Tambaleo Apartments Austin

I’ve had a really great experience at 2207. The office staff (Jessica) and the maintenance staff is the quickest I’ve ever seen, and I’ve lived in a lot of apartments over the years. Adulfo fixes anything and everything, no matter how big or small, and my pup is free to hang on the couch while he does so (I’m usually at work). Jessica is so friendly, and as someone who used to work in a similar role, I know she has to deal with upset residents sometimes. Yet, she is always kind, understanding, professional, and most importantly, does her job very well. Our grounds are ALWAYS clean. Even if residents leave a mess or do not clean up from a night on the patio, it’s picked up by staff in a timely manner.
It also is the most «open» apartment I’ve ever lived in, as most residents must walk by my door to get to their apartment, and non-​residents from the street could potentially come to my door. I travel for work often, so safety is a priority for me. I feel very safe at Tambaleo, and feel confident that my belongings are safe while I’m away.
I’m coming up on my one-​year, and was really happy to see my rent didn’t increase at all — which has never happened to me ANYWHERE in ANY city, much less at such an awesome location in the fastest-​growing city in the country.
They take care of your residents, which is hard to find in the world of renting. I moved back to Austin in May after being away for a few years, unsure of how I would adjust to the changes the city has gone through. Tambaleo has helped me and my pup, Stella, feel at home again. I believe in giving credit where credit is due — and I’ve had an amazing experience. Big props to Jessica for managing our property. She does a really, really great job. Looking forward to another year at 2207 S. 5^th!

I’ve been living here for about a year and half and absolutely love it. I completely echo the other reviewer, management is fantastic and maintenance requests really are promptly acknowledged and resolved. The apartments are also very nicely finished and a great size for the price and location. I was really surprised to find out how cheap the apartment was relative to the awesome location and not feeling crammed in a tiny apartment. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone and am sad that I’ll have to move out when my lease is up.

I’ve been living here for about 8 months and have been really impressed with the management company and especially the staff specific to this complex! Jessica Slaven the office manager is a lovely person and super helpful and the maintenance guys are ON IT and friendly especially Adolfo! They are super super prompt about getting back to you about maintenance requests and this morning I had a new fridge delivered in horrible weather less than 24 hours after making my request (AND after telling them it was NOT an emergency). They are really dog friendly and do not support breed bans and even kindly welcomed my foster dog:) nice place and nicer people.
