I took Jana’s CPR class along with a dozen other teachers and staff at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. What can I say? Jana is humorous and intelligent and made the class fun and enjoyable. Two thumbs up for a great way to learn about a serious subject!

I had actually signed up for another CPR class called CPR Rescue Buddies with Greg through the AHA website. When I showed up for the class, he never showed. I found Jana’s information through the AHA website and called her. I told her what had happened and she was so nice and helpful, she offered to teach me a class the next day. When I showed up at her house, she was so warm and kind. The kind of person you just can’t help but to instantly like. Her house was beautiful and comfortable, it was a very inviting environment. I was the only one there and she went through the class with just me. She’s a great teacher! I would highly recommend taking your next BLS renewal through Jana!

I needed to get my CPR certification fast for Nursing School and was looking for a good CPR course. The website for Sav-​A-​Heart said they did the HealthCare Provider classes on Tuesdays in Austin. I e-​mailed on Saturday and they got back to me on Saturday to let me know the class was going to be on Sunday this week.
Sunday? Really? All I want to do is go hang out in some commercial office room under some fluorescents on my Sunday morning. I was not stoked, but really needed the certification fast.
So Sunday I head out to the course location, which is in Steiner Ranch so get up early. I am following directions on my i-​Phone when I realize that the location, which is 400ft away has got to be in someone’s home. It was. And the home is beautiful and clean and cozy.
Jana answers the door with a bubbly smile and immediately makes you feel like a welcome guest in her home. She had hazelnut flavored coffee and delicious kolaches available. She even went around refilling our coffees while we watched the videos.
There were only four of us in attendance so the class when pretty quick comparatively. And she is a great instructor too, which really is the most important part I guess. Asking questions of us all the whole time to make sure we are absorbing the details of the material.
There are a lot of places and people in town teaching CPR, do yourself a favor and take it at Jana’s house.
