Jon Nuckels Custom Tile Installation

My wife and I were extremely overwhelmed when we began to try and redo our master bathroom. Luckily, we got hooked up with Jon. Not only is he extremely skilled with tile, but he also helped us organize visits and timing with all of the other contractors. He was quick to answer texts/​emails/​calls at any hour of the day (and any day of the week), and helped us choose quality products that were cost effective. Ultimately, because of Jon, we were able to craft our dream bathroom on two teachers’ salaries. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jon for any tile or bathroom needs.

I hired Jon to do the backsplash for my kitchen remodel. He’s one of the best contractors I’ve worked with. He responded to my emails, answered my questions, helped with the tile order, and began and completed the job on the scheduled dates. And the finished project looks great. I’d definitely hire Jon again. He made this stage of my remodel a breeze. Thanks again.

Last year we did a remodel of our bathroom and contracted various aspects of the job out. Jon did the shower pan, shower tile and floor tile. He was far and away the best contractor we worked with.
First, and I know this is crazy, but he actually showed up for the initial appointment when he said he would and provided a written quote via email.
Second, even though he had another job come in before we gave him the go ahead he worked hard to honor the original date we discussed. This was important because half way through the remodel my sister-​in-​law informed us she was coming into town with her family and wanted to stay with us. Eleven people sharing one bath was going to be a challenge so it was important to us to get the second one functional by the time they arrived. Jon did his part in making it happen.
Third, Jon showed up promptly at 8 every day and put in a good honest day’s work before leaving. That would seem to be a given, but it wasn’t our experience with other contractors.
Jon was very good about communicating with us about what he was doing and when and listening to us along the way. He also had some good tips for product selection and care.
Lastly, he did a great, quality job and it still looks fabulous over a year later. I highly recommend Jon.

Jon was one of the few installers I called that had the courtesy to call me back when I left a message. At the time his schedule was open and he told me that he would probably be able to install a back splash for me a month later. When the time came he got busy with other jobs and was unable to fit me into his schedule quickly. Instead of just abandoning us in the middle of our remodel, he gave me several referrals, two of whom called me back and one (Jason Schmale) that came out gave us a reasonable estimate and did an awesome job installing the back splash. Even though he didn’t do the job for us, he was very helpful and kind. I really appreciate his courtesy.

Jon and his crew are top notch! They went above and beyond, and I will definitely have him come back to do additional tile work. Jon is extremely easy to communicate with and my whole experience was easily 5 stars.

Got referred to Jon from fellow Unilocalers. I wanted to get my kitchen back splash done quickly because of my main guy was running out of time with other things that had to be done to finish the rest of the kitchen. Jon was flexible on his schedule, came in with a fair estimate and did a professional job! My back splash is mosaic ceramic tile (1″) so not the easiest material to work with but it looks great! People notice the back splash more than the Carrera Italian marble counter top. so it’s important that was done right.
sometimes my schedule can get hectic but Jon was unreal in being persistent on completing the project! how unbelievable is that? Nice to have that happen for a change… I’d recommend Jon without a doubt!

Jon installed tile in a new bathroom floor/​shower for a remodel that added a bathroom, and he did a fabulous job. He is reasonably priced and does excellent work. Plus, he’s great at communicating and very responsive! I highly recommend him.

Jon’s work is spectacular and he is both professional and friendly. I’ve hired Jon on multiple occasions and he has been nothing short of honest, efficient and treats every project both big and small with care.

We recently had two bathroom areas re tiled by Jon. From start to finish the project included: consultation (timely estimate), demolition, replacing damaged materials, framing, custom work, and tiling. Jon was very knowledgeable and was able to take our ideas and make suggestions to improve the project. Jon was very efficient in his work, arrived on time, worked diligently, and completed the project within his initial time frame. He was friendly, easy to work with, and professional throughout the duration of the project. Jon was was sure to keep the work areas tidy and kept us updated on his progress. Not only was his work ethic excellent, his work was amazing. Our project was a custom job and his work exceeded our expectations. Jon was able to recommend a fiber glass contractor and glass company to complete the job (both whom we would recommend as well). We would highly recommend hiring Jon for your projects as we plan to have him do a custom fireplace overhaul and tile our floors in the future.
