Rocha’s Towing Service

Given in how shitty of a mood i am, since we just spent the last three hours of our life stuck in the mud, tells you how good this company is that i can still muster up a good review. Maggie, the dispatcher, was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially given it was 530am. Louis, our tow guy, made it work even though the way we were stuck at first looked hopeless to all of us. And though they probably could have upcharged us, they didnt. I hope you never need towing, but if you do, call these guys

One of the worst experiences of my life. I know that towing isn’t going to be a great experience but this atrocity of a business made my life a living hell.
Umberto the mentally challenged, illiterate, and overall incoherent man-​boy that handled my process was the definition of incompetence. Not only did he struggle with basic English but he also had no idea what he was doing. I wasn’t expecting too much from a towing company employee, I was well aware he wouldn’t have a Masters Degree but I wasn’t prepared to have to interact with a «grown» man with the intelligence of a struggling 3^rd grader.
The company in itself is a corrupt «operation» much like you’d expect from a towing company. I was not even given a receipt and was told they didn’t «supply that service».
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

My car died on me and I needed a tow out of a small parking lot. I called and was scheduled a tow within the hour. My driver Steven arrived and assessed my cars location, it was not an easy spot to access. He first tried to push my car out of the spot by himself but he couldn’t do it alone. He went to move his truck over to wench my car forward but a delivery truck pulled in to block where he needed to go. When the driver returned Steven asked to help him push the car and that helped. The car was finally in a better position to load it up onto his truck. He was very considerate and let me sit in his truck because of chilly weather while he completed the tow. I’ll continue to use Rocha’s for my towing needs.

Today I needed my car towed to dealership to have new battery installed. I called Rocha’s and I am so glad I did. My initial call was handled quickly and professionally and the truck came within an hour as mentioned. Andy, the driver, was very friendly and did his magic to get my vehicle out of its parking space onto the truck (and this wasn’t easy task but he did it flawlessly without having the ability to use wheel due to technology locking wheel)
Within 15 mins my car was up on flatbed and we were off to Infiniti. He and I engaged in conversation the entire time and I felt safe while in his cab because he has exceptional driving skills. He definitely is a master of his trade. I know that if I ever need another towing company for either of my vehicles, without a doubt, I will be contacting Rocha’s again. (Just FYI, Andy currently only works weekends). On a scale of 1 – 10 (10 being best) Andy and Rocha’s definitely get a 10. (And I’m a hard grader, but absolutely not one issue or anything negative to say)

Needed a car towed from airport blvd to San Antonio and they wouldn’t do it!

Towing companies in general are crooks!!! Rocha’s is at the top of the heap. Crooks, Greedy, Slimey.
My son was in a wreck on 360 where he rear ended another car during rush hour. He is only 18 and it was his first wreck. After the police took the statements, wrote the accident report and swapped insurance information Rocha’s towed his car to their lot without his approval. They didn’t bother to ask him. They told me that the police (who by the way do not own the car either) gave them permission. They charged me $ 150 for the tow. The accident was at 7pm on a Tuesday. I picked up the car at 5pm on Thursday (less than 48 hours) because I was out of town traveling and they would not let my son pick up the car because he was not the registered owner. They charged me 3 days of storage at $ 20/​day = $ 60. They also charged me $ 50 for a «notification letter»??? They said it was mandated by the state! They sent me a letter notifiying me that that they towed my car!!! What a scam!!!
A TOTAL OF $ 286.00!!!Total BS since the state of Texas does not regulate the fees of towing companies. I asked them why they didn’t ask my son where he wanted the car towed (maybe a body shop!!!) and their reply was that it was not their responsibility. Unbelievalble GREED and ARROGANCE. I drove the car off of their lot which means it could have been driven the day of the accident to our house which was .5 miles from the accident.
Rocha’s Towing should make their drivers wear masks because they are thiefs stealing money from people.

After years of animosity for towing companies due to parking mishaps here in Austin (damn you, West Campus!) and in New Haven, it’s really weird feeling the need to leave a good review for a towing company. I guess the difference is that for the first time, I actually WANTED someone to come take my car away.
One horrible, horrible morning, my car refused to start. It wasn’t the battery; I’d just had it replaced last month, and all my electric stuff (lights, radio, power windows, etc.) still worked, the car just did not want to start.
I was in a horrible mood after trying to deal with my car outside in the freezing sleet-​y rain, but thankfully I had a great experience with the towing company. Everyone I dealt with at Rocha’s was very professional and super friendly. The dispatcher took down my info, and called me back within 10 minutes to let me know someone was on the way. I think it took about 15 – 20 minutes total for them to get to my house.
The guy who came out to tow was also very friendly. We discussed the issue I was having and straightened out details about where it was going. Since I’d already arranged for someone to receive it at the service station, I didn’t have to ride along, but he let me know I was welcome to watch the process as he got my car onto the truck, and left me his card.
Oh, and though their billing was taken care of through the dealership I was having my service at, so I didn’t actually pay them directly, they do charge a flat rate, which is handy to know. I think it’s $ 65 if it’s under 4 miles. Anyway, as you can imagine, all those details are on their website.
All in all a good experience, though I hope to never have to have it again lol.

Fast service! I called for a non-​emergency tow around 7:00pm on a Friday night and a truck arrived within 20 minutes! The tow truck driver was friendly and he loaded my car on the truck within minutes. And they charged a reasonable flat fee of $ 70. Other tow companies wanted as much as $ 125 for the same tow. I will definitely use Rocha’s again! Thanks!

Hate to use the rating, yay im a fan. considering the circumstances. I was in a car accident (stupid lady failed to give me Right of way). My lil eclipse was undriveable. Enter Rochas’ towing. They towed my lil car and took it to their lot. I swung by later that day to pick up my personal belongings. I was in /​out in 10 minutes (after getting my stuff and taking pictures). Located conveniently off ben white, on burleson road.
If you ever find yourself in a car accident, (hope not), remember to tell the police officer you want Rocha’s to tow your car.
