At Nine Muses Studio we believe anyone can be a musician. If you have a passion for music and a willingness to learn, you can become a great singer.

Nine Muses Studio teaches a variety of styles, including classical, musical theater, jazz, and various contemporary genres. Located in South Austin, Nine Muses directs students on a path to becoming better musicians. Instruction includes vocal technique, breath support, musicality, music theory, and performance technique. Recitals throughout the year offer a chance for each student to practice performing for an audience and also provide an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate their progress.

History

Established in 2011.

Started in the fall of 2011, voice instructor Kylah Magee started her private studio in an effort to teach what she believed was missing from her early days of voice training: a thorough knowledge of music and the physiology of the voice, and the confidence to try anything. Her first voice lessons began when she was 12 and she has been training her voice, learning new techniques, and strengthening her knowledge and skills for more than 20 years.
