Cannot say enough great things about Kyle and Mike. They showed up within a couple hours of us discovering our kitchen was flooded. They showed so much compassion and walked us through every step of the process. They were very accommodating and did whatever they could to help make this terrible situation a little less terrible. I highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with PuroClean. I had a condensation pipe overflow into an adjacent closet. Unfortunately, I did not realize the extent of the leak until weeks later. Mike and Lynn (yes, the owners) came out to my property themselves for the initial evaluation. They just seemed like good people. Their techs came in to do work over the 4^th of July holiday weekend. They were extremely kind and explained the process to me.
One of my main concerns was weather any of they used any chemicals that would be harmful to me or my dog, but the products they use are safe. Hopefully you’ll never have to give PuroClean, but if you do, you’ll be sure to receive great service with integrity.

When the ceilings in my brand new house began to leak during our first big rain storm, I was less than excited. I called PuroClean and received a very timely response as well as flexible timing to work with my work schedule. Kyle and Mike came to my house every day at times that were convenient to me in order to check saturation level and re-​position equipment.
After the fans and dehumidifiers were in my house for about 4 days and I was slowly going insane, both Kyle and Mike took the time to hear me out and calm me down in a very respectful and understanding way. I probably spent a cumulative 2 hours with them at different times engaging in the same conversation, but they continued to have patience and answer ALL of my questions.
The equipment was ready to be removed on a Sunday when Kyle had the day off, but he came to my house and removed everything even though he wasn’t working. I really appreciated his timeliness, availability, professionalism, and expertise. On top of all of this, PuroClean is dealing directly with my builder so I don’t have to worry about coordinating payment for their services at all. I would highly recommend PuroClean for all of your water damage needs.

I wanted to share that I am very impressed with the professionalism of Puroclean. They do a super job and really try to keep the cost down. I especially love how they are able to get the smoke smell out of rentals which I have had problems with in the past. I highly recommend Puro Clean

I was lucky enough to call Puro Clean after I had a water leak in my master bathroom and was in serious need of professional advice/​direction.

Mike showed up right at the appointment time and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He could’ve easily recommended $ 1,000+ in services right on the spot but instead noticed that I had already taken some precautions to dry the area out. He suggested that I wait a couple of days before taking additional actions to monitor the area and see if it would require more attention or if my actions were sufficient enough.

Even after he was pretty sure that this wasn’t going to turn into a big money maker for his company he still offered to come back to my house a couple days later to check the status of the moisture, or any other issues as a result, in the area. Luckily for me the actions I had taken were sufficient.
The willingness to help, honesty, and integrity that Mike showed me on behalf of Puro Clean was refreshing. You just don’t find these qualities often enough in today’s marketplace. I won’t mention the name of the other company that came out and gave me a $ 6,000 bid.
Thank you Mike for going above and beyond as well as treating me with respect and honesty. Not to mention saving me some serious money that I didn’t have.
When you call Puro Clean you may not get the same great news that I did but in any event rest assured that when they give you a plan of attack for your problem you can trust the advice and service they provide.

I am a residential property manager and have used PuroClean multiple times. They have always been pleasant and knowledgeable about the situation at hand from cleaning air ducts to dealing with leaks that came up through tile. Mike has always been very helpful to myself and my clients and has helped my clients save money. Mike is the first person I call with any major property damage.

I have always found Puroclean and Mike Rawls to be very thorough in assessing the damage and repairs that need to be provided to get the job done right. My office had a frozen pipe explode over night and flood two conference rooms with water. The rooms had beautiful bamboo flooring and I panicked fearing that $ 15,000 worth of flooring was about to curl up and go «bye bye».
I called Mike at PuroClean and he was at our office in 25 minutes AND had a plumber out in 30 minutes who got the water shut off.
They ran drying equipment and used space age drying mats that actually slurped up water from beneath the wood floor through the cracks in the bamboo flooring. It was pretty stunning to see.
His crew came after hours to set up the equipment on the days we needed the rooms for clients and they did a great job of cleaning up and locking up each time they were through.
3 days later, all the equipment was hauled out, our cleaning lady mopped and put new wax on the floor, and it was as good as new.
Mike was super patient through the insurance claim process and worked with the adjuster to get everything taken care of. I didn’t have to do a thing.
I can’t say enough good things about Mike and his crew.

