R&R Limousine and Bus

This is probably the only transportation company I have ever encountered that may forget to pick you up after you’ve arranged pick up services from the airport prior to your 13 day long vacation. The Manager/​Owner was not very surprised and offered no assistance with a solution even though the pick up was scheduled at midnight. He referred me and my three children to another company at 12:02AM that quoted twice the original charge and advised he would speak to his team and try to figure out why the reservation was received but not scheduled. This company is not reliable or professional. I suggest you go with another company if your family’s safety or your business professional’s time is a priority.

Man, I wish I had read the Unilocal reviews before booking this company to shuttle our guests to my daughter’s wedding! We scheduled 3 shuttles to take guests from a hotel in Austin to the wedding venue in Dripping Springs. I provided an extremely detailed schedule of when each shuttle was to leave so that all 3 shuttles didn’t arrive at the same time and to prevent the ushers from having to seat nearly 100 people at once. Well, we didn’t need to worry about that! The last shuttle was an hour late causing us to delay the wedding 30 minutes. I tried several times to reach dispatch but no one ever answered the phone.
When I spoke to R&R the following Monday, I was told some story that lead me to believe that another wedding had hijacked our shuttles and were taking people to another venue on the same property we were on. I never did get a straight answer out of them but I would highly recommend anyone scheduling shuttles with any company to give strict instructions that no shuttle guest is allowed to override the provided schedule without the company calling you to confirm first!
Within 30 minutes of speaking to someone at R&R, my credit card was charged for the remaining balance due and to my surprise I was charged significantly more than the quote I was given. There were additional service charges, gas charges and a 15% gratuity automatically added which I knew nothing about. Not one quote, or email between R&R and myself over the past 4 months indicated there would be additional charges. I was going to let things go after the timing fiasco since the wedding was beautiful but when I saw the additional charges, I came to Unilocal and read about how everyone else had similar stories so I had to warn people that you really don’t want to use this company when it comes to a large event. The single rider reviews to the airport seem to be good, but when it comes to coordinating larger events they fall short!
R&R came recommended by our wedding venue and I have let them know they need to see the Unilocal reviews and recommending this company in the future is only going to hurt their reputation

I booked two of their buses for my Sunday wedding in October. They were timely, professional, and the buses were in excellent shape. We couldn’t have been happier with their service. I don’t really understand some of the poor reviews. They were by far the most competitively priced outfit in the city.
I would definitely use them again.

I originally booked a trip from Austin Airport to the JW Marriott, an 8.5 mile ride, for a conference for work. I was quoted on the phone that it would be a 60.00 charge. 10 minutes later, I looked at my account and they charged 122.50. I immediately called back and the operator informed me that it was a minimum of 2 hours, something I was NEVER told during booking. 122.50 to go 8 miles. I immediately asked her to cancel my reservation and refund my account. Well… They canceled my reservation, and then CHARGED ME AGAIN! So now, I am waiting for an almost a 300 refund for a trip I never took. I was told by accounting this could take WEEKS to remedy, as their refund system is «slow». I asked why I was charged a second time and she stated she made a mistake. So they can charge immediately, and take their time to refund. BAD BUSINESS. I will never recommend this kind of service. Silly me, a cab was 30 bucks!

I have used R&R Limo for two separate occasions. The first was to the airport for our honey moon. And the second was for a fleetwood Mac concert. Both times the experience was wonderful. The drivers were early and very friendly. It’s been a great service to use for special occasions and I will definitely be using them in the future!

I won’t go into details on my school group’s most recent experience with this company. In fact, I was told not to write a review about it because we are still contracting with them for some reason. Suffice to say, do NOT book an out-​of-​town trip with this company unless it’s your only option.

