History

Established in 2005.

Broker and Owner Steve Cossette Started this RE/​MAX franchise in 2005 with a partner and his son, Mike Cossette who is also a Broker and Co-​Owner. Their main focus in the beginning was to help Austenite’s achieve their goals buying and selling property in the Austin Real Estate market. Throughout the years they have hired several more high minded, like individuals who have the same dedication to customer service. The RE/​MAX Gateway franchise remains focused on helping and fulfilling their client’s real estate needs. The franchise continues to grow with outstanding agents as demand for Austin real estate and the need for trustworthy agents increases.

Business Owner

Steve Cossette is a professional Texas Realtor, founder and Owner of RE/​MAX Gateway in SW Austin. Before founding RE/​MAX Gateway, Steve earned a Brokers license in 1982 and for 15 years developed and managed commercial real estate for the airline industry. He also enjoyed a highly successful career in the travel & aviation industry as Co-​Founder and President of Neat Group, Inc., a successful travel technology company he sold in 2003. Steve was the VP Global Supplier Relations at American Express and prior to that was a corporate officer and VP of Distribution Planning at Continental Airlines. At Continental he was responsible for worldwide military and government sales, distribution technology and management of the real estate assets of Continental’s 60 retail ticket offices across North America. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and has lived all over the country before settling with his family in the Texas Hill Country in southwest Austin.
