Probably some of the freshest ingredients in Austin, great taste, value and portions on the King size Kuzu! I’ve been greeted by Kasey each visit and she gave phenomenal customer service, great recommendations and overall enthusiasm makes me wanna keep returning long as the service is great and the food remains fantastic! Great eats ! ***SAME****

The Lamb and beef Kebab was delicious but the chicken kebab had no taste at all. It tastes like nothing.

Love this food. I visit Austin once per month and I always schedule my visit here in advance. Love the k-fries, love the bread in the wraps, love the meat and spices as well. A complete great meal for the value.

It’s a favorite spot for my girlfriend and I. The K-fries are a must! The wraps are really good too. The beef and lamb kebab wrap is always kind of cold for some reason, so i always get the chicken instead which is always a hit.

Prime example of why food trucks can’t swing it in the big leagues of brick and mortar stores. Absolutely love this place, but this particular location is awful. I ordered an extra spicy chickenkebab and was given a dry and bland mess… and the meat was overcooked. To add insult to injury I drove 25min for this crap. I’ve been to the food trucks a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Sometimes the food is so spicy I tear up… I honestly think Verts has more consistent taste and service, hence their success.

The K-Fries — absolutely addicting, adding Fries to the Kebab an extra treat. Eating the beef and lamb Kebab is a life changing experience. The staff is super friendly, food is made to order and so delicious. So, if you are in the area stop by for some awesomeness.

I ONLY get the Boss Fries here, not because everything else isn’t good, but because those are the BEST fries I have eaten in all of Austin. People compare it to Chilantros, but I think these are 100% better. There is no lack of sauce or dry fries. Everything is so perfect. I consider myself a french fry snob and these are my tier one faves.

I first had this food at the food truck in November of 2013. Given, it was a late night after a bit of drinking, but I found it to be so good that I was craving to come back. A visit to the same food truck a year later confirmed my suspicion — only this time, I was stone cold sober. Since moving to Austin from Houston in January of 2015, I was well aware of all of the delicious food options that Austin had to offer that I could not get in Houston. Tacodeli, In n Out, P. Terry, et al. But this is the place that I keep going back to. I had subleased an apartment near 6th Street and I-35 and routinely would walk to the Kebabalicious on E. 7th to take in their delicious food. Whether it be the beef and lamb wrap(get it spicy!), the K-fries, the falafel shot or the saffron rice bowl(my new favorite), the food will not disappoint. The staff is always nice, helpful, and good spirited. I’d love to include photos with my review but I usually dig right in as soon as the food comes out. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Do others a favor and recommend this place. Deliciousness will ensue.

Same good eats as the trailers but now in sit down form. Yay! Goods: beef and lamb kebab is still excellent but i think the trailer is a tad bit tastier?(or i was just drunk that day so everything was awesome!) Kuzu: new item on the menu? It wasnt on the website and I havent seen it before. If you like the beef and lamb, go get this! I think this tasted better than the bee/lamb. Not so good: Salad: They called it Turk Salad but it was just a really plain salad. It did have olives, cucumber but that was about it. Wish they put some feta cheese on it. Plates/trays — So as I was eating, i felt like its a brick and mortar place but something was off. Hmm… all plastic/paper supplies… maybe they are still using trailer supplies and just moved it here? I think if you have a b&m place, you should at least have trays, plastic cups or something. The salad we ordered came in one of those to go plastic cases… felt like we should have just eaten it at our house. Dont get me wrong though. I love this place and will definitely come back. Just had to point out some stuff.

Visited here yesterday and it’s really such a cute place! We ordered our food and went to sit in the back sitting area and it really was just perfect! Moving on to the food… I ordered the k fries which are fries with red sauce and feta cheese and they were actually really good! I was comparing them to the fries at halal bros and these would win hands down. What I was disappointed with was the chicken kabob. The portion is a decent size but it was just horribly bland even though I asked for it to be extra spicy and it really wasn’t anything I would ever crave again. There’s so much better Turkish and even Mediterranean food out there! Also checking in on Unilocal gets you a free drink!

Maybe I’m just not all that hard to impress after a night of drinking, but Kebabalicious made the missus and I glad that we stopped in. So, on to the deets. The spicy loaded fries are metaphysically awesome: hot, crispy, and covered in beautiful and delicious red things plus feta. The veggie kebabs were good, but Kismet on campus has better and cheaper(the falafel could have been a bit crunchier). There’s a standard size and an upgrade to plus-size gluttony for like an extra four bucks if you have a big appetite or BAC at .20 or better. Stealing that play from the stoner burrito joints earns like 5,000 marketing points, btw. The space looks great, with a small inside and a big, very nice patio. They serve beer, so probably plus one star for not forcing me to sober up any while I ate. I hate that. The food came super quick despite a busy Saturday night crowd. So, on the whole, I’m always glad to have tasty late-night veggie options to keep me from falling off the wagon when I’ve had a few. This fit the bill nicely. Thanks, Kebablicious, and I suspect we’ll meet again.

I feel bad writing this review, as I’ve had some a-okay meals at Kebabalicious. My last meal was unfortunately… bad. I got the chicken kebab with extra tzatziki, and it was soggy, flavorless, and generally disappointing. I’ve eaten a lot of kebab, and I know it’s not supposed to taste like this. The other girls in my office were equally disappointed. I understand restaurants have their off days, so I generally don’t write negative reviews after a single bad experience. This was my second blah order, though, so I thought it was time to provide some feedback.

