Pinballz Arcade

I took my husband here for his birthday and we both had such a great time! The selection of games and pinball machines is vast! The old games brought back so many memories, although we can both still do without Dragon’s Lair! This is a great place for kids too! Especially the 39 year old ones!

A solid date night choice, Pinballz has a game for everyone who visits from old school Pac Man to skee ball. and a giant screen for Street Fighter! If you spend $ 20 on tokens, you get $ 2 free for some more game playing fun.
A good time for adults and kids alike. There were a good number of families when my boyfriend and I went and unlike a weekend trip to Sam’s Club there were no screaming or misbehaved kids here. I think the large space definitely lends itself to kids being able to spread out and have some good fun.
The BYOB signs were a bit confusing. Can you only bring one beer with you ever? I don’t know. But I wasn’t drinking so I wasn’t too worried about it.
I’ll definitely be back to have some revenge on my boyfriend for beating me at Street Fighter (damn him!).

Nice blend of mostly vintage arcades with a handful of new games sprinkled in. Huge selection of games.
Rampage… Gauntlet… Off Road… Street Fighter… Sopranos pinball machine which I have only seen one other time in Portland. They had the old Star Wars game, but I am still on the hunt for Return of the Jedi.
The games are not quite 25 cents but I suppose some inflation has taken place since the 80s. :)

I had very low expectations for this place because there’s no flashy lighted sign. Once I went in and opened the door I was in pinball heaven. I have never seen so many pinball machines in one place.
This is a family friend place until 9 or 10, not sure so call. There’s games for all ages. They have areas where you can host a birthday party or gathering.
My husband and I agree — for us this place tops Dave & Buster’s.

Lot’s of fun! There are tons of pinball games, as you’d expect; but, there’s also a great selection of other carnival games and video games, spanning four decades. Definitely worth the trip, even if you aren’t a skilled gamer. BYOB beer and wine leaves you more money to spend on games!

If your looking for a unique experience for all ages, this is the place! I was amazed by all of the new and vintage pinball machines. This place is a must see and I really recommend it!

This place is pretty fun, like that you can get food and drinks there. They have some pretty cool games too!

So much fun. Nostalgic, BYOB, still used tokens and you get tickets for prizes. Also kid friendly (during daytime).what more can you ask for? Will be back!!!

If you’re wondering whether this place is worth it, I’m going to tell you before I write my lengthy review: JUST GO. It is so freaking awesome. It’s up there for one of my best birthdays ever.(And I’m comparing this to my 21^st which was my first kegger ;) convinced?)
I could honestly play rampage there all night but I came here for my 25^th birthday so I had to get down on a lot more than one multiplayer game. It was only my second time here but I fell in love the first time. House of the dead games for days. An inconceivable amount of pinball machines. If you’re more of car/​vehicle racing person, there’s Mario racing, motorcycle racing, and plenty of others. Street fighter. YES. Air hockey, dance dance. All of it. Plenty of other old games, battle toads, older Nintendo games. Let’s just go ahead and say, I stayed there for four hours and did not get to play all I wanted to.
It’s alcohol friendly but you can only bring in one at a time which is totally fine. It’s cool that it’s byob at all.
Did encounter a couple times that the Mario racing karts randomly shut down or didn’t sync up correctly so I could play my friends but the staff was on it immediately. Nothing else you can expect.
My friends are sweethearts and gave me all of their hard earned tickets (lol) so I could get myself a decent prize. Do not expect anything too cool with your tickets. But at that point I was almost a 6 pack deep and more than stoked to get my knock off ty beanie baby type husky mom with a baby husky sewn on top of her. Then I bought my friends little bouncy balls with the very few remaining tickets I had left.
The money part: I walked in, popped a twenty in the token machine and they lasted me all four hours. Just because I love rampage doesn’t mean I’m good. I’m horrible, so I easily burned through a quarter of the amount I had. No problem, plenty of coins to go around. Point is, $ 20 of coins is an insane amount.
If you’re looking to go alone and waste time or going with a group of friends, either way, you’re in for a great time.

Just be happy there is a place we can still play these marvelous games.
Twilight Zone and Elvira’s Scared Stiff are a must play.
However, I’ve noticed many of the games aren’t in perfect shape, which is odd considering they also sell and repair pins.
Twilight Zone is missing the gum balls and ceramic pinball… which should be there no doubt.
And their prices? Kinda high. Even older pins are
.50 (2 coins), unless you play the horrible hula pin by the door.
Parking I’m sure is real weinerish on weekends.

