They’re great! I usually forget to pick my stuff up, so I can’t say if they do things quickly. Every so often I’m missing a garment though(not missing like it’s been lost — for whatever reason it got separated and they ask me to come back another day).

Mina does a great, quick job with all of our alterations and dry cleaning! She runs the place on her own and does all of the work herself. We have never had any issues with her besides not having something ready on the day the ticket said(it wasn’t urgent– no biggie). We drive 15 minutes just to get to her as none of the dry cleaners near our house even compare!

From what I can tell, Mina owns and operates this place single-handedly and I have always been more than pleased with her work, turn around time, prices and customer service. I’m short, so I have to get most of my jeans hemmed and she always gets the job done well and quickly. It’s around $ 8 for a regular hem and around $ 16 for an original hem. I haven’t found anywhere else locally that can beat that price. My items are always ready to be picked up within 2 – 3 days, which is also much quicker than other places in the area. If you need something done quicker, or within a particular time frame, she is more than willing to work with you too. I have a guilty pleasure for expensive, designer jeans, and feel fully confident leaving my clothing in her care. I’ve also had her dry clean a couple of dresses for me and again, prices are more than reasonable. I think it was between $ 7 and $ 8 per dress. All the spots and stains were removed when I got my dresses back and I never had any problems with anything being damaged or anything like that. Also, once again, everything was taken care of in a prompt and timely manner. My items were ready for me to pick up within the time she originally quoted me. Mina is also very sweet and provides great customer service. She is more than happy to give her professional opinion on what looks good and what needs to be done as far as alterations go. The second time I came in to get some jeans hemmed again, she even remembered me by name. This place definitely deserves a five-star review. I’d certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a dry cleaner or tailor in the area!

They lost my wedding suit jacket and have been dragging us around for weeks without giving us the money to replace the jacket. The store I bought the jacket from has now been shut down in Austin so I am not even sure if I can find the same one. This was my first suit jacket I bought and the one and only suit I had on my wedding day. Now it is gone. Do not use these people.

I’ve been here 4 times; incredibly, each and every time she has managed to mess it up somehow. Pretty amazing; first time, she managed to loose my order; then forgot about the next one; then left my laundry in her car, and lost her key; perhaps all just extenuating circumstances — but every single time? I’m done.

They were doing a good job on some of my less expensive clothing so when I dropped our wedding attire off after our wedding I was confident they would do a good job… but they lost my husbands $ 400 wedding suit jacket, it has been 5 days since we picked up the rest of the clothes and we had to call them to follow up and they said they would look into it and call us tomorrow. This is getting ridiculous. Edited to add : They have been handling the loss of our jacket horribly, they say they’re going to call and don’t and it’s now been a week and a half and they want us to wait another 4 days to see if they can find it. I cannot believe how poor this customer service has been for the loss of something that had so much sentimental value to us(and was expensive).

Have you ever noticed how dry cleaning is SO expensive in Austin? I have been searching for years for a place that is local and not mindbogglingly pricey! Finally found Perfect Fit and this place is great. It’s not cheap, but it’s cheaper by a lot than other places and they do a great job. The owner is really sweet and I like how it’s privately owned. I haven’t tried her for alterations but that’s next on my list.

For dry cleaning: quick and reasonably priced. For tailoring: would not recommend. When I dropped off a dress and a cardigan to be tailored, I overheard another customer ask for his goods back because they had taken too long to be finished. I decided to continue anyway… my pieces were to be finished in a week. I come back 2 weeks later, and the owner hadn’t even started working on them… I come back ANOTHER2 weeks later and they still hadn’t been worked on. Got my things back and went somewhere else.

Very pleasant woman working there. Not too expensive and very quickly done! I’ll be returning there for any cleaning/alteration needs.

Woohoo! This is as good as it gets. I am admittedly biased, as Mina is right around the corner from my house. She is enthusiastic about her business and definitely seeks to keep her customers happy. I haven’t used her for alterations yet but I certainly will. Much to my TREMENDOUS joy, Perfect Fit does fluff and fold laundry. I forget what to cost, as I readily paid for the convenience. If you live in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by.
