They did an amazing job on my Persian cat, Princeton. His best haircut by far! Symmetrical, clean, even. And Prince came back in a great mood!

So happy to find a cat groomer in Austin! We moved here from San Francisco and were sad to leave our groomer of the past 5 years. I decided to take my cat, King Darius, to Plush Pad after reading their rave reviews.
Setting up an appointment was easy and fast. They did an excellent job on King Darius’s lion cut. (See photo in the photo album.) We are very happy customers and so grateful for finding a friendly and professional cat groomer in this area. Thank you so much! We will be back for future appointments.

I couldn’t be happier with the results that Sandra produced with my little golden doodle puppy. He looks absolutely beautiful and it was worth every penny. Removing all the mats without shaving him was really tedious work. I am so grateful. Thanks, Sandra!

I’ve been to many groomers here in Austin, but after bringing my dogs to Plush Pad I haven’t gone to any others. This is a local family owned business. Their prices are very fair, and they always go the extra mile. They clean areas of the dogs that I’d rather not mention by name, and they do a great job at grooming the dog’s paws — some of the other groomers had ignored their paws. They are always friendly and down to earth, but most important is that my dogs seem very happy with them.

I moved north so I needed to find a new groomer and my dog was a mess by the time I decided on one. I took him to Plush Pad and they did such a great job with his cut I am really happy. I will be telling others to go here for sure!

I brought my dog and cat into Plush Pad yesterday for a grooming appointment. I have a long haired cat and a sheepdog, so it’s a lot of hair to maintain — They were able to get me in for a same day appointment and get all of the matting out of my poor cats legs!
On the way out they even gave my little guys a toy. Friendly Staff and great service.

She had to take a sedative due to very high anxiety prior to her appointment and she was still not happy ! Plush Pad did an excellent job getting her in and out very quickly, the staff was very accommodating with her, and me. On top of it they did an excellent job, I appreciate you Plush Pad!

I have been trying different places for a while trying to find a fit. I’ve tried big shops to little shops to mobile grooming. Plush Pad did a great job grooming my maltipoo! He looked Fantastic! I really liked the comfortable and homey atmosphere. You could tell that they love the animals that they groom. My dog felt comfortable and didn’t come home with bad habits or super stressed and it is the best cut that he has ever had. The price was a little higher than I have paid in the past but not much and frankly worth it! Great job Plush Pad!

I can’t endorse this establishment enough! I took both of my cats here for the dreaded «lion cut» today… and boy oh boy was I bowled over when I picked ‘em up, they looked AMAZING! I can’t heap enough praise on these fine folks, outstandingly and exceedingly recommended!

This is the only place that can and will groom my mean old cat! My long haired cat is 18 now and as you can imagine, she’s not too great at grooming herself anymore. Once a year, they give her a «lion cut» for our amusement and her great relief. These people are saints! Sometimes my cat is great but once she bit somebody but good… but they never banned her. They just make sure two groomers are on hand for her. Plush Pad does a great job on my dog, too and he’s a wiggler.

i took my 3yr old ragdoll to plush pad for his very first lions cut and bath experience ever & as far as I can tell, he loved it. wasn’t nervous at all dropping him off, the environment is welcoming and smells nice and clean. It took about 3 hours for this deluxe package and cost me 86 $ & I was impressed with that. when I picked up my cat, he wasn’t nervous or upset. he was calm and really seemed to leave taken to the treatment alright. was initially worried he would be traumatized by his haircut but he’s home now, strutting around, back to normal. this place is great! will be returning

The Plush Pad is amazing.
I have been taking my cat here for years and I can’t think of one bad thing to say about their service. My cat is not scared or tramatized by them, she actually hates the cat carrier more than she hates The Plush Pad. They always do a great job shaving her, there’s never any senstive areas or broken skin… And my kitty is a biter. She’s always so happy to be fresh smelling and free of all her oppressive thick persian fur.
It’s usually around $ 80 but it’s worth every penny. If you want your animal groomed correctly by great people then come to The Push Pad.

