Offering the best in European style facials, microdermabrasion, gel peels, full body waxing, deep tissue massage, lash tinting, brow tinting, and eyelash extensions, our team of dedicated spa specialists is ready to provide you with a fresh look.

There’s also a quaint little salon housed inside of Sabia. Our hair stylists are experts! They perform women and men’s haircuts, color, balayage technique, hair extensions, keratin treatments, bridal undo’s and shampoo/​blow dry services.

Established in 1994.

Sabia began as a tiny and quaint apothecary style shop. We specialized in all-​natural, organic, high-​quality skin, hair, body care and essential oils. Since then we have evolved to include hand-​picked sundries from around the world. We also offer full hair, skin and body services to beautify.

This is a really fun place to shop! My initial draw was the fact that they are the only store in Austin that carries Tatine candles + they have a wide variety of Aesop and other cult lines that are harder to find (especially all in one place). They also carry some better known brands such as Skinceuticals and Oribe. A really well rounded selection.
The staff knows their stuff and they are super friendly.
I could go nuts in here… =)

Austin was recently rated in the 2015 National Geographic as the 3rd fastest growing cities, and you will constantly see articles of the Top Ten must see, must do, must eat from Austin. Occasionally you also come across one of those delightful articles where you truly hear about something that those of us who are born and raised here have always known.
KRISTIN YARMER, who has made her multi-​hued splash at Sabia as one of Austin’s Best Colorists as well as Best Stylist is just such a truly Texan, utterly Austin unicorn. I do not think that there is any salon more centrally located, with a more dedicated front scheduling staff, where you can walk away with that feeling of loving your stylist, your salon, and knowing that lovely feeling of knowing you just got pampered!

I love Sabia! More importantly, I LOVE DEBBIE! She is hands down the BEST gal to go to for all your skin care/​waxing needs. I have been seeing her for many many years and I could not be more happy. I had my appointment earlier this afternoon for a brazilian and she was literally done in 5 – 10 minutes! Quick, painless (as it can be), and very thorough (no stray hairs or wax left behind!). She is personable, professional, and passionate about what she does — and it shows. I highly recommend seeing her and would give her 10+ stars if I could!

These five stars are almost entirely for Sabia stylist, Amber. Still, I do love the quality, selection, and price of the products that Sabia carries.
Now, back to Amber. She is like a mystic snake charmer of curls. A quick snip here and there and suddenly your unruly, frizzy mess starts to coil perfectly, falling delicately, almost lazily around your face like, «Oh did I just accentuate your cheekbones? That’s nice.»
And, oh the color! Amber tenaciously fixed some awful silver highlights turned brass, and made me look like a natural blonde. It lasted all summer and beyond, and even with 2″ roots, I still get compliments. No brass.
A testament to this woman’s magical powers — when I moved away from Austin for a few years and returned to find her gone from her last salon, I cried. And then, I tracked her down like a coon hound. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I suggest you don’t either.

Lauren colors my hair. Just had it done recently, she is the most talented colorist I’ve ever found. I’m picky, critical and it’s never good enough. Until I found her. She makes it look so natural even I wonder if it’s me or the bottle I’m looking at!
My only ding, and hence the missing star is it’s extremely expensive. I understand, if I’m that happy I should be willing to pay it. I pay it willingly. I paid close to $ 200 for the first extremely intensive all-​over job, and that was a fair price for sure.
But a touch up of a few strands, even if yes, it’s the lighter than my natural color and she’s placing them artistically and all-​over root touch up with one color should not cost $ 180. For a root touch up and on occasion a few highlights either touched up or added.
I didn’t even pay that much in New York or Paris. Every major city where I’ve had my hair done, same i.e. highlights I always paid about $ 80 for a maintenence touch-​up. I’m not cheap. So yes, she is hands down the best, and I only go to her, but due to the extremely expensive root touch ups, I do my own, and then go to her less often than I would like.

