I really wish you could just leave a no star review, as there is nothing really that bad about this place, but there is nothing great, either.
Basically, they only care about their bank account. I get that they run a business and a business is ran to make money, but when we moved into our rental house the A/​C didn’t work. I asked why it was taking so long to get a hold of the owner and the guy on the phone I spoke with immediately got defensive talking about how they’re in compliance with Texas law.
I don’t care what Texas law is, I bet if he were living in a house in Texas without A/​C he would have been just as angry as I was. He also made a comment about how if the owner doesn’t fix the A/​C he was going to let us out of the lease (if he would have stopped right there it would have been awesome) because if she didn’t replace the A/​C it would hurt his business.
So, again, all they care about is their bank account to the point that they don’t care about their clients. Also, they’ve sent out an email recently stating that it isn’t an emergency if your A/​C goes out and they don’t have to do anything for a week based off of Texas law.
So, all these guys care about is their bank, and I really hope I don’t have anything else break in my rental because I don’t want to hear them complain about how they’re within Texas law.

I moved into a duplex managed by PowerHouse Property Partners last month, and they have been nothing but stellar so far. They’ve been incredibly responsive to our needs and have a simple online interface to request work orders and pay rent (Hooray 21^st Century!). These guys are the best property managers I’ve had in my many years as an Austin renter by leaps and bounds.
