History

Established in 1999.

Blazer Tag is a family-friendly, locally owned business with a mission to provide FUN to every guest.

In February 1999 Thomas Maione and his wife, Diana opened Blazer Tag Adventure Center in what was previously the Southwood Theater and transformed it into the only stand-alone laser tag location in Austin.

In addition to offering laser tag in its 10,000 square foot arena, Blazer Tag has private party rooms, a snack bar, a dining area, and an arcade with over 60 high-intensity games, from classics like Pac Man and Galaga, to new favorites like Time Crisis 4, Super Shot, Harpoon Lagoon, Big Bass Wheel, Deal or No Deal & Galactix.

In May 2012, Blazer Tag added a ropes course, called Austin Sky Trail. The Austin Sky Trail is positioned 20 feet above the arcade floor and participants wear harnesses as they trek along the 7 different elements the course offers.
