I started coming to Mint and Thyme to get my amazing volume lashes with Kaelyn! She has been doing my lashes for a long time and after nearly giving up on lashes from all these bad experiences from lash bars and salons… SHE came to my rescue. Kaelyn is the ONLY person I trust to come near my eyes! It is not only her professionalism and experience that will win you over but her sweet personality to give each client results they are delighted with. I did a review on Kaelyn on her Unilocal page –Lash Gal Austin. Kaelyn recommended Ashley to me as she knew I was obsessed with all treatments and services, skin and anti-​aging related! I get skin facials 1 – 2 times a month and have a lot of experience with medical clinics and spas. Rest assured, there is no need to look any further. This is the only skin destination for me! In 11 years in Austin, I have never felt the urge to write a review after a facial! the most wonderful experience! I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley and truly appreciate her vast knowledge and expertise! my facial/​dermaplaning was one of the best I have ever had! Ashley’s magic entails so much more than the basic facial, it was very personalized and unique to my skin needs. If you are looking for someone who really understands skin and who will take time to assess it then don’t hesitate and book an appointment.

I called Mint and Thyme and simply stated that I was looking to get a facial and they were able to fit me in for the afternoon. I’ve only ever had one previously, so wasn’t sure what to ask for or expect.
I arrived a few minutes before my appointment to fill out a form — It went through a fairly detailed list of concerns/​thoughts and skincare desires. My aesthetician, Ashley, carefully reviewed the information and we sat and discussed thoroughly. She immediately picked up on some symptoms I had been working to address and made recommendations for further care (i.e. Acupuncture).
The room itself was cute and cozy. The bed is comfortable and they have this awesome warm jelly pillow (I need one, and they sell them!).
The facial itself was… magical. There were several parts to it, including a lactic peel, oxygen, and all sorts of wonderful smelling concoctions. Ashley also recommended (and performed) a simple type of hair removal in the process and even cleaned up my brows. The best part, besides the nearly painless extractions, was the massage! I had a massage earlier in the day, but I was happy to receive another. She focused on my neck and shoulders; and not a half-​assed «I have to do this» thing, she really worked the kinks. She’s amazing at it and uses the time where she has hot or cold presses on your face; so you don’t feel as if you’re paying for a facial you’re not getting.
Afterwards Ashley took time to walk me through a suggested skincare regimen and offered some samples — no sales pitch. When I inquired about monthly scheduling she offered more budget friendly options.
$ 65 for the facial, $ 30 for the dermaplaning (hair removal) and I was in there for about 90 glorious minutes. Ashley is stellar, I will be back.

Easy parking, quiet neighborhood and easy to find. My facial from Ashley Farr today was amazing! She always takes care of me and knows exactly what my skin needs. Trisha and Stephanie are amazing too! Cheap prices, quality products and a super cute spa:) definitely a forever customer.

Stephanie is wonderful! I have been going to her about once every 6 weeks for facials and I’m very happy with the results. The texture of my skin is softer than before and I have fewer breakouts. Stephanie’s facial has the perfect balance of relaxation and skin clearing techniques and is priced reasonably. I love the facility as well — it’s centrally located, very relaxing and everything is very clean and tidy!

I have been seeing Trisha for years. She does my facials, she sets my skin care regimen, and did my laser hair removal. I trust her 100% and recommend her every chance I get. After treatments, people always comment on my skin. It has made such a difference in my face. Even after I moved away from Austin, I see Trisha each time I go back. Mint and Thyme is a comfortable, boutique place with great people running it. Love this place and supporting women in small business.

I just love this place. I have been going to Ashley for years and when she struck out on her own to start a new place, of course I followed her! She is incredibly knowledgeable about a variety of topics.
First of all, my face has never looked better! She only uses natural products she believes in and uses herself. She never pushes products, only recommends things specifically for your skin. Secondly, I started seeing her for acupuncture to holistically treat fertility issues and hormone rebalancing and it’s been just great and has helped me a lot. She’s recommended some herbs and alternative therapies for my specific situation. I really feel that she truly cares about her clients. I have confidently recommended her to family and friends. She’s fantastic!

Trisha has been my go-​to Esthetician for years! She knows her way around a face and always makes me feel comfortable when I’m in there. She recently relocated to her own company– which is Mint and Thyme– from a larger salon and I followed her in a heartbeat.
She has also done laser hair removal for me.
Absolutely recommend her! I try to go in for quick-​treatment facials as often as I can, which used to be every two weeks, but after having a baby, it’s now unfortunately once every two months… If I’m lucky. But I’m always looking forward to the next time!

Being an Esthetician myself, I really admire what these girls have going on. Their spa atmosphere is beautiful. It’s hard for me to let people work on my skin, but I trust these women to give me a very thorough and effective treatment every time. They have all sorts of different treatments that they will customize for you. I have been in for BOTOX, a laser facial for my breakouts, and in a couple of weeks I’ll be back for a facial. So proud of this local and women owned business!

I’ve been going to Trisha Lewis for my skincare for years and as a lifelong facial devotee I can say she’s the best esthetician I’ve ever gone to. Anywhere. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and I’m thrilled that she’s opened her own spa. This is a spa that is true to Austin’s culture & Trisha’s personality: it is laid back and anyone would feel comfortable there — and get treated the same whether a celebrity or a first-​time customer. And at the same time its décor is tasteful and the services world class.