I stumbled upon Sabia at the recommendation of a friend. It is now my go to place. I don’t even live in Austin, and I travel 3 ½ hours to get my hair cut and colored by Lauren. The staff is beyond amazing and super knowledgeable… and they put up with me running in late from being stuck in traffic coming into town. Lauren is extremely talented and eased the process of first-​time all over hair color. She did such a great job, I may or may not be hooked on coloring my hair now.
They use and sell Kevin Murphy products which I’ve fallen in love with.
A lil hard to find but easy access once you spot it!

I came here for my first facial in Austin and will definitely be back as a regular. I can’t recommend Emily enough. Her knowledge on product ingredients and how they affect your skin is absolutely superior.
I have hormonal acne and stingy/​sensitive skin and this facial gave me a dewy/​healthy look. Emily never pressured me to buy anything that she used. However, after seeing myself in the mirror I bought this anti-​microbial jojoba oil and I now swear by it. I can’t recommend this place enough.

There aren’t enough words to say how great my experience with Sabia was. I live in NYC but was getting married in Austin in early November and got a great recommendation from the Austin-​based florist we used. The stylist I got to work with was Lauren Phillips… she was absolutely amazing. She did a hair & makeup trial for my mom and I on the day of my rehearsal dinner at the salon and then came to my hotel in the morning before the wedding. She was so sweet, calming, adorable and beyond talented. She has an incredible background and knows products SO well. She made me feel glammed up and like the beautiful bride I was hoping to see myself as but still very natural and soft. I woke up on Sunday morning after the wedding thinking «where’s my hair & makeup?»…wishing I had booked Lauren for one more day while I was in town. I can’t wait to come back and visit and see them again!

Amazing! I’m from Southern California and was here for a visit. Used Unilocal!to find a recommendation for a facial on the spur of the moment. They did not have an opening, but instead of turning me away, they called Elizabeth and she came in early to accomodate me. ELIZABETH WAS FANTASTIC! Loved the organic products she used, but it was her touch that was magic. Soft and firm as appropriate depending on what she was doing. My only regret was that I only had 1 hour. I could have stayed another hour for the neck massage alone. My skin looed and felt soft and polished. My face no longer had the stress it had before I went in. I felt so positive as the day went on. What an attitude adjustment!
All of the people we warm and inviting. The salon, a little hidden behind the bike store, was quaint. The product «sale» was very informative, but the comment «I’ll write this down so you can look on the web and read more about it» exemplified the «no push» sales pitch. When she was done, she moved away from the products as if there was no expectation that I would buy anything, yet the pleasant general conversation continued. I almost had to beg to buy 1 of the 3 products she discussed.
I will be visiting every month or so and plan on coming to Sabia everytime rather than getting a facial at home where there are many 5 star salons within 5 miles from my house.

Like a few others, I was referred to Emily after trying to book an appointment with Angie.
I’ve had three underarm wax appointments with Emily, and am as happy as can be with her work! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Emily even sent me home today with a sample of a serum after we chatted about our battles with acne. And best of all, she is super fast!
Make sure to book an appointment early, especially if you need a weekend slot.
There is some street parking, and also a garage across the street.

Finally, a salon and stylist that get five stars on all accounts.
Regarding Sabia, it is clean and pretty and the staff are friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming without pretension. They carry gorgeous products with little review cards to guide you in the right direction. I am always greeted promptly and offered a beverage. Even Peanut, the darling dachshund, is a sweet bonus. Parking is on the street but readily available and free.
Kacy is my Hair Goddess. She is the real deal. Sweet and funny, an easy conversationalist but never too chatty. I adore her. She is prompt and professional. Her prices are fair and she earns every buck!
Key to a great haircut is good communication. Kacy is insightful with her scissors and gives a great description before cutting. She takes the time to get to know her clients and their lifestyles and incorporates a style regimen that suits.
Every visit Kacy takes the time to play with my hair and suss out what I am wanting, always making sure we’re on the same page. She is great at taking what I describe and showing me what my hair will do. She isn’t afraid to caution against an idea either. (For example, bangs will look great but with the humidity and heat of summer, think about leaving them longer with the option to pull them back… Good thing I heeded her advice!)
Kacy has never pushed a product which I appreciate; although I couldn’t resist the surf-​spray she let me try. Love it.
When I leave Sabia I feel like a million bucks, and have always been thrilled with my locks. In fact I feel like sending her a thank you note after each appointment :) Kacy is the BEST!

