I have serious anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist. And because of this i have not visited the dentist for about 10 years or so because of the anxiety and i was quick to communicate this to Dr. Sean. He assured me that he would take care of my dental situation with no or minimal pain. He is a man of his word. Words cannot describe how great I felt after my first, second and third visit with him, his hygienist and support staff. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly. And although my current dental insurance is not accepted at his office, he will be my dentist from now on.

I have MAJOR anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist; following a traumatic incident that happened several decades ago when I was a child, I’ve always harbored an intense fear and mistrust of people who come near my mouth with sharp metal instruments. I was told about two years ago that I needed to get my wisdom teeth out, but kept putting it off until finally they grew out of the gums and began running into my other teeth. The pain that came was so unbearable that I finally decided I couldn’t put it off any longer. I had just moved back to Austin not too long ago and received a flyer in the mail about Tech Ridge Dental, and started looking into a good place to get my wisdom teeth out. I had heard enough horror stories about dry socket and crappy dentists who did a terrible job with this procedure, so I was a bit worried. However, everything I’ve ever read about this place was so stellar, I scheduled a consultation appointment.
From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this was a very well-​kept, professional setting. Their lobby had comfortable chairs, water and a Keurig, free Wi-​Fi, even a computer you could use. Everyone was SO incredibly nice and addressed everyone who walked in by name. In the actual treatment area, there really wasn’t anything they hadn’t thought of. There was an ottoman to put belongings on, sunglasses so the light doesn’t get in your eyes, even TVs installed on the ceiling. Dr. Sean was very thorough and patient as he explained what the procedure would look like, addressed all of my questions, and assured me that I would be given everything to prevent me from feeling a thing during the procedure.
On the day of the procedure, I was extremely nervous! But, Mercedes was very calm and made sure I was comfortable, even offering me a blanket after I took the triazolam and ibuprofen. That was actually the last thing I remembered of the procedure, which is exactly what I wanted. After getting home, the first couple of days were quite uncomfortable but I healed very quickly. I felt like my healing time was a lot quicker than what a lot of other people warned me! By the third day or so, I started eating solid food again (in tiny bite sized pieces and only using my front teeth, of course!) and by the time I went back for my follow-​up appointment, I was eating normally and felt 100% better. On the second day after my procedure, Dr. Sean even called to check up on me.
During my follow-​up appointment, Danielle was very nice and explained to me how to make sure food didn’t get into the back of my mouth. It was a very quick appointment, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
Overall, I think this place is fantastic. Their professionalism, customer service, and friendliness all deserve 5 stars on top of the great job they did with my bothersome wisdom teeth! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dentist in the Austin area.

I hate the dentist SO much! The smells, sounds, everything is horrible. But Minnie, the front desk staff, and all of the hygienists are so amazing! They are more than accommodating and are willing to go the extra mile for you! They have TVs during your procedures, and are happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Thank you so much Minnie!

So, I haven’t been to the dentist in five years. I was a little bit hesitant about going to the dentist in general. Today was my first day at Tech Ridge Dental.
When I first walked in the door, Lindsey’s bright red hair and big smile. She was very friendly and took care of my insurance paper work right away. I couldn’t help but notice how clean nice this office looked.
My hygienist, Kim was very thorough with my cleaning and really took the time to show me how to care for my teeth. I could tell that she really cares for her patients.
Then Dr. Minnie came did my consultation. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions, and I had a ton. She was very patient and made sure that I was comfortable with all the treatments options. I would recommend her to anyone.
At the end of the consultation, Ken helped figure out insurance and my payment options. He made sure I knew exactly how much I was going to need for everything and made sure I was in budget.
Overall, 5 stars experience. I am looking forward to coming back and fixing my teeth.

Every person I encountered just couldn’t have been nicer… they really make you feel like a friend! They are extremely thorough and efficient. Dr. Sean was incredibly kind, understanding, and thorough during my first visit there. It was actually set up as a brief visit to discuss one particular issue, but after talking, they recognized that I needed a more thorough exam. They didn’t hesitate to make the change and take the time to do what was needed! I’m so, so happy to have found such a nice and professional place to make the whole dental experience a little less terrible :) Y’all rock!

The entire team here is amazing. Very friendly staff, techs and dentists. They explained all my medical needs and talked me through all my options, discussed what was covered through my insurance and what would be out of pocket, and encouraged me to do my own research before scheduling anything. I’ve never had a dentist that actually encouraged me to be part of my healthcare before. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Sean Ma, Dr. Minhha Ma, and the whole team at Tech Ridge Dental are the best. From scheduling to treatment planning, they’re thorough and transparent in their explanations. Highly recommend.

I have pretty severe dental anxiety due to some bad experiences at other dentist offices. Start to finish the entire staff at Tech Ridge Dental did their very best to put me at ease and make the experience as pleasant as possible. I will no longer visit any other dentist!

Minnie and her team are great. They got me in so quickly and were able to schedule my follow up appointment within a week after my initial visit. The procedure was long, but with the help and knowledge of the staff it wet great. Going to dentist is never fun– but they make it as pleasurable as it can be.
Even the people at the front desk were awesome. They checkout process was very easy to understand and they were nice and quick to assist.

I have been terribly afraid of the dentist most of my life. No more. After a couple of visits to see Dr. Minnie Ma, I’m in awe of her skill, kindness and compassionate manner.
She and Mercedes put me completely at ease, and did a surgical procedure that I have been putting off for years. I still have more to be done, but I no longer fear the dentist, and I’m looking forward to getting all of my issues resolved.
It’s a shame that I can only give 5 stars…

Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! Both doctors are friendly and cooperative. They know what insurance will/won’t cover & that people just can’t drop $$$$ on taking care of problem areas preventatively. The administrative staff (I’m looking at you, Ken!) is also super friendly & professional.
I will absolutely find a different doctor or dentist if the office staff isn’t happy to have me as a customer, so you know this dentist has it all if I’m writing a review.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very friendly and polite staff. They are very personable and treat you as if you were a friend. The place is clean and neat and welcoming.
I loved the dentist and the teeth cleaning professional. They address every issue and show you what they are doing and what you need to know.
They keep you informed about the appointments and remember you more than you do yourself.
Basically a very transparent business with employees that have amazing interpersonal skills. It is a very hard thing to find these days.

Dr Shawn worked on my right side upper and lower teeth. It took almost 3 hours. He was awesome. He called twice the day after to check up on me.
They are very professional and caring.

My whole family has been going to Dental Tech Ridge for almost a year now. After having my first child, I was kind of slacking off on going to the dentist and was not thrilled to schedule my first visit after almost 2 years. As a result, I had numerous issues, some minor, some major that needed to be addressed.
I have always been so terrified of going to the dentist all my life due to some bad childhood experience. But Dr. Minnie and her staff at Tech Ridge changed it all. I never experienced any pain from any procedures performed by her. She was extremely nice, attentive and her understanding of my fear has made my experience very comfortable.
I highly recommend Tech Ridge Dental and Dr. Minnie to everyone.
