History
Established in 2014.
Hello, my name is Mark Carter. I am the owner of This Lil’ Dog of Mine Pet services. This company was inspired by my dog, Ore, a 4-year-old rescue dog. She was rescued by friends after being found under a house uncared for, and flea infested. I never imagined that Ore would change my life for the better. Like most owners, I work a full-time job that requires me to be away from home up to eight hours a day. I often find it hard to coordinate a good time to take Ore to the vet or groomer because most places are closed on the weekend. Like many, I felt bad when I had to leave my pet, so I decided to open, This Lil’ Dog of Mine Pet Services. We are an affordable reliable company that the everyday person can turn to.

Business Owner
Hello, my name is Mark Carter. I am the owner of This Lil’ Dog of Mine Pet services. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a master of Science in Applied Ethology with a focus in animal behavior and well-being. While spending six years of my college experience in animal research, I gained valuable firsthand experience and knowledge of animal care and well-being. I believe my diverse experience with livestock, companion animals, and exotic animals, has prepared me for a career in the animal care industry. In addition to my academic and research experience, I have developed a vast array of specialized skills. I have had the pleasure of working at the Austin Animal Center, where I gained valuable knowledge of the shelters system, animal behavior, and how to safely handle animals. While working there, I better understand the needs and wants of the community.
