Felt the ease of dealing with Robert’s was worth writing a fabulous review!
We had been dealing with unwavering carpenter ants for probably a month, which after having a few other companies come out and quote us for services and try to sell us on other products, felt the process was too fussy and tried to treat on our own.
Well that didn’t work.
So we found Robert’s, who had quite a bit of information on carpenter ants on their website (leading me to believe they know what they are dealing with), and I called to see if they could come out. They had Ray come out the same afternoon, treat our whole perimeter for the ants + other critters, we paid, and were told to call back if we saw any more ants for the next 2 weeks. Boom done. No pressure for signing up for quarterly services, etc.
Today: no ginormous trail of ants! I realize its still early, but I’m happy with my results so far.

I just want to give a shout-​out to Rock, the owner of Roberts Termite & Pest Control, and his staff. First off, they’re consistent to follow up with us when it’s time for our service (both our business & home) and second, they’ve never tried to «over-​sell» something we don’t need. They’re always timely and efficient, even when we reschedule at the last minute (not that I recommend doing that!) They service a lot of our friends’ homes in the Travis Country neighborhood, and everyone’s been pleased. I lose track of time, but I think we’ve been with Roberts for over 25 years — that’s how loyal we are! You’ll be in good hands.
(In the summer they sprayed our yard for mosquitoes … and the smell was great — eucalyptus, maybe?) and we had fewer pesky mosquitoes for a while.

I love that we had the same technician each visit (Robert) — he was courteous, professional, and really got to know our home and our pets over the years. When we moved into an 80 year old rental home in NW Austin, the roaches were unbelievable. Once Robert with Roberts began visiting every three months, we NEVER had another problem for four years. One winter I made a comment to Robert on his regular technician call that I had seen a rat running along the fence at the back of our house and he gave me materials right out of his truck to help with the problem. The administrative staff is always amazingly kind and seem genuinely interested when I phone. If we hadn’t moved to Portland recently, Roberts would have been our exterminators for life, wherever we moved in Austin.

I started off really liking this company but realized that they are all about commission and getting you to pay when you don’t have bugs. I told the owner, Rock, that I didn’t want to pay for monthly service in the winter because I didn’t have bugs. He said, you have bugs, you just don’t see them”. I am sorry but who wants to pay to exterminate bugs when you can’t see them!
They are high pressure and don’t really offer real solutions for your bug problems.

I had a bad experience with another pest control company (Robert’s pest control) so I went to Unilocal to find another and found
. The reviews were very helpful and I am happy to say I had a similar experience. They were really professional and I do believe they conquered my scorpion problem! They did a really thorough job. The technician put screens on the weep holes, sprayed the attic, and sprayed the house. I haven’t seen a scorpion since. There prices are beyond reasonable (including the 30 dollar trip charge to Buda). They also have a great guarantee.
