History

Established in 1965.

Texas Sailing began as a sailing school and has grown substantially over the years. Robert and Tasha purchased the business in 2000. Early in their ownership, they added the US Sailing certification school offering Basic Keelboat, Basic Cruising, Bareboat Cruising, and Coastal Navigation certifications, the Beneteau Yacht Sales and the Precision sailboat line. In 2010, they moved the Texas Sailing office into the Lakeway Resort & Spa where they are able to offer exceptional crewed sail packages to anyone interested in the intriguing sport.

Business Owner

Robert has been sailing close to twenty years and has worked for sailing businesses for over fifteen years. He began working for Texas Sailing in 1996 as the head instructor and rigger/​service tech.
