This review is for customer service, which is excellent. I phoned S&B to inquire about a slot machine I picked up at a consignment shop that did not work properly, and what it would cost to fix. S&B told me the particular type of machine I had was notorious for breaking down, and that the repair would likely be as much as I paid for it, and that I should return the machine instead of trying to repair it. I was just so impressed with his honesty on the phone, I vowed that if I ever buy a juke (I’ve lusted after one for years), it will be with this company. Businesses are rarely run the «old school» way — with honesty. I’m just so impressed with how S&B saved me hundreds of dollars with one phone call. Just the best.

I had an old 70s pinball machine that has been in the family forever. I’d been wanting to see it cleaned up and playable for most of my life. These guys are extremely knowledable and kind. You can really see the passion they have for this work. I had no reservations about seeing our special machine take off with Steve, and they did a fantastic job! It plays as good as new and looks as close as a decades old machine could, certainly better than it did in my mother’s garage. They took the time to go over some basic maintenance upon delivery which I appreciated (I hadn’t seen it running since I was young, so I had never really touched it besides playing a few games). Overall I have been extremely pleased with the work and interaction with s&b. Thank y’all so much!

Needed help repairing my control panel on an old Stars Wars arcade and these guys went out of their way to help me get it done as quick as possible. Not only did they fix my problem, but they explained everything to me and even helped me look for parts on another game I own. Great guys, I will definitely call them any time I need help with repairs on my arcade games.

Steve had kept my pinball machine running for years. Even when I just call him to get some advice on how to repair it myself, he is always friendly and helpful. Without Steve, there’s no way I could keep this complex game in playable condition!

After deciding I no longer needed a formal dining room (yes, a divorce will do that), I decided to get a single coin-​op type video game (mid-​life crisis?). I found S&B while searching online, and paid a visit to his shop. There I found a paradise of old video game cabinets and parts and peices (love that kind of stuff). I ordered a Stargate cabinet with a 60-​in-​1 game board conversion. Even having the extra button added didn’t take long, and soon after I had my first game cabinet it what was to become my new ganeroom.
Fast forward nearly five years, and now I have two video game cabinets, an Air hockey table, (some of my own decorations and lighting effects), and the old boring dining room is now the life of any party I have.
Steve (and Steve) have been great to deal with, and while it’s not the absolute cheapest hobby a guy can have, it’s not nearly as budget-​crushing as I first thought it would be.
I would recomment S&B to anyone wanting to set up the funnest room in the house that you can tell your Mother about.
