Dr. Shazeen Ali is a therapeutic optometrist specializing in primary eye care and is certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. A native Austinite, Dr. Ali is excited to provide exceptional eye care to the local residents of Austin.

Dr. Ali received her bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she received the prestigious Sigma Kappa Award from the International Optometric Honor Society. She completed specialty training through externships in cataract and laser vision correction surgery co-​management, contact lenses, and the management of glaucoma.

This is by far the best optometry center I’ve visited yet. Dr. Ali was super-​helpful in not only helping me find a great pair of glasses by explaining the various options in terms of lenses and frames, but was also extremely helpful in explaining the best way to utilize my vision insurance towards my purchase. To top it off, my glasses arrived in less than a week, which was totally unprecedented for me. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I was looking for a new eye doctor & decided to come here because they take my insurance & I saw all the great reviews. I’m so glad I did! Dr. Ali and her staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I usually dread going to doctor’s appointments but I was so satisfied with my visit. Not to mention, the office is very nice & they had the cutest frames! Also, Dr. Ali fit me in these new contact lenses that are amazing! I’ve been wearing contacts for years and have always had dry eye issues, but i’m so excited about my new contacts! She’s a very knowledgeable & caring person, and I’m happy to say I look forward to my next visit!

Dr. Ali was very helpful in finding the perfect pair of first time glasses for my ten year old son. She was very patient with him and with my two year that needed entertainment. Dr. Ali assisted us in finding the perfect fit and looking up all my insurance coverage as well. Her office is new and beautiful. My son was able to find a pair of frames from her children’s collection. Dr. Ali and her staff were very professional, and I highly recommend this business.

After a New Years disaster that left me legally blind without my only pair of prescription glasses, Dr. Ali and her staff were able to get me in for a new patient exam the same day I called. It was my first experience without the tedious eye dilation, and I can’t recommend it enough — modern medical tech is a wonderful thing! Painless process from check in to actual eye exam, phenomenal staff who are all equally pleasant and easy to engage with, and a fantastic selection of designer frames on site. If you’re looking for a personalized eye care clinic that will take care of you, look no further than Dr. Ali’s practice!

My friend recommend this place since I needed an eye exam right away and Dr. Ali’s office were able to get me in the same day! Office is up to date and very nice. Dr. Ali was kind and took her time to give me an awesome exam. It was one of the best eye exam I had in a while. They have this cool optos machine that takes picture of your retina so you don’t have to get dilated. Its very high tech. They also have promotional deal on Unilocal so take advantage of it.

Amazing service and very personalized! Didn’t feel at all commercialized where you are usually just a patient who they don’t remember. On my second visit after my exam they remembered me by my first name. The doctor took a vested interest in my likes and dislikes about contacts and glasses. Would def recommend Ranch Road to anyone who likes that personal attention.
