Quik Print

We used Quik Print to print our wedding invitations. Mr. Golding assisted us; he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. The quality of the print job turned out excellent (the paper, ink, and finish were all very high quality). We were also very impressed with the customer service and attentiveness provided at Quik Print. We will definitely be returning there for any future printing needs.

Quik Print was exactly what I needed today! I need to make some copies and made an attempt to work the self service printers myself. I am printer challenged so I was helped by staff & they made the copies for me.
They separated my sections with colored paper & boxed them up for me. They went above & beyond without me asking. I will definitely be back when I need to print /​copy more.

I start my quest to find a good local printer to print a poster/​caricature for a birthday gift. My online request for a quote was answered in less than an hour, and I was able to pick up my poster for printing the next day. MY GOODNESS, I am blown away by the quality of the paper, the color, the print, everything! They will be me go-​to for printing needs moving forward…

Just got my holiday cards printed here and I have to give these guys 5 stars. The print quality was the best one can expect from digital printing, and the turnaround time in less then 24 hours. But the reason I’m writing the review is the fact that they took the time to trim my improperly-​sized cards (my fault) to fit them in the envelopes. It took a couple of attempts but they got it right, and they were happy to do it. It’s this attention to quality control that will make me come back with more print jobs.

Amazing experience as a first-​time customer! They’re professional, responsive and diligent. I was helped by John to print a few hundreds of door hangers. An uncommon need as I would imagine, it was patiently explained and illustrated in every detail so that I can accommodate my design to the paper with minimum revision. And they are done in one day and a half! Finally (maybe the most important factor), their price is very, very competitive. All in all, I would definitely recommend this store.

Fast. Professional. Competitively priced. I have been a regular customer for my printing needs for almost 3 years. Quik Print gets it right every time. If I am not able to get there, I can upload the files to their site and have them printed ASAP. The manger there is awesome! They are remodeling and the store looks even better every time I come in. Very happy with this local printing company. I called them up and got some flyers printed on very short notice. They were knowledgeable and easy to work with. Got exactly what I needed and done very quickly. Price was reasonable, production was very good. I will use them again!

Very helpful staff. Definitely knew what they were talking about; quick and quality printing. Good turnover rate and they called me to look at a possible change that improved the quality. And excellent prices. Not the largest selection of papers but I was able to find one that was close enough. I used them for my wedding programs so I trust them.

Went here for my wedding invitations — and it was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning process. As a non-​graphic designer but someone who loves stationary, MS powerpoint, word design and gift wrap, it was important to me to design my own wedding invitations. That said I needed help — as I dont know how to use Adobe or any traditional graphic interface program.
Enter Hugh, the (interim?) manager at the Research Quik Prints. Even though I live on the other side of Austin I drove to this location based on the Unilocal reviews and I am so glad I did. Hugh took my ideas and images and transformed them into the wedding invitation of my imagination — the end result was perfect! He was beyond patient with my bridezilla tendencies (changing things back and forth, back and forth, printing samples on all the paper options I could find, and even let me in the back area to sit at their computer and try out different fonts.) Needless to say I probably saved a couple hundred dollars coming here vs a wedding stationary store — and I had an invitation that was custom designed rather than «fill in the blank».
Will definitely be back for anything else I need designed and printed, wedding and beyond!

Came here after searching Unilocal for a print shop. And after calling a few other places, Quik Print had the lowest price (10¢ per page + $ 5 setup fee) for converting a 90 page hard copy to PDF format. They only charge the $ 5 fee for PDF conversions, otherwise it’s 9¢ per page for regular copies. I took a blank CD and had them copy the file to it.
Although I was hoping I would get an editable PDF, I believe there are ways to do that online. But still, for a small fee, I don’t have to carry a book around. just my iPad :)

I’m a design student who, like the procrastinating bum that I am, waited for the exact week before my exhibition opened to get some books printed. Luckily for me, Leah at this location was so incredibly kind, helpful, and patient! She steered me away from a binding setup that would have cost me $ 100+ (perfect binding) and showed me a different kind (some heat-​drying tape binding on the side?) that turned out even better looking – I liked the color detail on the side, and their ink was thicker, and richer – and she even found a tape color that matched my exact spot color. When the first binding messed up, she reprinted my book, cut it down, helped me choose and make a beautiful cover (recommending, with very good taste, a really gorgeous speckle tone card stock that matched my book design), and bound it – all without charging me extra.
She also patiently helped me through several mistake prints of an essay that I could *not* for the life of me order the pages in correctly, helping me until I got it right. Again, no extra charges, even though I’m sure I wasted several hours of her day being completely frazzled.
FINALLY, when I forgot my wallet, she was compassionate and let me take the prints and call in my card number from home. I really could not ask for better service.

I needed something printed for an anniversary gift. I first took it to Office Max. BIG MISTAKE…
Let me preface this by saying that I am a total type A personality. When Office Max printed it their cardstock wasn’t much heavier than regular paper. I also asked them to cute the paper into fourths. Shouldn’t be too hard right? Wrong-​the cards were all different sizes. Not gonna work for me.
Luckily-​Quick Print was my knight in shining armor. When I walked in-​there were super cute and helpful girls that were busy at work. When I said cardstock-​they said, «What kind?». YAY!!! This was the place to be! They were able to quickly print and accurately cute the paper. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes.