I used to work for this company and they STILL have not paid me for one of my last trips. I have contacted everyone from accounting to dispatch for them to mail it to me and not even a reply. It is only $ 86, but the fact they ignore my request is beyond me. Even though my co-​workers were great to work with, R & R seemed a bit unorganized at times.
Their vehicles are hit or miss. Some of the vehicles they put me in, I did not feel safe driving. If you decide to hire R&R, ask for a nice vehicle or you could be disappointed. This post will come down once I receive the final pay. I’m not expecting the pay since it has been almost 3 months, but I figured I should warn the customers. I’m not sure who else to contact or what to do.
If you hire or decide to work for this company, document and keep track of everything. I’m disappointed and in awe that a company refuses to pay their employees.

If you book R&R for your wedding, they probably won’t show!
My husband and I booked R&R a couple of months before our wedding. Over 90% of our 100+ wedding guests were from out of town. We booked R&R to pick up our guests after the reception from the wedding venue and transport them back to their downtown hotels starting at 9 pm on the big day. The bus never showed.
When the bus didn’t show at 9 pm, my family wasn’t sure who to call so I, the bride, got on the phone at 10 pm and spoke to a dispatcher. I told them who I was and that we had reserved (and provided a credit card for payment) a bus and no one had showed. They acted shocked that no one had showed and said they would have someone out there. They even said they had spoken to the driver and told him to head to our venue.
10:30 pm rolls around and still no bus. I had elderly folks still waiting for a ride. I yet again took time out of my wedding night to call them a second time. They once again assured me that they had a driver and put me on hold to get to the bottom of things. I eventually gave the phone over to one of my bridesmaids so I could try and enjoy the rest of the evening, even though this was looming in the back of my mind.
In the end, the bus never showed. Thankfully, my bridesmaid called Yellow Cab and told them what happened, and they sent a group of cabs within a matter of minutes to the venue to pick up our guests.
R&R later gave us a lame excuse that they had put the wrong date in their system. They even charged our credit card for the service that we never received! It took nearly three weeks to get a refund.
The owner eventually offered to give only my husband and I a ride to the airport well after we had returned from our honeymoon. Not to mention we live less than 10 minutes from the airport. When we said we didn’t need a ride to the airport in the near future and would rather another service, he instead offered a very small discount on a future booking. This was not an acceptable offering for ruining a part of my wedding night that I can never get back.
I waited to write this review until after we heard back from the owner to see if he would make things right. First he took forever to get back with us, took weeks to issue us a refund, and then didn’t seem to care if he made it right with us in the end.
We, along with our friends book buses all the time for winery tastings and other outings. My friends all know now never to use this company. Disappointed in this experience doesn’t even come close.

Not pleased. 40 of us rented a bus for a wedding an hour away, but it never showed. I don’t remember if they let us know they were running late, but they definitely didn’t let us know they weren’t coming. We left after several broken promises of ‘we’re right around the corner!’ to make it to the wedding on time.
Luckily, the bus did pick us up from the venue so we didn’t have to drive home after a night at the open bar. The kicker– we had to drive back out to the venue the next morning to pick up our cars. We haven’t received any type of refund and they’re MIA on returning calls or emails which is always a red flag. Won’t be using R&R anytime soon!

Lies, more lies and insult, good luck getting a refund when they leave you stranded. Do not use R & R Limo. I thought I was doing the right thing organizing a bus to make the hour drive out to a buddies wedding for 30 people. R & R could not have done more to screw our night up. They are for sure the cheapest option around and easy to book, but when it came down to actually doing their job they dropped the ball. (Lie 1) 10 minutes before the agreed time dispatch called and said the bus caught a flat on IH35 and would be about 15 minutes late. (Lie 2) 20 minutes after the agreed time I called dispatch to find out what the status was, 10 minutes on hold and they came back saying the driver had mechanical issues at the station and would be another 25 minutes. At this point we were getting super close to exhausting our 75 minute window we built in. (Lie 3) The driver finally called me after 20 and said he was actually going to be another 15 minutes because of traffic. At this point it was too late. All 40 of us had to get in our cars and make the drive ourselves if we were going to have any chance in making the wedding. The driver agreed to bring those who were unable to drive home after the wedding back to the city. It was at the wedding that the driver confessed that R & R had actually sent two buses to the same pick up point, one of which was supposed to come pick us up. 3 lies.
On Monday when I called seeking a refund, they immediately agreed and asked for an address. Great right? Only problem, it’s now been 9 weeks. I have yet to have phone call or email answered since then. And after all of that, they had the nerve to charge another $ 135 for the trip home. A trip that would not have happened have they not left us stranded to begin with! Bottom line, learn from mine and others mistakes and do not use R & R Limo Bus.

