Best Pedicure I have ever had! First time here and this will be my place to go. She knows what she is doing…, quality and service and environment were top notch.

The best pedicure I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is very relaxing. Lorilyn has a very pleasant and welcoming personality. Her attention to detail was very impressive. The pricing is about the same as regular nail salons, but the experience is 10 times better than anything I’ve experienced anywhere else.

After two bad experiences of uncleanliness at a well known high end day spa here in Austin, I knew I had to find a new pedicurist. Lorilyn is great. Her studio is clean, she’s courteous and does perfect work. I fell asleep during my foot massage. It was that relaxing!
The only thing is your first time there, the door to the building is locked. Lorilyn will meet you at the door.
I’ll be coming back. I highly reccommend!

I loved this place! The paint job itself (I got a pedicure) was average/​good, but the personal attention was really the star feature for me.
I was able to make an appointment for a same day treatment (it was called the deluxe pedicure, I think), was met at the door of the building so I didn’t have to find my way to the right suite (it seems like it would be hard to find on your own), and then loved the actual experience. It’s just the one chair so I felt really focused on. She took her time, too, which was lovely (not all places do), and was patient with my calloused dancer feet!
All in all, I felt very pampered for an affordable price. I’ll be back!

I was lucky enough to hear about Lorilyn and The Sanctuary from my sister, who gets pedicures here. I finally went in for my first (of many in the years to come) pedicure last week and it was beyond amazing.
In the past, my pedicures usually went something like this: walk into the very crowded, noisy strip mall salon, wait for one of the nail technicians to notice me, have them tell me to write my name on a list, sit and flip through a months old magazine while I waited, usually with some stranger’s kids running by, finally get to a chair where they are still cleaning the tub from the last person, receive the standard, nothing special pedicure from the technician who is chit-​chatting with her coworker, listening to the movie playing on the television, or the 90s pop music playing, or the woman next to me talking on her cell phone, be rushed out of the chair, pay and be on my way. At the end of it all, a special treat for myself that should be relaxing ends up being one of the least relaxing parts of my day.
With Lorilyn, my experience was the exact opposite. Let me take you through the amazingness that is The Sanctuary:
1.) An abundance of free, shady parking. On South Lamar. Practically unheard of in this city.
2.) A serene, quiet private studio with one chair for you and only you. Yes, that’s right: your nail appointment is all about you. There is no waiting list, no waiting area with old magazines, nobody’s unruly children, no lady on her cell phone, no television. Just peace and quiet.
3.) The chair is not one of those big weird chairs with the spa tub attached. Yes, you lose the massage chair option, but I’m skeptical of how clean those jets get in the spa tubs. Lorilyn has a portable tub sans jets, and I trust it is much cleaner and sanitary.
4.) There was wine and fabulous relaxing music.
5.) The actual pedicure part was nothing short of magical. My nails cut and shaped to my preferences, calluses removed and smoothed, lotion and hot towels, a ridiculously good massage, and meticulous polish application.
I honestly cannot picture myself ever returning to a run of the mill nail salon. And I’m not sad about that at all. I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Lorilyn right away.

I continue to be amazed by Lorilyn’s fabulous expertise in nail treatments, and it is my pleasure to recommend her as enthusiastically as possible. Her pride in her work shines through, and her talent in resolving typical minor foot issues is impressive. What’s more, I am confident that if you compare the quality of her nail care and her prices to others in Austin and beyond, you will be highly impressed and happy to find such a great deal.

I especially enjoy Lorilyn’s «sanctuary» setting – private, comfortable, attractive. Her spa allows you to relax without the distraction of chatter from other customers or their nail techs. Nice!

Had the super deluxe pedicure here (forget the name) and it was wonderful. Lorilyn’s space is comfortable and private and the experience is professional through and through, unlike the strip mall nail places. And I checked – the prices for the regular pedicure are only a buck or two more than those other assembly line pedicures you get at those other places. Can’t see any excuse to not come here for every pedicure.
Can’t recommend Sanctuary Nail Spa any more.

Lorilyn is delightful! I got a mani pedi and everything was super relaxing and pleasant. She gave me some great nail care advice and my manicure is perfect (and I’m almost never 100% happy with a manicure!). She is also priced very reasonably. I have found my new nail salon!

Lorilyn is fantastic! She is welcoming and friendly; the ambiance is relaxing and she has some toe-​painting skills! Honestly, before I met her, I rarely painted my toes, but now, I have a whole new love for my feet– seriously! Last time I was in, she also introduced me to her henna treatments– what a treat! Overall, my experience with Lorilyn has been fabulous!

Just had a pedicure at Sanctuary Nail Spa yesterday– it was awesome! Lorilyn is a truly nurturing person and she is dedicated to creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for her clients. When she massaged my legs I seriously almost fell asleep. My feet and toes look and feel beautiful and her prices are also very reasonable.
The spa is on the second floor in the far back corner of the building. There is a door at the end of the building that opens to a stairway that goes directly to her door. This is probably easier than using the main entrance, which might be locked.