Having just moved from NYC, before that living in South Florida, and spending my summers in Aspen, I have had the opportunity to get facials at some of «the best» places by some of «the best» people. I had tried numerous other places in Austin, but could not find a top notch facial. Honestly, I was trying to get a facial from Angie at Blush when I fell upon Sabia and facial GENIUS Emily!
Angie, at Blush, was was booked for week so she told me to go to Emily at Sabia. She then proceeded to tell me that Emily actually trained her and I hence knew immediately that I would be in good hands. (note: I had never been to Angie but my friend, who I immensely trust, said she was great). I arrived at Sabia and it was wonderful from the first second I walked in. There was no waiting time, the facial was AWESOME, and the products GREAT (and I have had/​tried every «best» product in the book, these just felt different, she as using an Australian brand named Aesop and SkinCeuticals). I am going back in a month and can not wait! Make sure to ask for Emily although I am sure all of the people there rock!

Sabia is a great salon. Great people, great environment, great location, and great products.
Lauren is an amazing stylist. I always get a beautiful cut and color. The color also lasts. It looks great even when I’ve gone too long between coloring sessions. If you’re looking for a new stylist, look no further. Go see Lauren! She’s fun, professional and has mad skills!!! Seriously the best stylist ever!

Kacy is officially my stylist! I moved to Austin over 2 years ago and have not found the right stylist until her. She consults with you and asks all the right questions and boy does she get it right. My favorite part is in their intake form they ask your astrological sign (Virgo) and favorite style icon (Audrey Hepburn). That’s all she needed to really know me and I’ve been incredibly happy ever since! It’s been so easy and my hair has actually been able to grow ever since. Everyone else always takes too much off or styles me in a way that I can never maintain. So happy and will continuously come back!!!

I had my first brazilian and ½ leg wax with Emily and am very pleased with the result. I asked her to start with my legs so we could get a little acquainted before I went spread eagle in front of her. The legs didn’t hurt at all and we chatted the whole time, Emily has a way of making you feel comfortable and at ease as she rips hair out of your body. The brazilian went very quickly and was not very painful and went so quickly, which surprised me.
I also asked Emily for a recommendation on a good product to use after waxing because I have very fair/​sensitive skin, she suggested aloe vera every hour after the wax for the first day or so, and then Carrioff Vanish, which they carry in the store. The aloe worked very well on redness/​irritation and the Carrioff is awesome.
I’ll definitely be back!

I had not previously heard of Sabia until I saw the coupon deal and I’m so glad that I did.
The store front is clean and bright.
Elizabeth is professional and helpful. I had a facial about 6 months ago someplace else, and let me tell you. that experience was NOTHING compared to this one. Instead of letting you lay under the steamer alone, she gives you a soothing neck massage. Instead of leaving you for your face to crack under you mask, she gives you a nice arm and hand massage. She was very attentive. Love the place.
I’m not a fan of the parking situation. Not sure if they have a designated place, i didn’t ask. I illegally parked at a nearby building. It is a bit pricey (for me — i’m cheap!) without a coupon, but i think it just might be worth it !

I never would have even ventured in here if it weren’t for my loyalty to Farah Reid, formerly known as Farah Carter of Pink Salon. I love this woman. I love what she does to my hair. And now, I love Sabia by proxy. They are always so friendly and knowledgeable! And really, don’t you want the most incredibly amazing smelling hand soap that has gorgeous packaging and is all natural? You know you do. The gals will even fix you a fancy coffee while you’re there.