I wish I had the time to create my own service rating website so I could give R&R Limousine ZERO STARS. R&R ruined a potentially fantastic evening for a group of friends heading to a wedding. A wedding is a special day that happens only once for a close friend. You are supposed to be ON TIME. R&R promised over and again to be on time in the weeks leading up to the event but our driver no showed us.
Weeks of prep time ahead of them R&R completely fell short and nearly ruined a once-​in-​a-​lifetime party. It was *nearly* ruined because they had the decency to send us a bus to prevent drinking and driving after the wedding. The next day was spent scrambling to get our group back to their cars that were left at the venue an hour away. So two whole days after the event to get everyone to their car. Weeks in advance planning and now MONTHS working to get a refund R&R is literally the worst.
I logged into my Unilocal account for the first time in over half a decade to share this experience and warn others to avoid this company. You would be better hiring a fleet of pedicab drivers to drive your group in increments around town than hiring this company.

R&R’s mission is to «provide a stress free transportation experience.» Well, they «Nailed it!» in a Pinterest fail kind of way. My friend Austin coordinated a bus for 40 of us to ride to our friends’ wedding. On the day of the wedding, R&R was nowhere to be found because they had flat tires/​mechanical issues/​insert your favorite excuse you use when you’re running late.
We ultimately gave up hope after they repeatedly promised us «we’ll be there in 10 more minutes” – we couldn’t rely on them after multiple bad ETAs (or flat out lies, your call), it was too close of a shave. Can you imagine walking down the aisle with 40 guests missing? R&R may have let us down, but we wouldn’t do that to our friends.
After taking our personal vehicles out to the event, R&R brought a bus out to drive us home. I’ll give them credit for making sure we did not drink and drive. But then again, that was kind of the whole point of renting a bus to begin with. And since we used personal vehicles to get to the venue, we had to deal with the inconvenience of driving 30 minutes out of town to pick up our cars in the morning.
They initially promised a 100% refund but have since gone AWOL with Austin who coordinated the bus to begin with. Maybe they thought 40 unhappy customers wasn’t worth their time?
Don’t use them – they will leave you literally and figuratively in a lurch.

I only gave one star because I had to… This is the worst I have ever dealing with. The had the wrong days & days!!! Emails my cancelation on Nov 3. I called many times, no answer, or voice mail. Dec 4 I notified my VISA for credit!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Wanted to rent a black crysler 300 limo but the lady i talked to called me after i paid for it and told me that they no longer have this limo so i rented a silver one for my birthday to drive us from San Antonio to Austin and the radio and tv did not work. Driver pulled over to try fixing it but didnt help. About two days after our limo party im getting charged $ 300 for a cleaning fee. I opened a claim with my bank against r&r and got my money back because they couldnt prove this make believe mess we made.

I just used R&R for a last minute airport transfer and couldn’t have been happier. My driver, Brian, called in advance to confirm arrival time and location. He arrived early and was more than happy to wait on a guest that was running a bit late. He was very professional and personable, the car was very clean and the AC had been cranking before we got in so we were very comfortable. It was a great experience and I would be happy to work with him again.

Hired R&R for my wedding. They showed up a half hour late to pick up my guests after I specifically told them in bold font that it was important they be on time. I was not to happy to call up the dispatcher and be put on hold only to listen to their recording repeat «At R&R Limousine we’re always on time.»
Most of the guests had already driven themselves or took cabs out to the venue because they thought the buses had left when they had never even arrived. No phone call to say they were running late or notice of any kind. We had to push back the ceremony, the dinner, the reception. Which meant we spent less time eating, dancing, and enjoying our wedding day.
As someone who has booked multiple bus trips for large groups, this has to be the most piss poor run bus service I’ve ever come across.

