Description

Specialties

Iggi’s Texatarian specializes in vegan comfort food that tastes like the «real» thing. We’re talkin’ good ol’ southern-style BBQ sandwiches, mac n’ cheeze, spicy PB&J, and chili cheeze dogs. Vegans, vegetarians, and especially omnivores are all welcome!

History

Established in 2010.

Iggi’s began in June of 2010 when two smart young ladies with a love for greasy vegan food teamed up to create a food cart like none other. The two make a fabulous team as each contributes her own unique personality and skills to the business. Rebecca Strong brings her years of vegan cooking experience to the table, creating flavorful and original dishes you can’t find anywhere else. Don’t ask her for her recipes, though-she’ll simply tell you they’re made with love! Zoja Ülesoo adds her creative marketing ideas to the mix, hosting film screenings, live shows, and various events that unite the local community. Together they work toward building a culture around the unique fast food joint. Iggi’s is a truly one-of-a-kind concept that (rather ironically) blends traditional Texas culture with progressive dietary choices. We aim to show people that vegan is not always raw, organic, or flavorless. Our menu features southern comfort food such as frito pie, chili chz dogs, mac n’ chz, & more.