When these women disappeared from the local esthetician landscape a few months ago, I almost cried. I’m not a «facial regular» — but when I get one, I want it to be with someone I trust. (Especially if that laser machine is involved.) Stephanie was — hands down — the finest IPL facial pro I’d found in Austin. No contest. I jumped for joy when this new business came up in conversation with two friends (who know their facials). I practically ran to my computer to see if it was true — there was Stephanie! I booked an appointment immediately. The place is lovely, the vibe is sweet, the estheticians are the best. Trisha, Ashley, and Stephanie all have reputations, experience, and skill you can depend on. Don’t hesitate to go. You’ll be helping launch a new business… AND treating yourself to the best beauty boost in town. I promise.

Ashley is my go-​to gal for all things skin. I was never much of a facial person, always opting for a massage when I found myself craving some pampering, but Ashley converted me. My skin has never looked better. She only uses product lines that she believes in, never pushes product or services on you, takes the time to figure out your skincare needs, and provides a custom facial complete with a gentle peel and oxygen. She has the most calming presence and is so knowledgeable. Plus, she has a masters degree in acupuncture, so she can treat your aches, pains, fertility, and the like. I completely trust Ashley to take the best possible care of me whenever I come in for a visit.
Ashley and several colleagues just struck out on their own to open Mint and Thyme, which is a cute-​as-​can-​be space tucked away in an unassuming building conveniently located in central Austin between Lamar and Guadalupe. Great customer service, reasonable rates, and a wide range of treatments. What more can you ask for?

I have had the privilege of being treated by Ashley for a few years now with facials, laser treatments, acupuncture and now some Chinese herbs. I trust her and all of her knowledge and experience to always make my face beautiful again, and to help me control my symptoms of PCOS holistically.
If you have any kind of muscle pain or back pain she will have you feeling brand new again with her gently placed acupuncture needles. She has treated multiple members of my family for injured muscles and has been successful at relieving their pain with only one treatment!
These ladies have opened one of the most beautiful, quaint, and welcoming spas I have visited. The atmosphere is peaceful and warm feeling unlike some very sterile, cold and contemporary and sometime chaotic places I’ve gone to previously. I am also a big fan of some of the new products they have chosen, left with my face feeling so clean and soft.
I can hardly wait to go back for another visit to enjoy my hour of serenity!

Trisha has been taking care of my skin for many years. I am so thrilled these ladies have their own place. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment as soon as you can. I have very sensitive skin and Trisha always takes that into account. You will get an amazing and relaxing facial.

Just had a great facial with Stephanie at Mint & Thyme. They have beautiful surroundings and first class professionalism. Prices are reasonable and they are very prompt so no waiting. I’m on board to become a regular customer. Stephanie knows my skin and never hesitates to provide those little extras to pamper me and help my skin be the best it can be. I have even been able to go off of medication for my skin due to her care. I highly recommend this holistic spa to anyone interested in beautiful skin.

I have been going to Trisha for my skincare needs since 2009 and I look forward to every visit. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable, but she is also very relaxing and caring. She has an amazing touch and if you haven’t had a hot essential oil scalp massage from her you are missing out. I may need to eat better and hop on the elliptical more than I do but I must say that I always get compliments on my skin. I take my skincare seriously and I know that means doing my part at home but also seeing pros like the ladies at Mint and Thyme. You can book an appointment at 2 in the morning wearing no pants if you want to but wear pants to the appointment. It’s not cool to be in public with no pants.

Ashley is the best thing that has ever happened to my skin. I have been going to her for over two years and am excited she opened her own practice. I am very particular about who I let touch my skin (it is very sensitive and I easily get breakouts) and Ashley has helped my skin immensely though facials and IPLs. She is also very reasonably priced.

I don’t know how to begin to describe how wonderful the services these girls offer are. I have had the good fortune of having services by all of them over the past several years, so I will just share my experiences with each of them:
There is only one person I trust to do do my Botox in the entire country and that person is Ashely (did I mention I work for company that trains people how to do Botox, and I could easily get it for free… but I choose to pay Ashley… cuz she is JUST THAT GOOD!) (I also live in another state but still choose to have her do it) I have also had facials, laser hair removal, and IPLs from her as well. I have yet to get acupuncture, but she is the go to person of all of my friends, and I can’t wait to try it.
Trisha gave me one of the most amazing facials I have ever had in my life, with a head massage that put me to sleep. She also is quite the expert with the laser, she is very professional, and knows exactly what she is doing. When you get a treatment from her, you know you are getting a safe treatment from someone with the proper training who takes your safety seriously, while getting you the results you want. I cannot tell you how great it is not having to shave anymore.
When it came time to choose someone to do my wedding makeup, only one name came to mind: STEPHANIE. I know she will bring out my best features, while hiding my not so great ones, and I wont come out looking like a streetwalker. She also gives a great facial with a fabulous shoulder massage. I also seen her for IPL and for laser over the years, and I can assure you: she is professional and amazing. There is a reason she has such a loyal following of clients who love her.
I know this may sound a little too positive, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I have been to spas that cost four times as much, and they cannot live up to these ladies. If I absolutely must say something negative, then here it is: I wish I lived closer so I could still see them every month. Until then, I will take the visits when I can. They are worth flying in for.
