Roger Beasley Collision – North

Very professional customer handling. We brought in a recently damaged Tesla Model X with very few miles. Parts were not yet available from Tesla, but I was very satisfied with ongoing feedback from Roger Beasley. The VP of operations and Assistant General Manager where my contacts. Five stars all the way. Thank you Johan for amazing customer service and for helping me fight the insurance company for the right parts to use on my Audi. In the situation that my car is damaged again, I will be back at Roger Beasley in a heartbeat.

I am only giving a 1 star because I have to in order to rate this business.
I only took my car there Bc it’s listed as the only certified Volvo collision shop here in Austin.
My car was in the shop for 5 weeks… To replace a windshield, and repair minor roof damage. Terry was my contact. He was condescending, argumentative, and rude at times. He didn’t even notice an obvious dent in the roof related to this claim, initially argued that it even existed, causing another adjuster to have to come out. He reported to the car rental co that the estimated time for completion was 3 weeks prior to actual compilation, so insurance won’t cover any additional days after that.
The delays we due to them overlooking related issues– which insurance doesn’t cover apparently. They ordered the wrong windshield which caused the initial delay, then, the adjuster had to be called back 3 times for other damages that were overlooked, even though I had brought them all to Terry’s attention on day 1.
When I got my car back, 5 weeks later, the inspection sticker wasn’t on the window. When I called to inquire, I was told I could come pick it up «but it had glass shards on it.» Seriously?
Extremely Unprofessional, lengthy and unnecessary delays… Will never return to Roger Beasley Collision North, on Metric.

Wish I could report on the quality of the work, but it’s been 20 days and they haven’t begun repairs on my car. AVOID at all causes!

The service was exceptional and Johan responded to all my emails, and was so nice. This is why I buy my cars at Roger Beasley, the service.

I brought my car here for some minor repairs. I was given an estimate of about a week to ten days to complete the work. I called after two weeks and was told they were still waiting on parts. My insurance rep called a few days later and was told that they hadn’t even ordered the parts yet — and then when she said that wasn’t acceptable, they incorrectly (purposefully?) told her I had dropped off the car two weeks after I actually did. They actually then hung up on her when she called them out on it! My contact would only return about ¹⁄₃ of my calls, and then only after waiting two or three days. I finally got my car after waiting four weeks. It felt like they were affirmatively trying to do a bad job of customer service. The only reason I can give them two stars is because the repair looks like it was well done. But you would have to pay me to take my car here again.

I bought two cars from Roger Beasley: a new Volvo S80 for the safety technology pkg., a new Subaru Legacy for the Eyesight pkg.
I used their service three times.
1. I drove two weeks from Corpus for an appt. and estimate for the S80. When I arrived, he said he couldn’t see my car until I told him that I had an appt.
2. Initially, I was told by the insurance company that the Subaru rear bumper cover would be replaced in two days. I called the collision center every week and was told that they are waiting for the insurance company to approve. Three weeks later, I notified the insurance company that they are waiting for consent. The insurance company said that that was incorrect and got my car fixed the next day.
3. When I received my Volvo S80, I still had error messages: Tire press syst service required, city safety service required, and collision warn service required. The adaptive cruise control does not work.
I will never buy another Roger Beasley car again. They don’t back up their vehicles.

We’ve taken my husband’s Porsche here twice. Only one of those was my fault.
Roger Beasley is the only certified Porsche repair in Austin, which gives them a monopoly on our collision money. Thankfully they don’t charge monopoly level prices for the damage I cause in parking garages. They did a great job with painting and eliminating my minor dent and you couldn’t tell that it was in an accident before. The only downside was that it took 4 business days for the bumper to be repainted.

Dropped my car off at the South location two weeks ago and was given a 1 – 2 week estimate. I called today to check up on it and was told it would be another 2 weeks. So a whole month without my car – not ok. I was rear ended and the damage was mostly superficial. The car was still drivable. They said they found more internal damage when they took it apart, but I drove it for about 2 weeks after the accident without a problem. They said they have all the parts (though it seems they waited awhile to order them) but still said it would be another 2 weeks. I’m having to cancel a weekend trip to see my family because I can’t take my pets in my rental car. It’s a huge inconvenience… I don’t feel like they’re in any hurry to finish the work (despite my initial estimate). Don’t expect to feel like your repairs or timeline are a priority.

