We contacted Ross because of all the awesome reviews he had on multiple sites. I was very torn about hiring a dj for our wedding because I did not want any cheesy music or dances. My fiancé met with Ross and was very impressed by his professionalism and style. He provides you with an awesome website where you can choose your music and let him know what songs are a definite «no». You provide him with the details of your ceremony and reception as well on his website. Right before your wedding he will call you to double check the details with you. When he arrived at our wedding for set up, he even offered to help us with last minute decorations. He kept our ceremony running smoothly and played all of our must have songs. My fiancé and I had a lot of anxiety about doing a first dance with all eyes on us, but Ross understood and offered us some scenarios to make things easier on us. Another worry was satisfying the mix of guests at our wedding. My fiancé’s family are British and Australian and my family are Tex Mex both who are used to different wedding styles. The variety of music we requested was perfectly mixed and felt very natural. He got the vibe and theme or our wedding down perfect. We received so many compliments on his playlist and the venue owners wanted to add him to their recommended vendor list. As a bonus he sent us the complete downloadable playlist as a keepsake. It really was such a relief to have a professional like Ross take care of us on our special day. His services are worth it!

Where do I even begin? Ross at Look No Further Entertainment is by far the BEST DJ I have ever worked with! It was important to my husband and I that our guests dance the night away and we really just wanted everyone, of all ages, to have the best time — our dance floor was packed ALL night! Ross listened to our preferences and requests and exceeded our expectations! Not only that, but he also followed up with an audio link to the recorded ceremony vows, the toasts and the music that played throughout the entire night… talk about reliving the night and being able to truly cherish the unforgettable memories made at your wedding with your loved ones! You are making the wrong decision if you do not hire this company for your entertainment!!! :)

Ric was our DJ and it was GREAT! He setup his equipment and lighting promptly and kept the party going all night long. I highly recommend using his for your wedding or any special event. You will not be disappointed :)

I was just looking at my reviews and saw that I did one for my wedding make-​up artist but never actually reviewed a huge part of my special day — the DJ! I can’t tell you how many times I have asked people who the DJ is for their wedding and am sad if they already booked someone other than Ross because I feel like they are totally missing out!
I really, really, really didn’t want a cheesy DJ (i.e. no chicken dances, electric slides, etc.) I wanted someone cool and hip. He was actually a recommendation from our photographer and from the second I met him– I knew he was the man for us.
He was so cool, professional and totally on it. Everything was SEAMLESS. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night — literally EVERYONE. You could either blame it on the a a a a a a alcohol — or just our AWESOME DJ.
Do yourself a favor, book him for your event. I promise you will be soo happy you did.

Every wedding DJ should be like Ross. He was truly interested in our musical interests, and he helped fill in the gaps to create the perfect wedding for us. He even sent us a recording of the entire reception the day after the wedding!

Planning a wedding long distance presents certain challenges, but Ross at Look No Further Entertainment alleviated all of those concerns. From the get-​go, he was accessible, professional, and just an all-​around pleasant person.
Having searched the internet for the best of the best, we found Ross and set up a Skype interview to talk through his style and process. We were blown away by the amount of prep he’s done for his craft. He had great insight into not only how music affects a party, but also what makes a great environment, how people react to certain elements, etc. This guy knew his stuff and it was evident right away.
He then was able to provide contracts, wedding music prep tools, etc online which made it incredibly easy to plan for.
Throughout the process he worked with us to craft a plan for how we were going to incorporate all the different genres we wanted represented — from jazz, country, tejano — to new wave, pop, rap — Ross never broke a sweat.
For the big day, Ross and his associate came early, evaluated the space, made adjustments, and knew what to do without coordination, which was less stress on me as the bride. He set up lights too which completely transformed my venue.
The music was PERFECT for both ceremony and reception! The crowd was dancing non-​stop. We even had Ross play videos throughout the ceremony which were executed flawlessly. He was able to read the crowd to ensure everyone was having a good time.
On a personal note, my wedding coordinator turned out to be a dud so I really relied a lot on Ross for helping me keep on the timeline. He proved to be more valuable than my actual planner in terms of making sure we were on track. I seriously couldn’t have done it without his professionalism.
And then we got the best treat — a recording of the ceremony and reception so we could relieve the day!
I can’t speak highly enough of him, and I am a picky person. Do not hesitate to book this DJ especially if you’re looking for no-​hassles and every assurance that things are going to turn out spectacularly.

