This is the best sub sandwich in town. Great Soups & amazing salads. Best of all — their customer service. They actually care(unlike a lot of sub shops in town). I would recommend this place to all of my friends.

I’ve got to up the stars to 5 after trying more of their menu and the lady who runs this trailer deserves 10 stars! Everything I have eaten here is so fresh and tasty and the most expensive thing on the menu gets you a sandwich and soup or salad at 6.50(includes tax) all super fresh and made to order. The ordering process is easy — pick up a double sided menu and circle everything you want on your sandwich — a 4.756inch sub could easily become enough for a second meal with 2 meats, 2 cheeses, and all the veggies you want(and spices too) — love that under condiments you get to choose your mustards and mayonnaises Light, Regular or Juicy:) If the Broccoli Cheese is the soup of the Day get it! Even better yet get it in the Baked Potato at only 5.00! I walked past there yesterday with my dogs after having lunch down the street and thought«Oh Awesome They have tomatoes for sale!!» «Now I do not have to take the dogs home before shopping for the only thing I need at the grocery store.» The awesome proprietor even gave me a sample slice before purchase and said they were from a greenhouse in Pleasantville, TX — wherever they are some of the tastiest tomatoes I have had and well worth 1.69 for 4 tomatoes — just wish I purchased more. Oh, and they gots Mexican Coke and Maine Root!!!

The«gyro» is supposedly a new item. It needs some serious attention. The pita bread was a little too raw — too dense and not fluffy at all. It could have been warmed up a little more or been fresher. But what really made this sandwich stand out was the«meat». This is not your common Kronos gyro meat. This is some sort of sliced loaf that had no taste at all and the texture of cat food. I don’t think it was cooked at all, or cooked just enough to unleash the grease globules. It was mush(in a sliced form). The $ 1 pickle tasted like the jar had been out in the sun for a year or more — it tasted really old. I hate giving bad reviews in light of the other reviews, but just remembering this sandwich and pickle … I gotta change my two stars to one.

A great lunch for $ 6.50 — $ 8.00 If you work near this area, you know that it is fast food hell near here and if your not eating fast food your eating fat foods –there are at least 10 places to get a burger in just this couple of blocks(not an exaggeration).(And good luck with Whole Foods during the lunch rush madness!) Thank heavens for the Little Sub Trailer. I tried their Chef Salad with Shrimp, and it was delightful! The salad was fresh, simple, basic and and the HOMEMADEITALIANDRESSING was really delicious. I love pickles on my salad too and I even got to pick from 1 of 5 cheeses!(I chose MUENSTERCHEESE!) Seeing it was my first time, she offered me a sample of the Chedder Broccoli Soup(C.B.S.), I am a bit stand offish to C.B.S. because I believe soups should be well, soupy, and I just imagine C.B.S. to be impossibly thick queso soup of salty cheddar, but quite the contrary it was actually quite good and good drinkable consistency! Also because there were mushrooms in there, it really won points cause I think mushrooms work well in soups. One thing for the budget conscious is to avoid a beverage(most glass/can drinks are $ 1.50 to $ 2.00). I am definitely going to be back, especially because the owner was super sweet and nice to me. The menu rotates weekly too!

The other reviews are spot on. I love this place and the owner is lovely and happy and so willing to accommodate. Her soups are super and the sandwiches are delicious and taste like they are supposed to. She is also a big community supporter and was recently spotted catering an event for the Rude Mechanicals at the Cathedral of Junk pro-bono. I love her food, the chicken salad is amazing as is the Greek cole slaw. Man oh man! Austin needs more like this.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I had driven by it for months before finally search for it online. This was back before they had a website, so I eventually just called and asked what all they had. The owner was insanely nice and told me everything they offered and took my order over the phone. It is now a weekly stop for lunch. Also, Im not a big soup fan, but Every one of her soups that Ive tried are insanely good! I am extremely impressed with this place, their service and quality. Good food, great prices and its local. What more could you want?

My wife Tristan and I went on Thursday 2:30pm or so on way to the nearby dog park. Great place. Right away we wer offered a free sample of the daily soup. Had the soup and a custom sandwich — turned out great. The meats have flavors, the veggies are fresh, bread was fresh and perfect for sandwich. I find their sandwich to be better than the same one at Thundercloud. I really like how they run this place, it has so many things right! The produce for sale at the front of the trailer is a wonderful touch. Will be back to try the salads and other soups!

The smoked salmon salad sandwich(a special) is the best ever! Plus, they let you request a special, and they’ll put it on the menu whichever day you choose. My day’s coming up soon and I can’t wait. You can basically get anything on your sub without adding extra, which is what puts it ahead of Thundercloud for me. I can get all the veggies without the cost! Plus I feel really great supporting a tiny local business, and the people are super friendly.