My rental house flooded this past fall, along with much of South Austin. A friend recommended Puroclean. All Austin emergency restoration/​response companies were slammed at the time, so I was understanding in the amount of time they quoted me on the entire project.
Initial meeting at the house was supposed to be for Monday at 1:30. At 1:55 they texted me and told me they were 5 – 10 minutes away. I had somewhere else to be, so we rescheduled for Thursday. They said they would be able to get their crew in to start after a couple days, and be finished up 5 – 7 days later. After it was all said and done, it was 14 days later.
In that time span, The house was looted the first time it was found unlocked, after their people were the last ones that left. Yes, it could have been somebody else, however, there was no forced entry, so whomever it was had the key. Only my tenants and I have a key, and the Puroclean people. Stuff was stolen.
2 days later, the tenants come home to AGAIN, find an unlocked door. After the Puroclean guys were the last ones there. The house was left unlocked, by their workers, not once, but TWICE.
When asked about this, of course, they denied taking anything and also denied leaving the house unlocked. Aaaand the project took more than double the quoted time. When I asked for them to work with me on the pricing of the service or any kind of reimbursement for the tenants, they said no. No discount, no nothing.
Being super tardy on first meeting. That sucks, but I’m a reasonable person. Being tardy to second appointment, annoying. Leaving a house unlocked twice, RIDICULOUS. More than doubling the quoted time frame, very costly for a landlord. And all of that with no more than a sorry from the company.
I am not saying that these guys are a bunch of thieves, but carelessness can result in the same outcome.
I will absolutely not be using them again.

Mike at Puroclean was super helpful and professional. I had contacted another company and they were super flaky. After two weeks of missed appointments and un-​returned calls I tried Puroclean based on Unilocal and google reviews. Super professional and timely. Our situation was probably more extreme than most – it was a rebuild for an elderly woman who’s house flooded. Mike can in and both took care of the major water damage, dried the house and misted the house. I couldn’t have asked for nicer, more professional service. He also really educated me about what was important to take care of which was very helpful for someone like me who is not very handy or knowledgeable. I’d 100% recommend Mike and Puroclean to anyone in Austin. A+++

We have had three flood events in our homes during the past decade.
Our first very unpleasant experience was buying a home that – unbeknownst to us – had a dishwasher that had been slowly leaking into the wall. Black mold was growing inside several walls of sheetrock. The mold and water damage remediation process lasted for months and was miserable, involving a contractor who hired multiple crews who «accidentally» redid work or worse, used toxic chemicals that made us sick, waited weeks between parts of the job, etc.
The reconstruction process took almost a year, although the original estimate was three months. It involved incompetent, rude contractors who actually set fire to our house (by jamming a wire rod into our furnace while cleaning mold from the a.c. ducts), needed to repaint a room three times because they kept «forgetting» and painting it the wrong color, and destroyed a $ 2k a.c. unit (long story). And that’s just a few of the things that went wrong…
Our second experience was not as bad – but also was very unpleasant. An upstairs toilet leaked, flooded the master bedroom and closet, and leaked through the ceiling into the living room. The remediation process was a joke. The reconstruction process was miserable and included contractors installing the wrong flooring, creating a 12-​foot gouge by dragging furniture across our wood floors, etc.
Our third time around (this month) featured a backed up a.c. drainage pipe that flooded the space between the foundation and wood floors in our house. .. another slow leak situation. Our insurance company recommended Mike Rawl’s PuroClean.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A DECADE, WE ENJOYED PLEASANT, COMPETENT, HARD-​WORKING CONTRACTORS. Mike was obsessive about remediating the flood damage and mold, which was disgusting and scary; there was a black pond of water and reeking goo under the floor.
He repeatedly came out to our house even late at night to check the moisture levels in the walls. He was a perfectionist, as were his workers. He was also cost-​conscious, frugal, and sensitive to our needs (insurance did not cover the incident). Mike and his workers were wonderful about working around our complicated schedules in terms of work, kids, etc., as well.
We can’t recommend this company highly enough. Over the years, we’ve dealt with literally dozens of water-​flood/​mold remediators. Mike is the best, the ultimate. His workers are superb – polite, extremely hard-​working, caring, and effective. They arrive when they say they will. They do the work they need to do, and do it very, very well. You won’t be disappointed.
I hope we never have another water damage incident, but if we do, Mike’s PuroClean will be the first and only company we will call. Ever.