Keith was the dj for our April wedding at Vintage Villas. We originally had booked with Ross but he had some prior engagement so he turned us over to Keith. It worked out just fine and maybe even better because he gave us a discount and added the uplighting for free to make up for our inconvenience.
Both Ross and Keith were very personable in our interviews with them. I was a bit worried in the beginning since Keith had not dj’ed at our venue before but when he arrived he was able to set up and move around just fine. He played the songs requested by our friends which they really appreciated. He was able to read the crowd pretty well and played songs that the guests were actually dancing to. Keith also worked witH my dad in playing the specific version of the song that he wanted to sing to.
Their website is easy to work with in picking songs that you want for your wedding playlist. I would just make sure to turn in the list early since we did ours pretty last minute and it was very stressful (all the songs were picked by my husband and I didn’t get a chance to review them). The best part is that within a week after our wedding, we received a recording of our reception playlist, speeches/​toasts, and first dance songs. It is quite special to have a lasting audio memory of the wedding.
The only negative thing that happened with Keith was that he kind of messed up our first dance song because we originally had 4 songs to dance to but cut it down to 3 at the last minute. He ended up playing the original 4 songs but we just went with it. And I’m actually glad he did because I was reconsidering the change we made. This was more of our own fault because we were the ones who changed it last minute. I would just make sure to go thru the order of events with the dj before the wedding day.
Overall, we had a very good experience with ‘look no further’ and I would definitely recommend them to any bride out there! Good luck with your wedding planning!

My wife and I worked with Ross this past October and I can’t begin to describe how professional and fantastic he was at his job. We were told that a Dj can make or break your wedding and one of the reasons it was such a great night was due to Ross. If you are needing a Dj for anything, stop looking now and book this guy! You will not regret it!

This review is loooong overdue, but I was just listening to our wedding mp3 and was reminded of how much I loved our celebration, and how Look No Further was truly the icing on our wedding cake. My husband and I hired Ross to DJ our reception and we hired Laura to do the «day-​of» coordinating. We absolutely believe that the success of our wedding was due in (big) part to Look No Further’s amazing, attentive services. We received numerous compliments from our friends and family about how our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they’d been to, and they loved the mix of country and hip-​hop music (my family and friends are from Vegas, my husband’s family and friends hail from Texas and New Mexico). Ross was given a last-​minute, short must-​have playlist to work with, but he magically put together the perfect «soundtrack» for both the dining and dancing portions of our wedding day.
We also have been telling all our newly engaged friends that the best decision we ever made was hiring Laura to do the day-​of coordination for our wedding. I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding — Laura made sure everything was set up and happened exactly the way I wanted, and she refused to let me do any setup work and instead ushered me to my bridal suite in order to just relax and enjoy my wedding day. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Laura and all the work she put into making our wedding day smooth and spectacular.
One last thing — my husband and I planned our Austin, TX wedding from California, and Ross and Laura were very easy to get in touch with through email and phone calls. We really appreciate Look No Further for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

We absolutely loved our experience with Look No Further! We used them for our wedding & our reception was an absolute blast. They were a joy to work with & they were super accommodating with all of my song requests & when my husband wanted to plan a surprise serenade with some of his groomsmen. :) After the wedding, we received an entire MP3 of both the ceremony & reception so we could relive the audio of both celebrations — what a great keepsake!
My only note is that the recessional music was played a little too late/​too softly, but maybe that was due to a miscommunication. If we did it all over again, I’d make sure they were all queued up & ready to go.

Ross and Laura are awesome! We worked mostly with Ross and he was attentive and available through the wedding planning process. He executed the day of wonderfully as well! I even have guests asking for our wedding playlist! Highly recommend!

Keith Jones was my. Wedding DJ this past week and he went above and beyond! The equipment he brought was AMAZING, he helped me with other parts of my wedding that had nothing to do with music like helping me with the itinerary/​timeline and he had me and all my bridesmaids letting lose on the dance floor in no time at all. He was very reasonable cost wise (I called around quite a bit) he also had 2 personal, edging with me and my dad and traveled to my house for them. His music suggestions had everything from Elvis to Beyoncé which was another thing he helped me greatly with. He made my wedding fun and kept everyone entertained from start to finish! I highly recommend him!

