Homewood Suites by Hilton TechRidge

We had a great time at Homewood. I booked through the website and got a pretty good deal in comparison to Kayak by paying in advance. Makes you a little nervous since there are no changes or refunds but you save about $ 30 a night.
Entrance to the hotel could be improved, it’s goofy getting into the entry depending on which way you are going on Parmer Lane, might have to whip a U turn. Our room was nice and exactly what we expected. At the time of our visit you could definitely tell this place was brand new. Almost felt like there should be more art on the walls or an extra piece of furniture somewhere. Not a big impact on the suite overall but it felt like something was missing.
Free breakfast was very good each day and a totally made our decision to stay here that much better. It got busy but the staff did a great job keeping things full and being patient with not so patient guests. They’re definitely pushing the Austim weird art theme and it feels a little forced. The graffiti looking art work on the side of the building was not really inviting, I seriously thought they were vandalized. Altogether great experience and worth a visit if you’re staying on the north side of Austin.

I had a great stay at Homewood Suites. The hotel is very new and clean. We had more than enough room for 4 adults in a 2 bedroom room. The bed was very comfortable which is a big deal to me. The complimentary hot breakfast was great with a few options between waffles, fruit, cereals, breakfast meat, eggs and grits/​oatmeal. During the week there are social events in the evenings and the calendar is posted in each room. The kids in the hotel seemed entertained with the basketball court and the pool. If I’m in Austin again I will be back.

This hotel is terrible. They incorrectly charged me $ 250 for a smoking fee. Their manager, Adam Lopez, said he would refund the charge. However, it has been more than a week and he has not refunded the charge despite multiple follow ups.

Super friendly staff– room was gorgeous and clean– I’m very concerned with bed bugs overall so I would suggest checking periodically as I’m sure many travelers will frequent the location. Breakfast was AMAZING! I would absolutely come back to enjoy the pool!

Found my home away from home here in austin. Great buffet breskfast, able to sit outside by firepit while I drink my morning coffee, enjoying serenity before I embark on morning of hiking austin.
