iPlay Austin

Was not disappointed in our first trip to iPlay. Having been to a few other «bounce house places,» I was expecting a bare bones warehouse with a bunch of inflatable bounce structures. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the entire place was nicely built out, with a separate area for 3 and under (that my 3.5 year old also enjoyed with her little sister). There was a good variety of bounce options, and one in particular that was safe and fun for my 18 month old. Until a large group of teenage boys showed up and started violently bouncing around — but whatever it was time for us to leave anyway. All around a good time! Will go back and will recommend.

I’ve been to various bounce houses.
First of all, the age limit to 12 is ridiculous. Too big of kids to be playing with youngsters.
Second, those parents of the older kids are not even supervising them creating an unsafe place for the little kids who are shoved out of their way to rough house or run wildly.
Third, I didn’t see one employee walking around to supervise the older kids running wild, jumping crazy, shoving little kids out of the way.
Fourth, the toddler area which is labeled 3 and under have kids of all ages «playing» like more destroying the place.
Fifth, lots of little kids crying for getting hurt there, including my 4-​year old.

I brought my 4 year old here for the first time today and will probably not return. I will say that iPlay has an impressive space with a great collection of inflatables, however the chaos caused by how poorly this place is run ruins the experience. There are signs posted everywhere that state that iPlay is for children 12 years and under and that parents must watch their children, however neither of these rules are enforced. Big kids run wild with no courtesy or care for the people around them. Kids sit at the top of the slides preventing other children from being able to go down them. There are no staff members who are in charge of monitoring each inflatable like you’ll find at most other inflatable parks. In fact, I only saw one employee the entire time we were there. The iPlay website advertises an art station with paints and coloring materials, however that was nowhere to be found. (We could have missed it. Like I said, there weren’t any employees around to ask.) My sweet 4 year old boy who never cries or complains left this establishment saying, «this place is horrible, I never want to come back!» I left feeling guilty for taking him there!

I wish I could share the face of my 4 year old granddaughter when she walked into this place. WHAT!!! She was mesmerized. She ran for 3 hours– until she couldn’t run anymore and asked ME if we could leave. Exhausted. I found the place to be clean-​the kids to be crazy [what more could you expect]-and the staff to be most helpful and kind. Thank for for this wonderful adventure. I know she enjoyed it as much as I did.

This is probably my daughters favorite indoor play place that we have been to so far. She loves the new cars inflatable that they added a couple months ago and the big pirate inflatable that they have. Their toddler area is pretty nice especially now that they have changed up a few things like adding a trampoline, what child doesn’t like a trampoline! We can spend hours here.

This place is dangerous and understaffed on a Saturday. There are sooooo many «kids» jumping and running around that are obviously over 12 years old. And wearing shoes. But front staff doesn’t seem to have the balls to confront these kids. I paid for 4 kids, with a credit card and after 5 minutes I knew this page was bad news. But was not able to get a refund because the boss wasn’t here. Please don’t waste your money on a dangerous place liked this. Yes, it’s clean but there were kids literally ON TOP of the rides like no rules applied. And running high speed and crashing into little kids making them cry. And the employees, who are the same age as the «12 yrs olds» ignored all of this. And there is no gate to make sure kids don’t wander out. Seriously it’s horrible. Go somewhere else.

Overall great place for the kids, first timers and defiantly going to be regulars now!
We came for the Easter event that they had today which a friend had recommended us to attend with them. The inside is very spacious and they had free wifi so I was able to be sitting in the concession area while the kids enjoyed playing. Then the egg hunt was awesome but they just didn’t have enough eggs they got picked up really quick and my kids only got very few. Had a Easter bunny so the kids could take pictures with it was very unique since not many other places do that kind of thing. The games and face painting stations very entertaining for the kids. But other than that the place was very clean and staff was amazing!

I have been here a few times for regular open play and liked the place. And I was hoping that it would be a good idea to host my child’s birthday party here. Turned out to be a horrible decision.
Our host Cynthia ruined it all for us. Right from the beginning, she was totally helpless. I had to ask her twice to go and write our child’s name in our allotted cube/​room, so that our guests can identify where to gather. Once again I had to remind her several times to make an announcement so that our guests can gather back for the celebration.
We had kept the cake in their refrigerator and I hoping that she would bring it out for us after making the announcement and help us with passing on the cakes and help us with serving the food that we got the kids. Right around the time when I had requested her to bring the cake, She went inside their employee only room and was gone for like 30 min. Finally I went ahead and got the cake myself and rest of the parents helped me out with the food.
Towards the end of the party, finally Cynthia showed up and gave us that complimentary T-​shirt and was gone.
For regular bouncy play area, this is a good place. But if you are thinking about hosting parties, I wouldn’t recommend this.