This place is HUGE! I’m impressed by how many freakin pinball machines they have in there! They also have a great selection of regular, classic arcade games! For $ 15 you can get 60 tokens, which isn’t bad actually. I read reviews that said it was hot in there but honestly it wasn’t hot at all. They had the
A/​C going and fans on as well. It’s a great way to spend a hot day! I would totally come back!

Games and stuff yay! I’ve been to Pinballz a few times over the past couple years and have had a blast each time. The place is BYOB, which of course adds to the fun. However, we found out this most recent visit that containers of unidentified beverages are not allowed. The staff said that you can bring beer or wine, but it needs to be in a can or bottle and should be labeled as such.
Pinballz has a big variety of games ranging from a bazillion (not really) pinball machines (thus the name), newer games like subway surfer, the games that take all of your tokens and give you tickets for useless stuff (my personal favorite), racing games like mario kart, and they even have one of those boxes where you get in and money flies around (except it’s filled with tickets and not money and I’m not sure I’d really want to get in it anyway). Some of the games have been there for the past couple of years and some others are new, which seems like a good quality for an arcade to have.
The only thing to be mindful of, it can get really hot inside of the building because of all of the games. The past few times I’ve been, it hasn’t been bad, but I still wouldn’t suggest wearing jeans and a sweatshirt.

Pinballz Arcade is just… So. Much. Fun.
Arcade is just always awesome and I can unequivocally say that Pinballz is among the best I have been to. Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, different kinds of pinball and other fun games can be found here.
Going to Pinballz ranks among the best vacation decisions I have ever made. Sharing what preoccupied my free time when I was her age with the daughter is just something special that I cannot eloquently put into words.
Stop by with your favorite people, and I guarantee you would be hard-​pressed to leave without grinning from ear-​to-​ear.

It’s old fashion fun away from hot hot sun. It’s for kids and adults. You can bring in beer and drink all you like in there and play pinball and arcade games. With the help of from friends we won enough tickets get a «Likable girl.»

Ahhhhhh the best!!! Hubby and I spontaneously went into Pinballz Sunday evening to finish off the best day. We went in with 4 quarters in hand because he just wanted to play a few… so we walked through and looked at alllll the games. Not just pinball games! I mean, mainly pinball games but there were plenty of others. You can even win tickets with some of the games. We looked around for an ATM, decided there wasn’t one, ran out the door to get to the bank, and came right back.
We played $ 20 worth of pinball games, retro games like Galaga and Space Invaders, and air hockey! We even played some Soul Calibur (which I TOTALLY dominated him on) and Mortal Kombat.
We didn’t indulge in the food they offer there and didn’t play for tickets or even really glance much at the prizes. This place would be great for a family outing or a spunky spontaneous date like we had. It’s BYOB too, so ya know, bring some drink and a few friends! And don’t be a fool like us… there’s totally an ATM. It’s on the left when you walk past the concession stands in a small hallway. :/

I have never really played on real pinball machines so when my little sis was in town, my friend christina suggested this as a spot to check out. Plus it’s BYOB so win/​win there.
They have so many machines, when you first walk in you will be a little overwhelmed with the sights and sounds and slightly funky smell from sweaty pinball aficionados. At least I was… they also have a sweet collection of old school arcade games and cheesy games you play to win tokens.
Most games are 75 cents… so $ 10 – 20 will get you a long way, especially if you aren’t as horrible of a player as I was. I really enjoyed the older pinball machines from the 70s and 80s, also there is a very wise Zoltar by the entrance that gives you some great life advice for less than $ 2.
We also enjoyed playing the shoot em up games, racing games… I forgot how much I loved playing mario kart and a throwback from my childhood of Gauntlet.
I loved it all, brings back some good memories and I got a little work out from hitting the side buttons on the pinballz machines.

OK holy mother of the death star f#&k! Do not come here during spring break if your nose can detect the scent of patchouli. Damn this shit stinks and I pray my kids understand the nasty smell. My Bad! Some kids in there smelled like a bath wasn’t an option… wtf!
OK so that is not a hit on the establishment. This is one of the best places for kids and anyone else for that matter who love video games. I counted maybe 3 «out of order“signs on… well damn more video games than I could count. The staff were very friendly as well!

