I emailed this company on a Saturday for quote and they called me back on a Sunday to schedule and offered to come out that day. Talk about prompt! We agreed on a Monday arrival date, they arrived on time with a professional and customer centered attitude. Pricing was good but I had 2 other companies on the line which I informed them; and they took the push back kindly. Later that day, they called back with a counter I couldn’t refuse and had the crew here the very next morning; again on time! It was a full day job with multiple clusters of oaks trees; 1.5 acre lot and they did not miss a branch. During the day they asked me to check for my satisfaction twice to ensure they didn’t miss my expectations. Not a stray branch was left from what they cut and the trees look amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Joe and his crew!

I’ve called on them a few months ago. The administrative person answering the phone didn’t do a good job as I told them I was interested in having some work quoted. I never got a call back.

I’ve used them for a couple of jobs. They were on time and provided a good service, at a good price.

As new homeowners, we wanted to get our home checked out before the winter rains, and Joe’s Tree Care was able to provide an incredibly helpful assessment of what needed to be done. We’ll be glad to use them for our future tree care needs!

Based on all the great reviews I read on Unilocal,I called this company to take care of some trees in my yard. 3 days in, I have talked to 4 different people, asked to send in an email with the pictures of my trees, and called back again and again just for a QUOTE. I told them I can’t be home when they come out for a quote up front, they told me they will just have someone look at my yard and give me an estimate. After 3 days, I called today again, the person picked up the phone told me they have no record of me calling and asking for services. No one was ever sent to my house. If this is how they run their business, it is completely a mess!

This is my second time using Joes. This was a very large project of tree removal, tree treatment and canopy raising for a lot in Austin. Just as my first experience they exceeded my expectations!!! Truly a rare find these days. I can’t say enough about this company and their staff. Well done.

I stumbled onto Joe’s after reading Unilocal reviews on a different tree company recommended in my neighborhood’s newslist. The other company had several negative reviews and one of their reviewers recommended Joe’s, and after seeing all the glowing feedback I gave them a call. Joe himself came out the next Saturday to give me an estimate to remove a Mimosa tree that won’t stop growing and touching the house and a large tree stump that had grown into the chain link fence in the backyard. Joe was right on time. Based on my experience with other tree care services I have purchased the quote was very reasonable. Said they could do the work the next Tuesday morning and I wouldn’t have to be home so no taking time off work to deal with this, yay! Happy to report that upon my return home Tuesday it was like the tree had never been there. The tree had been completely removed and all evidence of it whisked away. The site looks great! They did an amazing job with the tree stump too. We want to replace the chain link fence with a wood slat fence and the stump would be in the way. Somehow they were able to remove the stump and leave the fence intact. Everything was left clean and looking great. Funny thing is they didn’t even leave an invoice or anything. I was supposed to get an email regarding payment but when I hadn’t heard anything I called to make sure they got paid! Did it over the phone with a credit card. Thanks Joe’s!

Had this company out again and they were just as awesome as last time. Came out quickly for an estimate and then were ready to do the job the next morning. Pricing was great. It was big job with a LOT of branches being cut down. I expected it to take at least half a day but they got a big crew out here and were done within an hour and a half! Not so much as a stray branch was left from what they cut and the trees look great. HIGHLY recommend this company!

Great experience. I had a large tree that needed to go as well as a bunch of trimming that needed to be done for our corner lot. They were able to come in quickly and haul it away for a great price. Will call them again when the need arises.

I contracted with Joe’s Tree Care to trim the trees in our front and backyard and they did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Joe and his crew.

It has been several years (and a house ago) since I used Joe’s tree service, but here I am again. Last time Joe provided great service despite a scheduling snafu.
This time his crew and foreman were on the ball and on right time. They did a great job pruning trees, shrubs and keeping everything clean after the work was done. The pricing was very reasonable as well. My yard looks great!
It’s nice to have a go-​to person for this type of work and I look forward to using them again when the time comes.

Joe’s Tree Service just finished a mountain of work in my yard. Significantly lower price than any of their competitors and an amazing job. Tools were sterilized and all cuts sealed on the oaks, which turned out beautiful. This was the most professional, hardest working crew I have ever had at my home. They arrived late due to finishing up a previous job, but stayed almost 4 hours past their normal quitting time trying to get the job done on the day promised.
Communication was excellent, with even a text message reminder of the appointment day and time for the estimate.
I would recommend this company over any other tree service in Austin in a heartbeat.

Joe’s Tree Care was the first one to come out (same day) to give an estimate and it came out well below another 5-​star Unilocal company. They also gave me further discount and came out the next day to do the job. Manny was awesome!
It was a big job (4 people crew took 4 hours) to trim more than 7 trees and they did a great job! I would wholeheartedly recommend them!

I felt like my business was a priority and was completed in a timely and satisfactory manor. Cinthia was very courteous and helpful when I called.

Joe’s tree service just finished removing an almost 30 foot hackberry tree from our yard. They did a fantastic job and we would definitely recommend them to anyone because:
1. They came out for a free quote faster than any other company we called.
2. Their price was the most competitive.
3. They scheduled the removal for the day after we accepted their offer.
4. The tree was removed along with every trace of them being there (no limbs, water bottles, etc) when they left that afternoon.

Just got another round of excellent service from Joe’s Tree Care.
Manny came by earlier than the appointment after calling to see if that was ok. He bid a fair price for the work I needed to have done.
The crew arrived the next morning. I walked the foreman through the job and then they knocked it out. Good cleanup afterwards, too.
This is a great business. I’ve recommended them to my friends and I will definitely use them again.

Joe showed up and gave me an estimate. Two days later his crew performed the work in about 1 ½ hours. Everything went smoothly. The crew was friendly and professional.
I’m calling him again to come out and remove another tree. These guys are great!

So far I’m leaving a single star and it is based on my research of another company that had provided a Groupon. Just before purchasing, I chose to use Unilocal as a source of quality service and it was riddled with poor business practices yet Joe’s was really good.
Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a return call to Joe’s from my detailed phone request as asked in their voicemail. It’s been two weeks. I’m going to give them a second chance and update the star at that time.
Update: As I was posting, a woman named Ariana called with a different area code who said she can come out immediately. She did not reference a past call or any voicemails no matter that I mentioned them. BUT she is on her way and we’ll go from there.

These guys were great! Someone came in within 2 days of calling and gave us a quote. Joe came in $ 400 less than our highest bid and really seemed knowledgeable about the forest of trees we have to deal with.
The team came out on time, were efficient and thorough. Our landscaping looks great now at an affordable price. We’ll definitely use Joe again next time.
