After 12 of the 13 months of planning every detail of our big day, I still had no idea of who to hire for a DJ. When asked by the venue cordinator if we had everything, I mentioned to him that I needed a DJ. He immediately mentioned Blake, he further went on about how they have worked together in the past and he thoroughly trusts him. Listening to that referral was the best decision I made. He was very accommodating in such a short amount of time. He kept the party going, and got all ages out on the dance floor! Highly recommend his services!

We had DJ Blake Hunter at our wedding at Casa Blanca and he was so great! The dj is such an important part of making sure that everything from the ceremony to the send off goes smoothly. Blake worked alongside my coordinator to make sure everything was perfect. I had some song choices that I wanted him to play, but for the most part I just told him to play what people want to hear. He definitely had almost all of the wedding guests dancing the ENTIRE night. I would recommend Blake to anyone getting married or even just having a party. He definitely knows what he is doing and your event will definitely be a hit with him as the DJ!

Blake Hunter (The Owner) and the staff over at 1^st Class Entertainment were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My husband and I were married on October 17^th 2014 and since our wedding we are both still getting compliments from our guests saying what a fantastic job our DJ Jason Winn at 1^st Class Entertainment did! Blake and Jason were both very engaging and made sure that every song we wanted played was played and that there wasn’t a dull moment the entire night. We had provided Blake/​Jason with a list of must play songs (which were all played at appropriate times throughout the night) and then gave some percentages of what kind of music we wanted played along with artists. There were a few songs we were stumped on like our exit song, the Anniversary dance song, and the cake cutting song. Jason’s ability to come up with the perfect songs that suited us and our wedding was not only a relief but one less decision we had to make and was genius!
We had a very wide range of age groups and guests from all over at our wedding so we were both nervous about how to keep everyone happy and dancing. Jason was able to gauge the audience perfectly and had an amazing mix of songs that kept everyone dancing and having a fantastic time. His ability to run the show and keep the wedding running smoothly without being the center of attention was incredible. Jason had a fun, upbeat personality that not only my husband and I loved but everyone else as well. He was friendly with guests, took requests, and had us all on the dance floor!
I don’t want to forget to mention the add on services which were available to us. We had 115 guests at our wedding and we were both a bit nervous that our guests in the back rows weren’t going to be able to enjoy the ceremony and hear everything but we were happy to learn that 1^st Class Entertainment had a few add on services which were totally affordable and what we needed. We added a Ceremony package with a PA system and Lapel Mic for only $ 150.00 which made such a huge difference. All of our guests in the back row were able to hear clearly and enjoy our entire ceremony from beginning to end! We also decided to add on the Custom monogram light that Blake created personally for us with our names and the date of the wedding which was stunning and great for pictures the photographer took! Lastly we added on the up lighting and the colors cascading off of the walls brought a whole different dynamic to the room and just made it look that much more beautiful!

I have used 1^st Class to do the sound for several seminars I have given and a company party. They have always been very professional, have good equipment. DJ Blake was a lot of fun at the company party. Highly recommended them!

I had DJ Blake as my wedding DJ this past weekend. He was a bit cocky when we first met to go over the details a couple of weeks before the wedding, but at the reception he was exceptional! He played exactly what I asked for and got my guests dancing. He stuck to the songs we had planned for the ceremony, garter/​bouquet toss, last dance, exit song, etc. His announcements were great and professional. He was a wonderful DJ and I would totally recommend him for weddings.

Blake Hunter DJ’d at our daughter’s wedding. He did an excellent job and was very professional. The added lighting was a nice touch. He worked with them to select the best music to keep the dance floor full. We were very pleased with his service.

We hired 1^st Class Entertainment as DJs for our wedding last weekend. They came as part of a package with our wedding venue (Taylor Mansion, also amazing), so I was honestly a little nervous at first, as a sub-​par DJ can ruin a reception and I hadn’t met the guys personally. Turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about! They provided a handy worksheet of music for me to fill out, and Jason contacted me to make sure I had his cell for any last minute questions and concerns. Onsite, he was friendly and professional, and kept the party rockin all night long.

We hired DJ Blake at our wedding and he was extremely professional and fun to work with. For our initial meeting, he showed up in a shirt and tie (totally didn’t expect that). He was extremely experienced and has lists of popular music if you are at a loss for songs for your ceremony/​reception. His rates are extremely reasonable, and in fact, after we signed him up, I was asking a coworker how much the DJ was for their wedding and was told they were almost 2x as much as DJ Blake.
We actually had to have our venue flipped from the ceremony to reception and DJ Blake kept order and did a great job at announcing for the guests to move outdoors for cocktail hour and back inside. He played all the music we requested, and our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him. Thanks!

I was referred to 1^st Class Entertainment by a friend for DJ services
for my wedding. I had the pleasure of working with DJ Blake. He was
professional, punctual, courteous, and readily available for my many
questions. During all the craziness of planning a wedding, he gave me
the option of coming to my husband and myself to discuss song choices,
order of events, etc. DJ Blake was able to suggest music, even
assisting my husband and me with compromising, when necessary. He
kept the crowd dancing during the wedding reception, and I attribute a
large part of the success of my wedding to DJ Blake. We had young and
old guests, and the music was always appropriate. He also had a large
variety of Spanish music. I received numerous compliments on the
music following the wedding and have referred 1^st Class Entertainment
to anyone having a wedding or event in the Austin area.
