I have been staying here for 2 nights. It is quite a premium to pay, even on a weeknight(over $ 100). I feel I have been to heck and back with my own stuff, so I guess I assumed a hotel such as this would provide some accommodation… Ugh 1. The water shuts off while I’m in the shower. 2. I try to call to tell them and the phone is dead. 3. I go downstairs to find out that it would just be a few minutes(no forewarning) and was told they tried to contact me though it went to voicemail(so, no door knock since I’m within walking distance to the reception desk???) 3. On my day of check-out they’re coming around a full 1.5 hours before checkout to clean the room. The front desk said that’s just the way it happens. All of these events are understandable and tolerable. What i don’t understand is the fact there were no apologies, understanding, remorse, etc, only the response«that’s just how things are.» I guess my definition of hospitality is different… Any guest of mine would not feel a deficiency is THEIR problem. I would rather spend half the price for a 2* from here on out!
