I’ve had good dry cleaning here in the past. At the recommendation of a friend, I brought five new sport jackets here to have the sleeves altered and buttons added. They were to be completed last Friday, but I showed up today(Tuesday) – half were«not ready yet.» These are the sloppiest most shoddy alternations I have EVERSEEN, and they charged me $ 170! The buttons were sewed on THROUGH the jacket lining, a no-no, and the sleeves were left frayed on the inside. When I complained about the crooked buttons and sloppy sewing, I was told that the buttons were sewed on the coat to «make you more comfortable.» Absolute poppycock. I was told the tailor would redo the jackets, but I feared it would only be worse. No refund was offered. DONOTGETALTERATIONSDONEHERE. My experience was terrible; look at my photos. These jackets cost hundreds of dollars; I’m not sure if a more professional tailor can fix the problem.

Solid dry cleaner. Good alterations. Nice people. Never had an issue.

Every experience I have had with Victoria’s Cleaners has been outstanding. On more than one occasion, I have come in with a complex request – get this stain out, wash this article of clothing a specific way, make this shirt fit my weird body – and I have always walked away satisfied. Fantastic service and attention to detail. This is in contrast to certain«chain» cleaners that often don’t treat the customer well, and are very rigid about what they are willing to do for you.

I’ve used this place for years for cleaning, laundry and alterations and I’ve never had a problem with them. My clothes have always come back in great condition and they have never lost or damaged anything, which is more than I can say for a couple of other places. The owners are always nice also.

I took in a brand new jacket to be dry cleaned and discovered a couple days later that the clasp at the front had fallen off and the leather was peeling off. I took it back to show them and they said they’d fix it. Two weeks later, I went in because I hadn’t heard anything and they hadn’t even touched it. On top of it all the owner was incredibly rude and seems to barely speak English. I went back another two weeks later to pick it up again(once again, didn’t even bother to call to tell me it was done) and the new clasp wasn’t even remotely similar to what it was before and looked terrible. I asked for my dry cleaning money back and to be reimbursed for the cost of the garment since it was new and never worn and the owner refused, not once apologized, and forced me out the door. I’ve never written one of these reviews before but the customer service was so bad I felt it necessary to warn you — DON’T GOTHERE!!! It seems like I’m not the only person they’ve done this to. I’d give zero stars if I could and will be reporting them to the BBB.

This place doesn’t deserve even one star. I dropped off a garment, never worn, for alterations and pressing, and when I picked it up, it was ruined. The garment would have looked better had I used it to mop up my dog’s urine. Even professionals make mistakes sometimes, I get that, but to be treated so horribly after bringing the poor job to their attention was the worst part. If you make a mistake, own up to it and try to make it right; don’t make me feel like it is MY fault that YOU did a poor job! I agree with the below poster about some rookie mistakes like using the wrong hangers for items and allowing colors to bleed. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they were looking for a place to ruin their ex-lover’s clothing.

I don’t even know how to begin, my wife brought a dress in for alterations and dry cleaning. She needed it for a wedding(maid of honor) the following week. When she got the dress back she noticed that it had stains on the front and scratches! This dress was 200 $ and in perfect conditions before bringing it in! She argued with the owner who told her that it wasn’t her fault but the dresse’s!!! That it had almost stained other client’s clothes and that she wasn’t responsible. My wife reluctantly requested her to fix(timeframe was too short to find another place). A few days later the dress was«ready». It was worse than before, she had not only added stains but also scratches. The dress was held by a hanger with clips which left marks in the fabric… They refused any settlement or reimbursement apart from reimbursing the 9.95 $ dry cleaning fee!!! We’ve used them for 2 years now due to convenience but I also have to report black stains on my shirts which were the result of their old machinery and never reimbursed. Despite the convenience we’ll not go there anymore.

I am surprized at the other reviews, because I have been going to this dry cleaners regularly in my neighborhood for almost 5 years now, and I have had nothing but good experiences with the dry cleaning, wash laundry and alterations.(And I have no relationship of any kind with owners or the business) They have gone out of their way to handle difficult cleaning jobs on antique materials, bad stains on professional clothes, requests for rush jobs, etc. Their alterations have been very professional. They have given me good advice on immediate action I can take when I get spills on clothes, etc. I feel like the personal attention is excellent, and neighbors I have referred there have also been pleased.

Worst cleaners I have ever been to. I took five shirts to be laundered and four of them came back with cracked or shattered buttons on the cuffs. I have had these and other shirts laundered many many times before and never had to deal with anything like this. I took the shirts back to the cleaners and they offered to replace the buttons, but notably did not say they were sorry or that they would do anything to make sure this didn’t happen again. When I came back to pick up the shirts, I found that they had replaced one of the buttons with a button that had obviously fallen off someone else’s shirt(with the black paint displaying the brand name worn half-way off), and the rest of the buttons were replaced with the cheapest possible opaque white buttons that did not come close to matching the rest of the buttons on the shirt. At this point, I am just going to buy some buttons that match and replace them myself. It’s clear to me that the people who run this place do not care at all about the customer’s clothing or the quality of the work done there. I will not return.

I just moved and needed a neighborhood dry cleaner. I had a dress I needed pressed for a wedding. I wanted very light starch but when I told the woman behind the counter, she told me «No. NOSTARCH!» I’ve had this dress pressed before, with no starch but I wanted the press to hold in longer than it did before. But when she told me no, I thought maybe, being in the business she knew something I didn’t. When I asked, she didn’t explain. Then when she was making up the ticket she asked me if I wanted starch. Geez. When I got my dress back, it looked fine, but after an hour in the car traveling, it was wrinkled and I had to use some wrinkle releaser before I could put it on for the event. I won’t be going back.

Sent a dress here and it looked as if they never touched it. I felt this place was way too over priced and lacked cleaning methods. I really should be going to an eco-mat, but oh well I got what I paid for, NOT!
