History

Established in 2005.

For over a decade now, Infinity Moving has been moving thousands of pieces of furniture and boxes for clients in Austin, TX and the surrounding areas. We started off with one truck and trailer that served us well for years. However, a couple of years ago we decided to grow to two full crews to keep up with the demand of our growing city and customer base.

Our trucks can be found 7 days a week moving goods from a couple blocks away, to across the state to Dallas, Houston or even Corpus Christi. That’s a lot miles, a lot of gas and a lot of oil changes. Because of the impact our business has on the environment, during 2015 we’d like to give back to Austin by planting 100 trees this year in the local community. We hope the trees we plant will grow big, beautiful and tall to provide us with clean air, to help fix and prevent soil erosion, and to provide shade for our families and wildlife to enjoy for years to come. We’re excited to make a greener tomorrow into a greener today!

Rachel Ragland is a native Texan. She has been a business owner since 2005 when she opened a moving company with her husband, Ben Ragland, in Austin Texas called Infinity Moving. She also worked in the jewelery industry for 7 years selling diamonds and colored stones ranging from $ 50 to over $ 20k. She combines her sales knowledge and customer service skills from the diamond industry into her moving company to provide friendly, useful and honest services and information.

Third time to use these guys. They never disappoint. This time, Mark and martin mounted tvs in my master and living room. They even went with me to Home Depot to help get the right mount and pick up my new washer and dryer. I can’t say enough good stuff about this team. They are the best in moving HANDS DOWN! Mark and Martin were our movers. They were professional, efficient and friendly. They did our 2 bedroom 3rd story apartment to across town 1 bedroom 1st floor in 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Mark and Martin have a combined 39 years of experience and have worked together for 15 years straight. It shows.

Had a great experience with Infinity moving company. I needed last minute help unloading my storage unit onto my moving truck. It was quick and easy to set up. They even work on Sunday, which I needed.
Ryan and Mike were the 2 guys that worked with me. They were quick, efficient, polite. They even gave me one of their tie down straps since I didn’t have one, just to make sure things were secured.
All in all, I was extremely happy with their service.

Communication was clear and hey really worked around our schedule – which was difficult since we were coming from a 22 hour uhaul ride and not exactly sure what time we would arrive. Now that I have internet in my new home, I can finally write my review! Last week, Martin and Mark moved me from a 3rd floor apartment, in the middle of the day, in August… in other words, not ideal conditions. Despite having already moved two other homes, and all the other variables I mentioned, they were professional, quick, courteous, and even had a good sense of humor about them. Everything was moved safely, and I was even offered helpful advice, such as purchasing a new 4-​prong cord for my dryer on the way to my new home (they had the foresight that I was moving into a newer home that would require a different one than I currently had), so that they could set it up for me. I would definitely recommend this company and couldn’t have asked for better help with my move — thank-​you!

Infinity Moving was perfection. Ryan and Martin moved me today. You get a two hour window of arrival and they called to let me know approximately when they would actually arrive so I wasn’t sitting around wondering. They were professional, polite, efficient, and fast. They were helpful and informative. They removed a scuff from my furniture that they didn’t even put on it! I will use Infinity Moving for all of my future moves and specifically request Ryan and Martin for the job. They were fantastic!

Martin & Mark were a quick, professional team. Nothing was lost or broken. I opted for the packing service, which was surprisingly affordable. They packed everything Saturday morning, and moved it all Sunday morning. This is the best moving experience I’ve ever had.

I believe he is genuinely interested in running a successful business with happy returning customers. I respect and appreciate that. I will not use Ryan in the future but I will give Infinity another chance if I move again.

I’ve used Infinity Movers twice in the last few months and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move. They offer competitive prices and got the job done in the time they estimated it would take. Nothing broken during either move and they were very friendly and arrived on time!

Just a quick review for homeowners with larger homes– I called Infinity today to inquire about getting a quote for our move in July and was surprised by the response I got from them.
The person I spoke with wasn’t rude but, rather, was indifferent. When I asked for a site inspection for a quote her response was «we don’t have anyone who does that». Her solution was that I go online, fill out a form, and list everything I needed moving and that they would then get back to me with a quote. Well, I don’t have the time to do that and for a move of this size I would expect someone to come out and bid on the business. When I mentioned that this was odd and I would have to look at a different company the employee said «yes, sounds like you need someone else».
It seems like Infinity is better suited to apartment moves or small home moves where they can quote an open hourly rate on a one-​crew move– their reviews are certainly positive in those instances. If, however, you have a larger home I would not waste the time in calling them as, by their own admission, they do not really service that segment of the market. Again, they were not rude but they certainly weren’t interested either. Trying to support local businesses in Austin isn’t always easy!

I have used Infinity Moving 3 times since I’ve been in Austin and the service has been amazing each time. I am always amazed at how hard working, and SUPER fast these guys are.
We just moved 2 weeks ago and I knew it was time to write a review. Ryan was incredible. An absolute professional. These guys are so good at what they do — and they do it fast.
The cost to work with them is so reasonable. When you pay by the hour for guys who move this quick, you can’t lose.
Hopefully this is the last move for us for the next 30 years, but should we need movers again, we wouldn’t consider anyone else.