If you are planning an important event and need transportation, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT use R&R ever ever, even if they have a better price. There are no words for how disappointed and appalled I am with this company. They RUINED my wedding day that I had planned for a year.
The bus knowingly left their hub without air conditioning in 90 degree Texas heat and arrived at the W hotel downtown without A/​C to pick up my guests to head to Dripping Springs. It was a complete sauna and there was no way my passengers could have rode for an hour without A/​C. It was miserable and why they left with no A/​C is beyond me. Note: they say they aren’t liable for mechanical issues. It took them OVER 1.5 hours (3:30−5pm) to find a new bus (and when they did, driver parked on the side of the W so my guests didn’t even know she was there) and my wedding started 1.5 hour later. I lost money because I had to pay my cocktail hour musicians overtime hours and my reception which was supposed to start at 8, started at 9:30 and lost precious hours with my band. We had so much alcohol left since reception was short and that totaled more money. We ate dinner in the dark — I could go on and on, but there were so many things that this affected and I am out thousands of dollars in addition to the money I spent with R&R.
Not only was the bus late, the driver they sent out HAD no idea to get to my venue. No idea… My guests have videos of the driver on her cell phone, reading a piece of paper, asking for help on how to get to the venue, looking at my guests cell phone all while driving my passengers who flew in all from all over the country for my wedding. I am happy to send them to you. This added on more time. As icing on the cake, on the way back, she asked my passengers on the first bus back to get out of the bus in the dark on a country road because she couldn’t read the street sign and didn’t know how to get back to 290.
Third, both bus drivers took it upon themselves to eat the plated meals at my wedding — causing 2 of my other vendors who had worked 11 hour days to not eat. The drivers somehow went asking that they be fed — this was not agreed upon before and not approved by me. We had already paid for gratuity for these drivers ahead of time which is so disturbing.
I am completely disappointed in how this was handled by R&R. Paul the owner of R&R refuses to to take responsibility for this issue with the bus being late, even the musicians overtime hours. They offered to refund me a measly $ 400 back after I have paid over $ 2k with them and paid over an additional $ 1500 in overtime hours to my vendors.
These are things I will never get back since it was my wedding day — there are no words for how appalled I am that this happened. They are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt after a fiasco like this. I would not recommend, under any circumstances, do business with this company.

I was a groomsman at a wedding in early May in North/​Central Austin. The bride and groom had set up a contract with R&R to pick people up after the wedding and run a shuttle service for the 100+ guests to be taken from the site of the reception to a hotel downtown.
R&R never showed up.
We contacted them and they told the groom that the contract they had in place must have had the wrong date on it, and their files showed they were scheduled to pick people up from the wedding in early MARCH. This is despite the fact that they booked the shuttle service AFTER March 3^rd. So either the employee thought he was booking a shuttle service for a wedding party that had invented a time machine, or they were just lying.
They didn’t even send anyone out to pick up the stranded guests when informed of their mistake. We had to call dozens of cabs to come pick up the attendees even though the shuttle service through R&R had been paid for weeks in advance.
I would not book R&R for ANY occasion because they might just forget to show up and then lie about it and not issue you a refund for a month and a half.

I requested and paid for a Hummer limo for our 2−16−14 wedding but did not receive one from them. Instead, they gave us a limo bus (which they claim was an «upgrade»)… The limo bus was a nightmare. It was so noisy and so bumpy that I almost threw up from how nauseous the ride made me. NOT a great way to start my wedding day.
After the wedding, they removed $ 1040 from our bank account yet we did not owe them anything because we had already paid our final balance one month prior. We had to spend time during our honeymoon dealing with this. It took weeks for them to return this money.
For months before our wedding, they sent me many emails regarding other brides’ reservations — completely unprofessional.
I would NEVER use R&R again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone for any reason. I cannot stress enough how unhappy, disappointed, and frustrated R&R made us.