We come here quite often and let our 5 year old run wild and exert all her energy. She can always find a friend to play with and spend hours here. There are lots of slides and obstacles to choose from. Unfortunately the facility is not very clean and smells absolutely horrible. I’m sure that’s dies to all the stinky feet but we’ve been to jump houses that have the smell under control. It’s usually very busy most of the times especially on the weekends but what do you expect… The staff is very un organized which results in us usually getting in for free because no one is paying attention (not complaining) pretty hectic but cool place, only reason it’s not 5 stars is because of the cleanliness

After being here several times and just throwing my son’s 2^nd bday here it’s time to update.
His birthday party was Sunday 1÷17÷16. IT WAS A MAD HOUSE IN THERE! It was packed, kids way over 3 in the under 3 section, spilled drinks on the floor, disgusting tables, unsupervised bad ass kids, trifling bathrooms, the whole 9.
They have signs posted saying they’re not a daycare. I know this. Some parents act like they don’t. They let their kids trample, run over, bully, etc. Supervise yo kids fool!
IPlay I know you’re not a daycare but please enforce your own rules. It makes me uncomfortable when I have to…
I guess I’ve got to stick with coming here right after they open and right before they close to avoid the craziness.

Awesome awesome place for babies, toddlers and kids. I’ve been bringing my son on cold weather days or days that we have to get out of the house since he was 10 months old… He’s currently 20 months and still totally enjoys the toddler room. It is safe and child proofed and perfect for development of motor skills without other things that kids places have like iPads and televisions. It’s free for children under two which is much more affordable than the other indoor play scapes in town. And it’s family owned and run which I love. You can tell its maintained and cared for. The staff is also so accommodating! My mom friends and I meet at least once a week to let our children play while we catch up!

I visited for the first time today with my 3 yr old and we loved it! Way better bounce houses than the one near our neighborhood in Houston. Will definitely return on our next trip to Austin. FYI the bathrooms were clean and the place as well.

We took our daughter who is 9 and niece who is 3 to iPlay Sunday afternoon to do something fun and burn some energy, and they both had a great time! It is hard to find things to do with kids that have such a big age gap but this was the perfect solution. They even have a little toddler area with a play bus and little cars they can sit on and slide down a track. There were several smaller-​kid friendly bouncey things so the little one could get in without me worrying that she was going to get stuck somewhere I couldn’t get to her. BUT they also had lots of the BIG slides and bounce jungle gyms that kept the older one busy and having a blast as well. The staff was all very friendly and attentive and it was clean. They had free wifi for the parents which would be awesome if I went with just the older kid so I could just sit down and surf on my phone while eating some nachos (which were half the price I expected them to be by the way!). Needless to say I was more than happy with our adventure there and will definitely be going back.

Great place for the whole family! Awesome toddler area for the little kids and reasonably priced food. Friendly staff, clean facility and fun atmosphere.
Great place to have a birthday party and let kids burn off steam!

We had an awesome time here, our double bday party was a success! Thanks to the staff for all their help and for being soooo attentive, we are definitely coming back!
Even when it was pouring outside that weekend, the staff went above and beyond through the rain to help my husband unload everything from the car, poor guy was soaked but really nice and helpful.
They also helped me with cutting the cake and with the piñata, that really helped me relax a little bit.

Great place to bring the kids for a party. They had a wide variety of slides and activities to keep them occupied. The staff members were very nice and attentive and scheduling the party was pretty simple. We will definitely be back.

Fun times are had at this place. My son loves it. Making friends all over the place and burning off some energy. The toddler area is pretty great. I mean, it’s not super clean but what kiddo place is. It’s better than most actually.

I have 6 kids (11 year old to 2 year old) and this place was so much fun! The staff and owners were pleasant and attentive to my kids. We enjoyed how clean it was because so many places in town are NOT! We plan on making this place a regular occurrence!

My son was bouncing off the wall at home, so I decided to take him to a place where he could literally bounce. It was late on a Saturday and our go to bounce house places were closed, so I decided to check out iPlay. Big mistake. It was absolute insanity. Big kids everywhere constantly knocking my almost 4yo out of the way. Kids sitting at the top of slides, not letting others go down. Kids jumping off slides instead of sliding down them. The employees didn’t care, the parents didn’t care. I asked the employees at the front desk if it was always this crazy and they looked at me like I was insane. I just bought a Groupon for this place. Looks like I’ll be out $ 14, because I am sure as hell never taking my kid back.

I’ve been taking my littles here for so long. I love how much it’s been updated now that it’s under new ownership. They love their regulars! Thanks guys for being so nice! I won’t deduct a star for this; but they need a new changing table in the women’s restroom badly! Also, the food area must be cleaned more often.

I frequently take my daughters here and they always have the best time! There are many different things for them to do, both physically and creatively, and we always leave with them wanting to come back the next day.

We had our daughters 3^rd birthday here, it was a hit! I didn’t really need help from the staff because I am a more hands on party planner for events I throw but they were willing to help. Bathrooms were clean and the whole area was clean, I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. I love the toddler area and it was also a great to know they have a concession stand there in case you needed to purchase any food there. Go early if you have younger kids that want to get out of the toddler area so that they don’t get hurt by the bigger kids. 11AM was a prefect time for our group of kiddos.

