I worked with Lori when I was dog-​sitting my brother’s recently adopted pup for a few months. Chera was a lovely dog, but had a problem with my 15 year old cat that Lori helped me to address. Given the age of my cat and how aggressive the dog’s behavior was, I had some serious concerns about how much good training would do (and how much it would stress out the cat). Lori has a personality that Chera immediately responded well to — I lacked the confidence in my training abilities to say «sit» with any real conviction, but Chera immediately respected Lori. Using only positive reinforcement she worked on the basics with Chera before introducing her to the cat. It was as low stress as it could have been and Lori was very accommodating of my work schedule and the need to get Chera trained up fast!

She’s the person you want if, like me, you worry a dog sitter might not care as much as you’d like, or if you have any worries while away. With Lori you can be guaranteed the most excellent attention to your animals. She sends texts to me when she visits, hangs out with them so they don’t just get a quick hello and goodbye, and at the end of the day Lori genuinely loves animals and will treat yours like they’re hers. Couldn’t recommend her more. She always goes out of her way to make sure the owners are comforted that everything is going great, complete with pictures and whatever you need.
When you need a pet sitter, Lori and Paws2Paws is honestly as good as it gets.

I’m not usually in the habit of reviewing services I have yet to experience, but I’ll make an exception in this instance. I attempted to schedule a grooming appointment for my dog not once but twice. The first try was a Wednesday but I was told the groomer was out of town & we’d need to reschedule. We set the new appointment for the following Friday. About 90 minutes before the appointment I called Lori to get confirmation only to be told that the groomer was still out of town & would be unable to make the appointment. Had I been told on Wednesday that it wouldn’t have worked that week I could’ve made alternative plans to have my dog groomed before we went out of town for Christmas. Instead it was too late to make any other arrangements. I understand that stuff happens, but to have two appointments cancelled in one week & with such short notice… it seems unprofessional.
I’ll be looking for a more reliable groomer after the holidays.
Update: As of 6:10 pm on Friday Dec. 19, Lori contacted me via phone telling me I was unprofessional & had questionable character by posting a bad review of her business. She also threatened to file a police report if I contact her again. Is this what it’s come to? You get a bad review & you have to make idle threats? I’m sorry the people you’ve hired & contracted to work for you are unreliable, but this was arranged through your business. I contacted you for an appointment. You made all the arrangements. I never heard from her groomer. She accepted the appointment through her business. Therefore you’re the responsible party.
I hope other people have a better experience than I had going forward. Absolutely buyer beware with this one!

I recently met Lori at the Barton Creek Farmers Market. We started chatting and in addition to pet sitting, dog day care and other services, I discovered that she did dog grooming AND she comes to your house. My dog Leroy was with me and I asked how much for bath and nails. Her prices were comparable to those local chain groomers in the pet stores without all the drama of bringing them there, having them kenneled and leaving.
I took her card and scheduled an appointment, which happened this afternoon. I asked her what she would need, and she said she brought most of her own stuff and just asked that I provide the towels. She is however, happy to use any products you wish to provide.
Lori texted me a day before, and arrived promptly at the designated time. While she was bathing them, I could hear her sweetly talking to them and keeping them calm and happy during their baths, drying and nail trim. She treated them like they were her dogs.
Within an hour and a half, I had two freshly washed, nail trimmed, happy dogs. Leroy and Ivy are stylin’ now! Woof!
I had her use my guest bath (but you can have her also bathe them outside). When she was finished, she cleaned up the area thoroughly and I had the sweet smell of clean dogs.
So if you are like me, and need a little help with the fur kids, I suggest you give Lori at Paws2Paws a call. Leroy and Ivy each give Paws2Paws 5 paws up!

Just used Lori for the first time. My dog likes Lori more than she likes me! Lori is great with the pup and has a great time playing and having fun. It’s nice to get pictures as well to see how much fun the pup is having.

Lori has been helping me with my dogs for years now and they love her like she’s part of the pack! If I know I’m going to have a long workday I will just shoot Lori a text or give her a call that morning and she is almost always available to visit my dogs for a walk that day. She doesn’t just walk them though, she interacts with them, giving them love and exercise. And when my dogs need grooming she does that too… right in the comfort of your own home so you or your pets don’t need to stress about a trip to the groomers.

Lori has been per sitting for me for a couple of years now and she is so enthusiastic about her work. She is great at getting my dog plenty of exercise.
Also, my dog is not that friendly, but she has never had any trouble handling her, getting in the house, or making friends with her. She is very mindful of my dog’s limitations in socializing with other dogs and I definitely feel like everything is going to be ok when I have to leave my dog in her care.

Lori is a natural :) My pups looooove her! She gets the little dogs and loves on them like they were her own.

I have used this service and it was everything I hoped for. Lori truly cares about animals. My dog Duke and her hit it off from the very beginning. The rate is affordable and it was nice to be able to have her come to my house. My dog is much older so bringing him to a kennel was not an option. Lori is a very trustworthy individual.
