Agree with Stuart T. that Bob must have closed. Drove by there today and the only thing remaining was a few picnic tables and the small brick patio.

I am a BBQ fan… quite simply, this is the best and in an unlikely spot. On North feeder road 183 North of Spicewood Springs between the Marriott and before the I FLY tower… it is hard to find… modern food truck… moist and flavorful… I have had the ribs and brisket so far. This compares well with any BBQ I have had anywhere.

A really good setup for a BBQ trailer. The brisket sandwich was everything you’d want: tender brisket with a good amount of smoke piled high on a toasted bun. We’re not talking Franklin here, but it was tasty. Remember to ask for the BBQ sauce on the side. It’s a sticky sweet molasses tomato thing that could have come from a bottle.
Today’s side options were fries and corn on the cob. The fries had an interesting spice on them, quite tasty, while the corn was basically butter flavored.
This place needs more business, he’s struggling to promote and it’s on a drive-​by section of road. In the 30ish minutes I took to order and finish eating, not one other person stopped in. I would recommend it as a good option for BBQ in North Austin.

Live just around the corner. It’s a really convenient location. Staff was very friendly. I really must say it’s probably amongst the better BBQ places in the area. It’s still newer so I know it’ll get better and improve over time. But I was presently surprised.

I have been to Uncle Bob’s for their special of the day on several occasions. I consider myself to be a harsh food critic and each time I have been pleasantly surprised by the amazing food quality and the variety. If you are in the area and want a delicious lunch, you can’t beat this place!