I would most definitely hire this company again; they did a great job, and were finished in a surprisingly short amount of time. Martin & Mark were the two movers that we had and they were both very friendly, as well as professional. They took care with our more fragile items, which I certainly appreciated, and they also made sure to ask where a box/​item should go in the new house if they were unsure.
We’ve unpacked almost all of the boxes from this weekend’s move, and have found everything to be just as we packed it.

I wanted to update my previous post regarding my October 2014 move with this company.
After the owners saw my Unilocal review, they contacted me promptly and offered to repair the items that were damaged due to poor packing/​moving. Ben, one of the owners, came to our home several times to pick up items that needed to be repaired and then delivered them. He also removed by hand all of the residue left on our appliances from the packing tape. All of our damaged frames were repaired as well as other items that were broken in the move (2 lamps).
All in all, the service we experienced after the move to restore and repair our items was certainly above and beyond the contracted rate as well as our expectations. We appreciate their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction.

It’s about time I wrote these movers a recommendation, as I’ve used them 3 times in the past two years. Once to move a whole house of furniture, the other two times to move things to and from a storage unit that we’re working to clear out. When we moved, we also used their packing services.
First, their booking process is painless. You submit a request on their website, and they call you back within 24 hours to confirm a time. They’ve been available whenever I’ve needed them, as long as I have a little flexibility. They return calls, give quotes quickly, etc. And their prices are fair.
All three times, our movers were Mark and Martin. They really are super nice guys. They are prompt (this morning, they called to say that there was traffic on 35 and they would be there between 9 and 9:15. They were supposed to be there at 9. They arrived by 9:10. In terms of promptness and communication, that is both typical for Infinity, and also pretty awesome.)
They are very careful with our stuff– we’ve never had a problem. They’re really efficient. They come prepared to take off couch legs, door hinges, etc. and put them back on, again very efficiently. We’ve never had any damage.
And finally, they are pleasant– if you have to spend the morning with relative strangers picking up your stuff and moving it, these are the guys you want to hang out with.

The guys did a very good job of moving all my stuff. I basically had everything boxed up and ready to go for them by the time they got there so it was a fairly straightforward job.
The guys who showed up were professional and friendly and you could tell that they took the job seriously which I can imagine would be difficult to do when you’re lugging someone else’s stuff all day every day.
I’ll say one slightly negative thing and then one positive thing in order to end on a good note.
I’m all for speed of execution when it comes to a moving company, but they tried to go *too* fast. I’m sure they were on a schedule and wanted to get done as quickly as possible, but when you’re dealing with someone else’s stuff, speed should not be your *primary* concern.
There were boxes marked as «Fragile» and «This way up» as well as small things I would have liked them to ask me about before they did it (such as stretching my expensive fitted bed sheet around my comforter and other bed sheets so that it could be carried out en masse). Fortunately nothing was broken, but had I done a poorer packing job, it could have been.
There was also some damage to a couple of my items including my leather couch/​loveseat set (they are fairly unwieldy and the guys were trying to move too fast).
But even despite all that, the main thing that matters is that they made it right, so I’ll end on some praise. Ben over at Infinity Moving took care of every single one of my concerns with the move to my ONE HUNDRED PERCENT satisfaction. There were no squibbles over any bit of the things I mentioned. He even offered to come out to my new place to fix something that had busted.
So in general I would highly recommend these guys for your moving needs. Just make sure that they take a breath every once in a while. :)

Infinity Moving
Oh my goodness. Chris & Ryan were my assigned movers. Ryan called me as promised, and gave me an ETA that was accurate. Nice … That means that I didn’t have to set aside a «two — four hour time window» only to end up waiting five hours (AT&T, plumbers, etc.). So… the two of them showing up at the appointed time was a breath of fresh air!
Both Ryan & Chris were extremely friendly and professional. I was worried that paying a moving company by the hour might be a nightmare. Just the opposite! You know how you see those guys from UPS running back-​and-​forth from the truck? That’s what Ryan and Chris did to minimize the hourly charge.
When we got to the apartment, they still move quickly, and they were very helpful (and patient) in placing the items where I wanted them. There was no rolling of the eyes like you might expect from someone.
AnyHow, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Infinity Moving.
On the other hand, Apple Moving was a nightmare … My daughter just moved last month. She chose the pre-​determined amount with Apple Moving (Instead of the hourly rate). She had about the same amount of items to move… there may have been a few more items. Her move cost 37% versus this move! Wow! Now there is extra money to buy things like kitchen goodies, et al. When Apple Moving got to my daughters house, they informed us that they had forgotten to bring the screws to mount the dresser mirror. They said that the screws were back on the floor in her bedroom, but they were not. Additionally, Apple Moving forgot to take out a box that contained ceramic tiles for my daughter’s patio table. It took three calls to Apple Moving to finally get the box delivered, and it took three days. Apple Moving was a definite disappointment!
If I move again, I will definitely use Infinity Moving. Bottom line is, if you move, check into Infinity Moving!

Rather than just say on the website they would not move my small piano, I wasted time at work filling out an itemized quote request.
I received an email response saying they could not move my piano for «liability» reasons. Nevermind my piano is not very valuable, dollarwise, to begin with. Nothing worse than movers who pick and choose over items. To make matters worse, I never received a quote for the other items. They obviously do not want my business, and that is just as well.