Has anyone seen the deaf, dumb, and blind kid who sure plays a mean pinball? I haven’t seen him yet, but I’ve heard he’s quite the pinball wizard.
Pinballz is great for any occasion. Having a birthday? Celebrate here! Remember that dude you saw on OkCupid who sent you a message, but you forgot to respond (or chose not to respond), and now you see someone who looks suspiciously like him? Yeah, he’s on a first date here. (And he keeps looking at you, right? You’re not just seeing things, right? He’s probably thinking the same thing about you.)
Remember that time you went on a first date here with a MIT graduate and he bet you $ 100 you couldn’t beat him in air hockey and then you kicked his ass? Yeah, that was pretty sweet.
Remember when you used to play DDR and you were actually pretty decent? Yeah, that skill doesn’t exactly hold up well over the years, but it is fun to play and see a shred of your old talent.
Remember when you got the jackpot in skee ball? Haha, that happens every time. (Seriously. I’m the skee ball wizard.)
Did he just look at you again? Maybe you should just go tell him that yeah, you’re that girl from OkC and you’re sorry for not responding, but you just really hate dating. Maybe you would have considered going on a date if it was to Pinballz, but let’s be honest — it was probably not going to get to first date territory, anyway. Nothing against you, dear, I’m just weird and tend toward hermitry. Besides, you should be paying attention to your current date. I know, you’ve imagined this grand future for us, but I’m stubborn and you’ll grow to resent my need to always be right. Just trust me. She looks cute! Go let her win at something.
My single complaint is that I cannot take my empty cans or bottles home in order to recycle them. I have to throw them away and that really hurts my heart and the environment. This is mitigated by the fact that I can even bring my own beer here in the first place, but Mother Nature is still weeping.
You know what’s a swell idea? Pinballz, you should make koozies and let me trade my tickets in for them. That would be so fetch.
Until then, don’t mind me — I’ll just be getting the jackpot in skee ball, avoiding dudes from OkC.

Who drives 130 miles from out of town with their son in tow just to experience the arcade frenzy again? I do! It’s an excellent place for a father/​son outting if you aren’t a fisher or other outdoor venues.
We did not know what to expect when we finally made it and found a spot in the small and crowded parking lot it looks like a little warehouse sort of.
Once you get through the door immediately look over at your kid’s eyes to see cartoon like eye balls popping out. You are transformed into another world, the young 80’s world where arcades this size were everywhere.
There is something here for all ages and both genders. Pinball machines, Cabaret machines, air hockey, snack bar, old games, new games, cheap games, $ 10k games and yes, you can buy most of them. The reston they probably don’t have all of them for sale is because there are games that are pretty rare or are a dying breed and they know that it is a smart ideal to keep those.
I would say that over 50 percent of the machines here are pinball related and one special note is you have to play that gigantic pinball machine to the left when you enter the door. It’s the size of a small pool table and guess what it uses as it’s ball? Yep, a cue ball… or at least something equal to that but I swear it’s a cue ball.
There are many machines that can be bought here with about 20% down. Each machine varies from about $ 3k to $ 8k average. It is a very nice note that they put what year that that machine came out, helps you imagine and have respect for how long that machine has survived.
They have a BYOB policy here where you are only supposed to be allowed to bring in one drink at a time but I saw people bringing in small coolers as we were walking out. I do not know how they were allowed but oh well.
Hungry?There is a refreshment stand with your junk food staples, pizza, hot dogs, drinks and candies. No outside food is allowed in here. There is a small seating area for you to eat.
Restrooms…well it’s an arcade not a Buc ee’s so bring your Lysol and try not to touch anything else on the way out.
No wifi here for their customers, booo!
Your best bet as in money/​token deals here are to just slip in your $ 20 and get out 33 tokens. Most machines here take 3 or 4 tokens for 1 play but there are a few dozen that’ll take 2 and that would be the old school ones that people don’t play much of. They are still fun though.
Don’t expect cheery workers from here or a lot of help but you’re here to play right? It would be nice if they enforced the «no kids running around the machine» rule, I guess that is why they have the 18 and older till close posted for that.
