Red Mango

This is a place I go to for cheap, delicious frozen yogurt. I’ve tried the food and don’t care for it too much, but give it a try if you haven’t. Anyway, froyo is good, and their coffees are too. It’s close enough to my job to walk there so I can’t complain.

I didn’t know Red Mango was so close to my job and I am so glad I found it!!! The blonde guy there was so helpful and you can taste how fresh the fruit is I had a fruit smoothie and I was in heaven! Again thanks for the great service and delicious product I will be returning.

I hate doing this but… just went here at 6pm on a Monday and not a single one of the froyo machines was at the correct temperature. They all spat out liquid. Disappointing. I really love Red Mango but don’t live near one. I was so excited to have it… til I couldn’t.

What ever you do, don’t show up 45 min before closing, floors will be mopped and attitudes will be engaged.

My husband and I love Red Mango! We live right behind it and walk there once a week. The yogurt is always so tasty and fresh and the guy from Seattle (I am so sorry I am trying to remember your name!) is always super friendly and great to chat with while we are there. We love the toppings too!

so, i bought a groupon. It was for 3 visits, 3 different coupons. I didn’t know if i would use all three, but now I wish I had bought one or two extra’s! what a great deal! I love that you can taste before you buy, and i’ve learned not to complicate my frozen yogurt experience with toppings, that’s for amateurs, IMHO! on our last visit, we tried the Strawberry… and it was creamy, just the right balance of sweet/​tart and added vanilla to it. somehow it made it home, and we treated ourselves later while watching a movie. by «ourselves» i mean i had to feed hubby and my two doxies a bite, taking turns of course. We always have a good experience here, and i’m glad it’s nearby and reasonably priced!

Will be giving Red Mango another chance so hopefully I will be updating my review soon but the last time we went was around 8pm mid week. 2 of the machines were getting cleaned — of the flavors we wanted so we waited but finally needed to leave so just tried what they had available, no big deal. But then we got to the fixin’ station and everything was picked over. everything in the 704 is having a tough time in my opinion, maybe not getting the foot traffic so I hope they stick around but hopefully have more selection next time! good prices though.

Red Mango is another great addition to the 704 complex! I come here about once a week for their delicious fruit and yogurt smoothies! At $ 4.95 I think the value is great for a nutritious breakfast that is very filing!
They also offer great pressed juices in a large variety of flavors and combinations. Love this place!

I have always had great experiences at Red Mango until today. I ordered a salad, and the guy behind the counter used his bare hands to reach into the chicken container to grab the chicken for my salad. I had just seen him exchanging money with another customer prior to making my salad. I asked if his hands were clean and he said that he already washed them once today and they were fine. I’m not sure if this is standard practice but I find that to be incredibly unsanitary and disgusting. I asked if the ingredients were okay to eat, and he sniffed the corn and beans and said he thought it looked good. Again, this is so gross and unprofessional! I didn’t end up eating my food just because of how gross this experience was. I really hope this is not common practice.

They have The Smoothie Factory inside! Dairy — free and walking distance from my apartment. Not as tasty as the location on William Cannon. They do give a 10% discount for The 704 residents.

This place does several things well including their fresh juices and flatbreads. The owner was super nice and if he can spread that to all current and future employees, there’s no way this won’t continue to grow. Great place!

Normally I like Red Mango and always get it in the Chicago airport. I walked into this one today and the employees were super friendly and helpful and even gave me a coupon, which I thought was super nice! The flavors they had were great, though I went with my usual tart Original flavor. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was that most of the pineapple pieces I had were somewhat rotten and sour, plus there was no fresh kiwi. I’ll give them a second shot though.

Red Mango is one of the many businesses that went into the 704 that is actually doing something right. They are continuously kind whenever my husband and I come in, and they are 100% open to flavor thoughts. For instance, vanilla got replaced by coconut. While both are good, vanilla is now back! I mentioned that I was going to request it, and the manager asked that I do that moving forward!
Also, the popcorn flavor is THE JAM! Brand new, and AMAZING! Take your butt for a walk and get to Red Mango after your dinner or for an afternoon treat.

I get jazzed whenever I have a Spicy Cold Burner. My kids love the all natural Fro-​Yo and I love giving it to them because its healthy!

Love Red Mango! It’s my favorite yogurt place in town, and I love how they have other healthy options, too. Seriously the best!

Always friendly and good service. The toppings bar always looks clean. My only wish was that they offered some more dessert-​type flavors of yogurt.

The team at Red Mango is amazing. They help you find the perfect refreshment. My daughter went for the healthy beet juice and I had the amazing peanut butter yogurt. What a nice relaxing afternoon.