Outrageously bad customer service. We had been working with them for 3 months to reserve a 40 person bus to the Wildflower barn. One week out they finally tell us they can’t do it, and that everything bigger than a SUV is booked. This email was a «I don’t give a crap about what’s going on, and here’s what we got» email from «Ashely». I then called her, who then said they did have buses available, then after 10 minutes realized she was looking at the wrong page and that the day was totally booked. Seriously?
This place gets 5 stars on wasting my time.

and as they had the best rates and good ratings I decided to go with them. When it comes to making sure I get to an airport in plenty of time and without feeling rushed, I want the best service — I can’t take chances on a service getting me there with little time to spare and then behaving as though it was my fault they were late. So I took a chance with
, R&R and I’m glad I did. The service emailed me an hour before my pickup to give me contact information for my driver, and on top of that, Cynthia called not long afterwards to touch base with me. She was not just on time but a tad early; assisted me with the cart with my bags (my hotel didn’t have bell service), told me to just settle inside the limo, and she put the cart back inside. The town car was clean, comfortable, a pleasure to ride in. We had a very nice conversation during the drive to the airport — she wanted to hear my likes and dislikes about Austin; gave me some suggestions for not only a return visit to Austin, but (since I mentioned going there in the past) recommendations should I make another visit to San Antonio as well, and upon arriving at the airport, put my bags at the curbside check-​in. The gratuity was included in the cost. Cynthia was friendly, professional, very helpful, and I would have liked to have talked longer with her. It was a pleasure making her acquaintance, even for such a short time.
I’ve used many types of services in the past — private town car, taxicab, airport shuttles, hotel shuttles — to get to and from airports, and this was by far one of the best I have used. Hilton Honors and
can be proud to have R&R as part of their group. As someone else mentioned, I’m sorry that others have had poor experiences with the company, especially when an event such as a wedding is ruined. These reports always make me take all the reviews under consideration as I decide whether to use a company or not. I’m glad I decided to go with them and that everything worked out. If I’m ever in Austin again, I’d have no qualms about using them again.

Back in September we used R&R for an F-​1 «property tour» for many of our Realtor friends and acquaintances. The limo bus arrived EARLY and was a clean as a whistle. We departed and were there at the F-​I track in no time as they were laying down fresh asphalt. We had a FANTASTIC time on the way up and especially on the way back. The bus driver was as excited as we were, after all how many people do you know who got to stand ON the track and take pictures?
We will be hosting another property tour to East Austin in March so we will definitely be using R&R again.

Everyone knows that the cab situation in Austin is dire on holidays… especially new years eve! To save us some heartache, I decided to hire a town car to take us from the bar on west 6^th back to our home in northwest austin. Normally, this cab ride can cost 30 — 40 bucks (depending on the number of passengers and how bad the traffic is).
R&R limo was able to offer us a town car for $ 78 (which included gratuity for the driver), a reserved pick-​up time (which cabs cannot guarantee on new years), and clean/​comfortable vehicles (non-​existent in the cab world).
Our driver was courteous, and even offered to take us to Taco Cabana for some queso. We definitely plan on using this service every holiday — it saved us from some major stress! Thanks R&R!

No Refunds means no refunds: Even if your hotel burns down and you cannot make use of their service.
Know that before you buy a SXSW pass. :(

R&R Limo provides a variety of great services at reasonable prices. Daniel R. who works for R&R is awesome and extremely helpful in finding what you need at a great price!
I recently attended a party on one of their party buses. That thing was swanky! If you’re thinking school bus with disco lights, you’ve got it all wrong! This bus had nice leather interior, tasteful lighting, a refrigerator and sink for food and drinks, a flat panel TV, and fit about 20 – 25 people. It was awesome! The driver was very professional and we all had an amazing night!
I highly recommend using R&R. In addition to the party buses, they have a fleet with everything from smaller limos to giant tour buses. I’ll definitely use them in the future!