I have a 2014 Subaru Forester the was hit on the driver side and pretty much all the driver side had to be replaced. They did a pretty good job. There is visible paint in our lights that was a little annoying. Also, they constantly changed the completion date on us. It took a 8 weeks for them to complete the body work on our vehicle. When we were told the car was finished, we went to pick it up and my husband drove it off the lot, only to have the car go crazy with alarms. He had to pull it right back in. When he did they took it back to the shop and he had to wait for them to figure out why it did that. After they took a look, they told him the barrings also needed to be replaced (due to the accident). And that work would be at least another week. This was particularly irritating because We had already returned our rental and by the time they were done figuring out what was wrong the rental place was closed. They gave us a loner which was a car and we had an suv, and we’re going out of town and needed the space of the suv. And I’m not sure why they had the car for 7 weeks and didn’t know the barrings needed to be replaced. Also, before the accident our car was in mint condition, garage kept, and we got it back with some hail damage. I am aware that even though it occurred on their property, they are not responsible for the damage, but I thought I would take it up there to get a quote. I was told to come at 10am on Tuesday for them to take a look. I had to wait to even get to tell them who I was when I walked in because the lady Danielle I believe was so incredibly busy. She did a good job, but they definitely needed two people up front instead of one. Then I waited until 10:41 to even be seen. They took a brief look at my car and said yes it was hail damage, but they need a special person to come out to look at hail damage cases. I was a little upset, I had two kids with me and waited, even though I had an appointment, all for them to act like I was stupid for bringing the car in without knowing they would need their «hail guy» to look at it. I am unsure why I was told to come in at all, communication was not done properly in my opinion. They should have told me when we called to make the appointment, that we needed to schedule for a date that the «hail guy» would be there.
Overall… Our damage was paid for by the responsible party, so the rental we had to have for 8 weeks wasn’t a financial burden to us, but if you have to pay for your own body work and rental car, 8 weeks of rental is going to be pricy and annoying. I feel as though the body work looks okay… Irritated that they didn’t put our car under cover since it is a garage kept car.
Communication was poor, their failure to explain that they didn’t do hail damage quotes was a waste of my time and their own.
The fact that they were unaware of a problem with the wheel barring prior to releasing the vehicle to us, makes me questions how thorough they were.
Scott was our body repair contact and he was great though.

I just picked up my car today after a recent fender bender and am very happy with the result of the repairs. I will admit that the damage on my car was very light so I can’t speak for anyone who has serious damage. That being said, when I dropped my car off I was originally told it could take about a week to a week and half to get it all repaired but there were able to get it done in three days! They were even nice enough to fix a scratch on my car unrelated to the accident when my girlfriend side scraped a car in a parking lot. Their online system allowed you to check the status of your repair and the employees were knowledgeable and friendly!

These guys do high quality work and know their stuff. I took my Audi to them because they are the Audi factory certified collision repair facility in Austin (both North and South location) and I wanted to be sure the car was properly repaired.
While we did have a bit of a miscommunication as to the extent of the repair (as determined by the insurance company, not them), they stood behind their commitment of customer satisfaction which we received.
I certainly hope that I don’t need bodywork on any of my cars again anytime soon, but if I do, the work will definitely go to these guys.

My experience with Roger Beasley Collision Center was great! The front desk staff is nice and friendly and they went out of their way to make sure they answered all my questions and made sure that I had all that I needed. Originally, my repair was estimated to be completed by the end of the week, but I was shocked when I received a text that it was ready (2 days) prior to the end of the week. I have an Audi S5 and before I had an Audi TT. This will be my second time that I take my cars for repair with them and they always out do themselves in ensuring that I am satisfied with their repair and service. I strongly recommend them!

RBCC is the only authorized repair shop for Audi (that I could find) in the Austin area so I used them for a minor fender repair, tire replacement, & their next door counterpart for a windshield repair. I planned to have the car repaired while I was out of town which didn’t really work out since I was out of town for 5 days & the repair process took 15 days. I will preface this by explaining to everyone that a car repair through insurance is not completely under control of RBCC (or any other repair shop)… your insurance company plays a role in how fast the car is allowed to be worked on. I have GEICO & it took a few days for GEICO to come out and re-​inspect the damage so they could agree on the repair bill before RBCC is allowed to work on the car. I also had a discontinued part that RBCC went above & beyond to find in Alabama combined with the ice storms which delayed shipping the part — again out of RBCC’s control. Overall I was happy with the end result — repair completed, they handled the insurance for the most part & they were very good at communicating status updates. (GEICO will make you go to a GEICO authorized place to get an estimate 1^st) Overall — I think the best way to approach a car repair & what I will do in the future is just to expect it to take a while as nature of the beast.
Cons — Car repair process in general is just a frustrating experience, not because of RBCC but because of the time & money it entails. Also, I did find it odd that though RBCC opens at 7:30am, they will consistently tell you that agents are not available for vehicle/​claim/​etc discussion until a little after 8:30am because of their daily update meeting. I think it’s great for businesses to have daily updates, very productive… but it was frustrating that not one agent can help you until literally not 8:30am but «a little after 8:30am». To me that prevents early drop off or pick up for those who are trying to get to work as soon as possible… oh well :)
Pros — I was updated often by a polite phone call on the status of the repair. There is a Keurig machine in waiting room. They washed my car before returning it to me, which was a nice surprise. Since the part ordered for my car was discontinued, RBCC went above & beyond to find the part, get it shipped ASAP to Austin, & as a courtesy repaired a ding since it took extra time to get that part *(Dusty the Manager cares about his customers and really does want to do a good job. Blair is very knowledgeable and professional as well. I was very frustrated at first with this car repair & now RBCC has turned me into a loyal customer. I will be returning to RBCC for any repair needs. Thank you sincerely caring about your customers!