Blake did an amazing job being the DJ at our wedding in March. He kept the energy upbeat and flowing. Essentially a DJ ends up being the unofficial wedding coordinator to your guests. Directing them when it’s time to eat, when toasts are taking place, first dances, and when the party gets started! It.Was. Flawless.
Blake met any request I had no matter how big or how small. There is an age difference between me and my groom and I wanted a mix of songs from my college days and his college days. He nailed it. I hardly spoke to many guests because I didn’t get off the dance floor. I’ve had many compliments on the music and the energy of the nigh! First Class Entertainment is a class act! Job well done! Thanks again!

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, one of the most important things to both of us was the music. We both LOVE to dance and have always had the most fun at weddings where everyone joins in the dancing and we had that vision for our own wedding. So thank goodness we found Ross and Laura! Ross is an absolutely incredible DJ! We had a five hour reception which is definitely on the longer end and when it ended at midnight, we still had almost all of our guests out on the dance floor having a great time. He knows exactly how to gauge the crowd’s interest in songs and create the right flow to build into an awesome party. My husband and I literally didn’t sit down the entire evening and most of our guests didn’t either — not just the young guests but all of our older family members/​friends too! Everyone had an amazing time. I got so many compliments on his DJing including from my dad who is still raving about him to all of his business partners. Laura does a great job keeping the evening going and managing the MCing. They are definitely not the typical ‘lame wedding DJs’ but a team that I want to hire for every event that I have! And they are very reasonably priced. I had originally looked into hiring a band because I thought they would create the best dance party but they were too expensive but I’m so glad I went with Ross and Laura because they totally created our dream dance party and were a steal. I would highly recommend them to anyone if you want to have the best dancing of any wedding you’ve ever been to!

Ross and Laura were fantastic. We only had to meet with them twice — once to book, and then once to sit down and talk about what we wanted music wise. He NAILED it. Our guests RAVED about what an awesome party our reception was. Then, three of my friends booked him for their weddings. He is that good. Ross is not some dope with a microphone. He’s a DJ. A real live, turn-​table, DJ. He will listen to what you what your reception to be and feel like and make it happen. I honestly believe that choosing a DJ determines what your reception will be. Don’t pick some guy with a sound system and an iTunes playlist. Pick someone who will create the atmosphere and party you want. These two can do that.

Ross and Laura from Look No Further Entertainment were amazing! From the few songs I suggested they understood what I liked and wanted and made the most amazing playlist for my dinner and wedding reception. Every single wedding guest was out on the dance floor through the majority of the night and 6 months later, they are still talking about how much fun they had! Ross even took the time to find the specific version of the song I wanted for the Father/​Daughter dance. After the wedding, Ross and Laura compiled a mp3 of all the music that was played. What I did not know was that my dads toast and the groomsmen’s karaōke version of «You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling» would also be on that mp3. Best surprise ever! I would highly recommend Look No Further Entertainment to anyone who wants to have a professional club DJ providing wonderful music and a great party for their wedding!

Ross and Laura did one stellar job at my wedding in November. They kept everyone on the dance floor the whole time. The transitions were smooth and they were professionally vocal.
I highly recommend them for any wedding. I have had several close friends who have become brides hire them for their weddings and they were truly happy with everything!

We hired Laura and Ross of Look No Further Entertainment for our DJ services, but when I found out that Laura also holds a wedding planning certification it couldn’t have been more perfect!
We ended up asking her to be my «day-​of» wedding coordinator, and it was great not having to add yet another vendor to our growing list. Plus, since she was already going to be at the wedding, her planning services were significantly cheaper than hiring another company. Laura is easy to work with & went far above and beyond her duties as a day-​of planner. Every wedding seems very personal to her, which is hard to find in the wedding industry. On wedding day, she worked incredibly hard to make everything exactly like we had discussed. She cried during the toasts and was SWEATING like crazy from running around so much. I absolutely cannot say enough about how fabulous she is.
Ross is a genius behind the turntables! He understood our music taste to a tee and could improvise easily in between our requested songs. He also knew exactly when to cut songs short if need be and was perfectly in-​sync with Laura the whole day. When my normally shy dad decided last minute to jump in for an unplanned father-​daughter slow dance, Ross didn’t miss a beat and chose a song that both me and my dad were happy with. In short, I have nothing but good things to say about Ross and Laura and highly recommend them :)
