History

Established in 2007.

Honea Woodworks was formed in late summer 2007, when Chris was able to take over a woodshop from his retiring boss, inheriting a rich body of knowledge in the form of his staff. Having been a carpenter for many years (including two years in the shop he took over) it was a natural move for both Chris and the business.

With such minimal disturbance during the transition, the entire staff at Honea has continued to provide their clients with superb quality woodwork and design.

Business Owner

Chris Honea is the owner of HoneaWoodworks. He manages a team of professional cabinet makers in South Austin, TX.

His favorite wood is walnut, and his favorite tool is the router. When he’s not running the shop, he’s busy making aces on the disc golf courses around Austin, or fishing.

He is responsible for running the shop, designing the caseworks, and generally keeping everyone on their toes.
