Business Owner
Specializing in sports medicine and general orthopedics, Dr. Scott Welsh received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude. He received his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Michigan State University and his fellowship training in sports medicine at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Welsh has served as a team physician for the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, Saint Leo University, Western Michigan University, and several high schools in the Tampa area. Dr. Welsh has conducted research projects on ACL injuries and shoulder dislocations. He has lectured at national sports medicine conferences and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
