest gourmet olive oils, nut oils and seed oils, balsamic vinegars, vinegars, spirits, liquors, liqueurs, and wines. Our exceptionally knowledgeable staff offers our patrons a unique experience filled with old world charm, stellar customer service, and a tasting experience outside the grasp of any other retailer.

Our product line is exclusive to VOM FASS and although other shops may carry similar product lines no one else in the marketplace brings together a collection of extra virgin olive oils, infused extra virgin olive oils, nut oils, seed oils, cooking oils, wellness oils, aceto balsamico (balsamic vinegars), fruit vinegars, raw un-​aged vinegars, aged red wine vinegar, aged sherry vinegar, absinthe, grappa, Armagnac, cognac, calvados, gin, vodka, rum, brandy, eau de vie, whiskey, whisky, Scotch, liqueurs, and wines. We also carry a full line of dry food goods including spices, salts, pesto, and two local pastas. All of our products make can gift-​wrapped and would make great hosted gifts. We have premade gift sets and gift baskets. What makes our business model so unique is the fact that the whole line of products is available for tasting prior to purchase.

History

Established in 2012.

From the picturesque village of Waldburg, Germany (Lake Constance District), the Kiderlen family began importing wine from South Tyrol, Italy, in the early 1960’s. Twenty five years later, a wine business in Biberach, Germany was acquired and the sales of bulk goods from barrels was started. Now our partners sell products from the cask, to order, all over the world. Now we bring this unique concept to Austin, TX.

I am so honored to be able to bring these incredible products from all over the world and present them to the Austin market. I am a family taught, thanks mom, cook and a total foodie. I love coming up with new recipes and sharing them with our customers. It really is cool seeing some ones face light up when they try a product for the first time. Come in and try something new! I can also talk shop with you all day.