The front desk/​receptionists are not friendly, at least not in my experience. I dropped off my car because someone had rear ended me. They pushed my car into the car in front of me, so I had damage to the front and rear bumpers. One of the receptionists was talking to a mechanic about my scenario and basically said that she thought it was my fault since I hit someone’s car too. She was surprised that insurance would cover the damage…
Next, State Farm considered my car to be totaled. They told me they would cut me a check and they would need to move the car from Roger Beasley. Fine! I went to Roger Beasley and explained that State Farm considered my car to be totaled, and that I needed to get a few more things from my car before State Farm took it away. They brought it around and I got my stuff, and that was that.
Apparently, Roger Beasley charges $ 30 just for your car to be parked in their shop. State Farm was going to cover that, however, Roger Beasley didn’t release the car to them the day I went to pick up my stuff, even though I was clearly there to get my things out of my totaled car, which is exactly what I said to the receptionist. I waited in the lobby for a good ten to fifteen minutes before they brought the car around, which would have been plenty of time to mention that I needed to sign something to release the car to Sate Farm. The receptionist did not mention anything about me about that.
State Farm had to deduct $ 30 from my settlement because of the lack of communication skills.

Worst experience! They kept my car for a month and for some reason they detached a interior panel on the driver side. I had to drive to Volvo dealership and get it fixed! Even they said that it was ridiculous! The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and never apologized for it! Spoke with the manager and told him. He did apologize and sent some Amy ice cream coupons (w/​o asking).to bad I don’t like ice cream! Ill never go back again! Horrible place!

The staff (especially Danielle) is very friendly and pretty helpful. However, getting your car by your original quoted time probably will not happen. Our car was finished three days later than we wer originally told, and we still had to pay a significant amount of money for the rental.
Never use their rental service!!!

First off, let me preface this review by saying that I’ve been a loyal Roger Beasley Mazda customer since 2010. I’ve purchased two outstanding vehicles from Roger Beasley Mazda of Georgetown, and I think their sales and service staff is exceptional. HOWEVER, Roger Beasley Collision is by far, and it’s not even close, the SLOWEST, most unprofessional shop I have ever taken a vehicle to. Not only have they had my vehicle for over 3 weeks, but they still can’t determine whether or not the car is totaled.
They keep waiting on «parts» to come in that will help them determine if the car is worth salvaging or not, even though their quote to fix the car is 2k over what the value of the car is…
Aside from the aforementioned, the front desk staff answering the phone, though very cordial, never have any insight or helpful information regarding the status of the vehicle. They just regurgitate the outdated information you can look up yourself under the «Check Repair Status» tab on their website.
A very disappointing experience to say the least.

I dont know about the experiences of those that have been there prior to this review. I have AMICA insurance and they advised that Roger Beasley Collision was the only preferred shop that was apart of their network.
I had used them in the past for my truck from a prior accident (also insured and paid by AMICA). Both times, the truck was repaired to my satisfaction (fit and finish). The first was the bedside that was caved in when my friend hit an ATM. The second was the recent hailstorm that damaged the hood and the roof (nice sized dimples everywhere).
I did not have any questions about the damage or repair process since I knew what it would entail. Danielle ensured that everything was handled with the rental and payments. All I did was drop the truck off (after them pestering me to drop it off) and picked up a rental. I got a call telling me it was done a few days later. I dropped off the rental and picked up my truck… nothing else required except a couple of signatures.
By the way, the truck was detailed before being returned to me. I guess that they wanted to make sure that I was happy. Thanks again Danielle and Co.

Wanted to give an update about how my car turned out at RBCC. They did have the hood aligned correctly and agreed to do a detailing on my car. It took a long time to be able to get the car in for a detailing, but they made up for it by providing me a rental, at no cost, while the car was detailed.
Overall I would say my experience was ok. I am giving them 1 more star for their effort in making things right. Unfortunately, I cannot give them more than 3 stars since I did have to take my car back to the dealership multiple times to get it fixed correctly.
