Specially Designed Travel focuses on cruises and tours. We work with all major cruise lines as well as some you may not know about. We help plan ocean and river cruises all over the globe. We also focus on tours. Whether you want to tour independently or with a group, we can find the right tour for you. If you prefer to experience the culture of a location and do a lot of hiking or biking, we can help. If you prefer to sit back, let someone do the driving and carry our luggage while you vacation in luxurious surroundings, we can assist with that also.

History

Established in 2014.

Specially Designed Travel started in 2014. Travel has been a long time passion of the owners, Tina and Stephen Shands. Helping others make memories and share the joy of travel led Tina to begin actively working as a Travel Agent in June 2014.

Over the course of the year, Specially Designed Travel has focused on cruises and tours for clients. Whether it is a couple traveling or a group of 10 traveling together, Specially Designed Travel can help. Specially Designed Travel has recently (summer 2015) transferred locations from Downtown Austin to South Austin. Location, however, is not a factor for most clients. While most business is handled by phone or e-​mail, Tina does like to meet clients «face-​to-​face» at least once. These meetings are often held in a coffee shop or restaurant near the client’s home or office.