A year after our first experience at their food truck… we finally made it back! Each of us got a king sized beef and lamb kebab and devoured it in the store, medium spicy. What makes it is the sauce. mm mm mm. Since we were on our way back home to Dallas, I suggested the bf buy one to go, so he could enjoy the deliciousness again tomorrow. So he bought the Spoiled Brat with a side of the Ka-baam sauce. The next night, I was only spared one bite of the kebab, but it was a glorious bite. Next time we’re in Austin, spoiled brat, here I come!

We were walking around Austin and compared to 6th street, this place is so low key and quiet. Perfect for a night time stroll. A little bit creepy because it’s down the street from a cemetery? I believe we split a Spoiled Brat and we liked it! It was flavorful and with the Unilocal check-in, we got a free drink. Score! I believe they have a backyard patio as well if you’re interested.

Never had a Kebab before. These things are pretty legit. I had a King size Beef and Lamb. It was a hearty portion a lesser man would have been full. But i am no such man. I also tried baklava here for the first time and it was really really good. The meat was tender, the spicy was smooth and predictable, and the vegetables and other stuff tasted fresh. It is pretty cramped on the inside so i felt like I was in everyone’s way. The back patio was huge and had plenty of seating. 9⁄10 would come again.

I often like to attribute my long-time Unilocaling habit to the London food scene, and specifically, the street kebab. Arguably the street food of choice for the modern world, I absolutely love kebabs, from the turkish style messy late night snacks on the streets of London to the often even healthy and quality grilled options down in Australia — kebabs are marvelous culinary gems, and I’m thrilled to have found a good option here in Texas. Food trucks grow up into store fronts because they’re good, and kebabalicious is good. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Kebabalicious has grown up a lot from their humble food truck roots, and with a fully equipped patio and even some indoor seating, Kebabalicious on E 7th is a great spot even if the weather isn’t cooperating. Service is a tad bit slow compared to some of the immediately gratifying, shave the meat off of the spit options elsewhere, but it’s certainly nothing worth docking a star over. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? One of the best thing about kebabs is that they provide marvelous value worth navigating through even the most crippling of drunken nights or hungover mornings. While the supply of turkish/greek style kebabs here in the US is significantly lower than our European counterparts, Kebabalicious doesn’t give in by charging the premium that they could. My $ 6.99 mixed kebab was absolutely massive as you’ll see in the picture below, and it’s refreshing to see that there are niche markets in Austin where the prices haven’t crept up with everything else in the city: Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Now, the important bit — the food. Was this a good kebab? This was a good kebab, with a nice fluffy wrap and what came across as a very fresh and flavorful mix of peripherals. I ordered mine spicy, and it certainly caught my attention without being drenched in chili sauce. My only gripe here was the mixed lamb and beef meats, which were a bit light in the portion department and a tad bit overcooked. I didn’t see a visible spinning spit in the kitchen, but this didn’t taste like it has just been shaved off, which would be a disappointment if true. Finally, and it’s worth noting with kebabs, I didn’t regret this hours later or even the next day, and that’s a true test of a good kebab. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? There’s room for improvement here, but know that kebabalicious is a fantastic option, and I’d gladly come back daily until it’s proven to me that there’s something better within a few hundred miles. Star Granted.

Kebabalicious is my all time #1 food spot after a night out on 6th street! I’ve been getting kebabs here for years and I’ve gone through at least 5 loyalty cards. I was stoked to hear that they were going to open a store front. Usually I just order a king lamb kebab with feta cheese… oh and I have to get it spicy! But when I saw the menu with the Spoiled Brat with all the meats + falafel, I just had to get it! Oh. My. God. If only I could have that every day… I’m seriously in love with kebablicious. When I was in undergrad I was so proud of myself when I became mayor on foursquare. I didn’t keep it for long though, it’s a pretty popular spot. Spend the extra quarters to get the feisty feta cheese, it’s worth it!

After hearing about Kebabalicious for years, I finally gave it a try! I had the chicken wrap — huge portions and pretty delicious! The chicken felt a little dry but we were there toward the end of the night, so maybe it wasn’t as fresh as it would have been earlier in the day. Also split an order of fries which was more than enough for 2 people. The fries were incredibly delicious but very spicy(for me, a lightweight) so something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to spice! Parking in the area can be tricky. We ended up snagging a spot a few blocks away and walking over, no big deal.

I had my doubts. Boy was I wrong. You see, I’ve never eaten at their trailers before, but when I saw this brick & mortar pop on the side of town I usually hang out at, well it intrigued me. We came here on a Saturday night for a late dinner. I could see how parking would be a struggle, since I didn’t see any lot specifically for them, but we found street parking pretty quick. The inside is small and not a lot of seating(2 – 3 tables?), so one can assume the eating is to be done outside. We ordered the kebabafries, LOTS of feta with seasoning and some spicy red sauce. This heaping of fries is up there with my favorite, fun fries. We shared a regular sized falafel wrap because we weren’t too hungry. Seriously, one of the BEST falafel wraps I’ve ever had. Everything about the ingredients to the pita was perfect. I’m not sure what made it stand out so much, it could be that crazy red sauce. I’ve never had«turkish style» wraps before, but whatever these white boys did to make it turkish, keep doing it because I want it again. Like, now. They had several cucumber and lemon infused water taps and it went so well with dinner. It was like a battlefield with all the gnats landing in my water, hovering around the food, and douchey bugs punching me in the face. If you get your food to go, I wouldn’t blame you. But they do have an impressive local canned beer selection and they were selling pint glasses as well. It wasn’t very busy, which I appreciated. I’ll definitely be back, I need to try those zucchini fries. 5 stars for 2 Texan dudes who followed their vision creating delicious food and went to the same university as me :-)