Been going here for 8+ YEARS now and [sadly] on my part just now giving a review of 5 stars ++++ and which is very very well deserved; Hands down they are the #1 shop in ATX for pet grooming; they’ve been doing this for more than most young Unilocalers have been alive — flexible in scheduling, giving only but white glove service and loving their animal clients as if their own. We demand and expect our furry friends are treated just as our human children would be and Plush Pad over-​delivers in these expectations with the highest quality grooming service around, high personal touch and a long term care giver relationship that can be trusted!

My cat is a himalayan and she is a very difficult cat to groom. Mainly because she uses her back claws and bites! I have taken her here twice and the first time they managed to do her with three people and no sedation, I felt bad but they did a great job!
I brought her this last week and she had been given sedation, acepromazine, she looks great! The cost is a bit much, but worth it for me, I have concrete floors and now hardly any fur anywhere! The 90 bucks is worth it! She comes out smelling great and looking great and I know they handle my tempermantle kitty well! She is normally an awesome cat, but lord, don’t groom her!

Took my cat here to be groomed. The groomer was gentle with him and did a great job. Couldn’t be happier

I saw it had 4 stars so I thought to give it a shot. Not ever bringing my dog back. They did an ok job, but they charged me almost $ 100 to shave my dog. This is not my first trip to the groomers and the most I have ever paid is $ 60. My dog is a 40 lbs boarder collie mix and $ 100 is just flat out crazy. It’s not a top fancy dog grooming place & they didn’t do a better job for $ 100 than what I get for $ 60. Too expensive just bcuz they think they can rip ppl off. Never going back there again!

I am not happy at all with Plush Pad. My Dogs are my kiddos and I Love them more than anything so when i got home from getting my Shih Tzu groomed and discovered he had a big cut under his arm I was so pissedoff. First of all they didnt even tell me and apologize and i know that he must of cried out in pain because were not talking about a small scratch here, it was huge. If they didnt over book so much maybe they would not of been in such a hurry and would not of hurt my baby.
They charge so much its insane. I really feel that they need to slow down and not be so money hungry and stop overbooking and think about the pets safety and not how many dogs they can groom in one day… Oh and they didnt even pull the hair out from his ears, and that is a big thing for Shih Tzus

We are in love with this place, they did a great job! It was a lil more than other places charge for a kitty shaving but $ 88 got him washed twice & shaved him twice & they use two people to do this unlike other places that only use 1. Thank you for taking care of our 11yr old family member/​friend :)

Terrible. They cut my dog, and I don’t mean a little knick, I mean a huge cut — and didn’t even tell me about it!!! I discovered it once I got him home. :(
I wouldn’t have had an issue with it if perhaps someone would have called and informed me of it when it happened or once I arrived to pick him up. The thing that upset me is that I had to get him home and discover it on my own. It just makes me wonder what else don’t they tell you?!

Brought my pups home from another day of pretty pooch primping with pleasing precision and positive pampering at Plush Pad.
This place has been around a long time and is locally owned and operated. These are the reasons why I keep going back:
+ They do a great job. My dogs look like they are ready for a dog show or possibly an appearance on Animal Planet each and every time I pick them up.
+ After my dogs have been groomed, they BELIEVE they are going to be in a dog show or on Animal Planet. They prance around expectantly awaiting an audience.
+ If I’m running late, they are nice about it — it’s never a problem.
+ The pups get cute little bandannas that they display proudly (a nice touch if you’re into that kind of thing).
+ When I’m dropping off or picking up, I never hear any of the groomers in the back room speaking harshly to the dogs they are working on.
+ They offer cute pet accessories.
+ And most importantly, my pups are never freaked out over having been there.
The prices are a little bit on the high side, however, I am willing to pay a little extra to get peace of mind and satisfaction knowing that my dogs are going to be well taken care of when they aren’t with me. Happy Pups, Happy Mom.