Not a bad place for a birthday party for younger kiddos. They all had a blast running around, and we (adults) were all thankful they could expend some energy on that gross weather day. You have to keep an eye on your own kids, of course. There aren’t a ton of monitors on guard. It was a busy day, and it definitely felt a little crazy. One thing I don’t love is the fact that there is no method of keeping kids in the building or preventing them from leaving with strangers. I know lots of other places like Chuck E. Cheese stamp hands with matching stamps, so kids aren’t able to easily leave with anyone other than you, and they have a person posted at the exit trying to keep tabs on everyone who is leaving. It’s probably not fool-​proof, but it’s something. In summary, kids had a blast, party was a success, but not much in the way of safety protocol.

Fun fun Fun! Staff is fantastic. Plenty for the kids to do. Immaculately clean. Great place to take the kids!

This is our third time here (on our own) and we LOVE this place! We have been here 2 other times for birthday parties. They have a variety of things to do from awesomely huge bounce houses, an art room with paint and crayons and even a separated toddler area. Every time I come the staff is welcoming and I have seen the owner there all 3 times working her tail off and cleaning. It’s clean, and big and my kids are always worn out when we leave. Win!!! Thank you for providing a fun and safe environment for my kiddos to play.

Don’t waste your time here’s, there are so many better and CLEANER options in town. The jumpers were all filthy with crumbs and candy wrappers everywhere. The place is very understaffed and hands off, and no one is supervising the jumping houses. Big kids were all over the 3 and under area and small kid jumper and no one said a thing. When a jumper deflated and fell on top of my two kids and two others, no one came to help or check on things, and after we pulled our kids out, another parent plugged the thing back in. When I went to complain the woman at the front said if it’s back up then why worry and of course didn’t go to make sure things inflated properly again. Lastly parking is tight. We got there when it opened but when we left a little over an hour later cars were circling the small lot.
Hands down the worst indoor play/​jumping place we have been to in town. We will not be going back.

Update: This business is writing fake reviews to bring up their star rating instead of actually doing something about the issue of safety.
If I could add a ZERO for Stars I would. Not only is this place dangerous because there are too MANY kids running around, jumping from the top of the bounce structure on to the kids below; the parents are not watching their children.
The staff waits at the front to take your money to sign you and your children into the play area. You never see staff members walking the floors to monitor the crazy level of activity in and outside the bounce houses. I saw on more than several occasions little kids (5 and younger) run over, pushed, head butted, and tackled by much bigger older children.
There is no staff to monitor what the kids are doing. There are signs that say no running but not one staff member were asking the kids to slow down. Nor were the parents encouraged to watch their children. A friend of mine had her daughter get knocked down (she is 7 years old), her daughter had a fat lip afterwards. No staff was around to witness or even offer assistance. The place is extremely loud with children screaming and even louder music.
In one maze structure, the kids sit on the very top of the bounce house then throw themselves upon the children running through the maze below.
We came to this facility a couple of times, however after the last experience, we will never come again unless things are completely changed.

Not letting as many kids enter one bounce house at a time. I witnessed 20 – 30 children enter a huge slide bounce structure. Then 4 slide down at a time without looking below to ensure that the bottom was clear.
It needs to have an age limit on the children that can enter the bounce houses.
Staff to monitor children inside the bounce structure to ensure they are not tackling other children.
Making sure parents are actually WATCHING their children. There were several children hanging out straddling the bounce house, they could have easily fell on the hard concrete-​that has a flimsy carpet.
The staff mopped a floor without putting a Caution sign, I witness someone slipping and falling. The staff did not check on the person who fell but sent a teenager over with a towel to give to the hosts of the party so they could mop up the water.
This is not a place I would feel safe to allow my own children to play. I talked to the manager, who told me that it was the parent’s responsibility to watch their children.
We went to this place twice for parties, I will never take my kids again even for a party. I do not want to risk my children breaking a bone or getting an concussion because there are too many kids on bounce structures, no parents watching and management who does not care.

While the kids had a great time with the variety of jumpers, obstacles and slides, the place had many issues. I attended a party with a reserved area. The floor wasn’t carpeted, just hard, cold cement under the a/​c vents which dropped puffs of dust on us. I must have inhaled a few. Everyone’s allergies were acting up and we finally figured out why. Also, one of the jumpers collapsed on my daughter. She freaked out but we got her out unharmed. I was also told that they weren’t allowing the general public that day, just parties but that was not the case. This is probably why the parking lot was a disaster. No parking spaces, everyone circling and finally parking in the fire lane. Some of the party guests circled for a good 10 minutes and street parking is not available. I don’t think I’ll ever return on our own. They get two stars for the variety of jumpers and decent bathrooms.
There’s also an under age 3 area and a concession stand.
